Unprofessional is an understatement. At first I had a great experience with Jose. I was in charge of gathering donations for a school auction & I decided to pop in & see if an artist was willing to donate something. Jose was very friendly & gave us a generous $200 Gift Certificate donation. Really nice guy! My husband & I were excited to bid on it & won. In the fall, after a move, I tried calling a quite few times & sent a FB message- zero response back. I happened to have to... go in to Fed Way so I stopped by to see if I can book an appointment for my husband. I was able to book an appointment to discuss the design & another for the actual tattoo to get done in January. When my husband showed up for the design appointment, Jose was totally unprepared, like he had forgotten about it. My husband was kinda annoyed but no biggie. On the day of his appointment my husband showed up & no Jose. He waited for a little over 30 minutes, trying to email him. Finally he got an email back from Jose saying he switched his appointment book & his appointment got lost in the shuffle, he apologized & said that he’ll be in contact with him. My husband was pissed. Days later he never heard anything back from him. He went someplace else & told me to use the GC. After calling & emailing for awhile I was finally able to reach Jose- apparently he had my husband down for an appointment that week. WTF. Never bothered to contact him. Whatever. We booked an appointment for me. Unfortunately on the day of my appointment my son got sick & was throwing up. I sent numerous emails apologizing profusely hoping he would receive them. (Prior to appt, I had emailed what I wanted & never got a single response back.) He responded & said he understood. I called & emailed several times to reschedule until again stopping by the shop. Well, the tattoo gods were against me- I caught strep throat the day before & was contagious for another 24hrs after starting medication. Not much I could do unless I wanted to share it with other people. Called for about a week & finally was able to reschedule. He was going to squeeze me in before his move- I was super appreciative. I talked to Jose on a Thursday, appointment was on a Saturday. I got there a couple minutes early. I waited over an hour. I called. I emailed. I was trying to be patient since I had cancelled twice... but after an hour & 20 mins, I left. He never showed up. I never got a call. I never got an email. I get that this wasn’t a “paying tattoo” (it was tax deductible for him) but I was ready to give a generous tip. Not to mention the money we’re out from bidding/winning the Gift Certificate. So, yeah, unprofessional is an understatement. Majorly disappointed. See More

Jose did my tattoo in 2014 and it is still just as vibrant as it was when I got it. It's perfectly placed and just gorgeous. I will definitely be going here again.

I got my first tattoo done here after looking for an artist for a few years, I talked to Jose and we mad an appointment, I gave him the details of what I wanted. Then when the day finally came I asked if we would be able to do a different design in a different location on my body because I decided to get a tattoo for a pet that I had to put to sleep the next day, Jose was awesome! He sketched up the new tattoo for me and started. We finished half the tattoo and set a date to finish the next half. Jose is awesome and now that my tattoo is finished I get so many compliments. The tattoo means a lot to me and Jose did a perfect job at creating what I imagined.

Great group of artist that, after spending a short time with, you can tell have been around the tattoo scene / shops / events you name it. These guys know there stuff, they are busy, have steady work and their schedules are full. If there is one other thing besides being able to draw you want to look for when getting a tattoo, its artist with experience. Sang was the artist that did some tattoo work for both my wife and I and we are both happy with it. We will be back for more work for him to do, no doubt. Dig the shops vibe, their shop rat Toni could probably do a little straightening up since he's not doing nothin, but the place is a real joint with steady biz and pumpin out clean work.I would say the best satisfaction overall for customers is that your getting a great tattoo and not paying for it like the artist just won Ink Master or Artist of the Year award or something. Many places these days tend to get a little bit of a busy schedule and the next thing you know their price just hit Picasso level. These guys keep it in check and that's fair for everyone.

A friend of mine knows Mimi and highly recommended her, and I was so glad she did! I had been wanting to cover up a tattoo I got on my foot when I was 19 with the Eye of Horus and was really worried how that would work out. Turns out Mimi has a lot of experience with cover ups (including doing at least one on herself!) and it turned out way beyond what I had hoped. I've had my tattoo for 5 months now and love it more each day. Will definitely be going here again.

Got my forearm tattood here by Mimi and I'm absolutely on love with it. Its perfect. I wanted it to look just like John Coopers Forgiven tattoo and she absolutely nailed it. Linework, shading and everything is absolutely perfect. She let my friends sit and watch me get the tat and treated us like family. It was awesome. Its my favorite tattoo. 5 for artwork quality, 0 for customer service from Mike Torres. I love his work but he likes to reschedule and communicating with him other than contacting the shop, ie. if you know him personally, it becomes a bit more difficult. He's done two complete tattoos on me and one partially completed. The partial was the most recent piece he did, its missing a background and some details on the main image - decided not to get it done based on a recent conversation addressing my concerns with him without my receiving an apology and instead, a comment of "whoa Eric, calm down" : I addressed the issue of getting long delays (reschedules and lack of response) before being able to finish the piece. I also paid in full for the whole tattoo to be done, and I get frustrated with bad customer service; I decided I would find someone else to complete it, I even tipped. It almost feels like I paid, then I got delays because he wanted to take on other clients who will need to pay.This could be totally wrong, but that's where the customer's mind will wander. I also trained him at the gym for a bit before getting my first tattoo from him so it made me think if he categorized me under "friend" not necessarily "customer." Hoping this review is helpful, I am hoping that it will help Mike realize that he needs to be on-time, own his mistakes, and be more professional. His art is outstanding. He is a great person. His portfolio is full of amazing work and I love his specialty in portraits. Go to him, give him a chance. He just crossed this line with me and I won't be going back. Regarding work from Jose, he is amazing as well and I haven't had a bad experience from him. Got one tat from him - 5 stars.

I just got my very first tattoo done today, here. It was a great experience. I was a little nervous and was very picky on how I wanted it but Sang (who tatted me) was very patient with me and took the time to do it exactly how I wanted it. After I went to go show my whole family. They absolutely loved it and now my sister wants the same matching tatt as me. All of the artist are pretty cool and down to earth. Good customer service too! 👍👍

I got a tattoo from Art Never Dies back when they were still called all hope aside from Jose, which is still there, I believe he's the sole owner off the business now. I went in with a mediocre idea of getting the Seattle skyline tattooed on my forearm. Jose took my mediocre idea and turned it into a masterpiece. I get stopped on the street all the time because people want a closer look, and on more then one occasion I've been asked to pose for pictures so people can show their friends. It's not just the best tattoo that I have but it's the best skyline tattoo I have ever seen. His attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. I plan to get a lot more tattoos in the future. I'm uncertain of what the tattoo will be, but I am 100% certain where I will go to get it done. Keep up the good work guys.Also I noticed this place got $$$$ on the price which I don't agree with. I was given a great tattoo for a very reasonable price. I'd say $$

I got my first tattoo done here after looking for an artist for a few years, I talked to Jose and we mad an appointment, I gave him the details of what I wanted. Then when the day finally came I asked if we would be able to do a different design in a different location on my body because I decided to get a tattoo for a pet that I had to put to sleep the next day, Jose was awesome! He sketched up the new tattoo for me and started. We finished half the tattoo and set a date to finish the next half. Jose is awesome and now that my tattoo is finished I get so many compliments. The tattoo means a lot to me and Jose did a perfect job at creating what I imagined.

Great group of artist that, after spending a short time with, you can tell have been around the tattoo scene / shops / events you name it. These guys know there stuff, they are busy, have steady work and their schedules are full. If there is one other thing besides being able to draw you want to look for when getting a tattoo, its artist with experience. Sang was the artist that did some tattoo work for both my wife and I and we are both happy with it. We will be back for more work for him to do, no doubt. Dig the shops vibe, their shop rat Toni could probably do a little straightening up since he's not doing nothin, but the place is a real joint with steady biz and pumpin out clean work.I would say the best satisfaction overall for customers is that your getting a great tattoo and not paying for it like the artist just won Ink Master or Artist of the Year award or something. Many places these days tend to get a little bit of a busy schedule and the next thing you know their price just hit Picasso level. These guys keep it in check and that's fair for everyone.

A friend of mine knows Mimi and highly recommended her, and I was so glad she did! I had been wanting to cover up a tattoo I got on my foot when I was 19 with the Eye of Horus and was really worried how that would work out. Turns out Mimi has a lot of experience with cover ups (including doing at least one on herself!) and it turned out way beyond what I had hoped. I've had my tattoo for 5 months now and love it more each day. Will definitely be going here again.

Got my forearm tattood here by Mimi and I'm absolutely on love with it. Its perfect. I wanted it to look just like John Coopers Forgiven tattoo and she absolutely nailed it. Linework, shading and everything is absolutely perfect. She let my friends sit and watch me get the tat and treated us like family. It was awesome. Its my favorite tattoo. 5 for artwork quality, 0 for customer service from Mike Torres. I love his work but he likes to reschedule and communicating with him other than contacting the shop, ie. if you know him personally, it becomes a bit more difficult. He's done two complete tattoos on me and one partially completed. The partial was the most recent piece he did, its missing a background and some details on the main image - decided not to get it done based on a recent conversation addressing my concerns with him without my receiving an apology and instead, a comment of "whoa Eric, calm down" : I addressed the issue of getting long delays (reschedules and lack of response) before being able to finish the piece. I also paid in full for the whole tattoo to be done, and I get frustrated with bad customer service; I decided I would find someone else to complete it, I even tipped. It almost feels like I paid, then I got delays because he wanted to take on other clients who will need to pay.This could be totally wrong, but that's where the customer's mind will wander. I also trained him at the gym for a bit before getting my first tattoo from him so it made me think if he categorized me under "friend" not necessarily "customer." Hoping this review is helpful, I am hoping that it will help Mike realize that he needs to be on-time, own his mistakes, and be more professional. His art is outstanding. He is a great person. His portfolio is full of amazing work and I love his specialty in portraits. Go to him, give him a chance. He just crossed this line with me and I won't be going back. Regarding work from Jose, he is amazing as well and I haven't had a bad experience from him. Got one tat from him - 5 stars.

I just got my very first tattoo done today, here. It was a great experience. I was a little nervous and was very picky on how I wanted it but Sang (who tatted me) was very patient with me and took the time to do it exactly how I wanted it. After I went to go show my whole family. They absolutely loved it and now my sister wants the same matching tatt as me. All of the artist are pretty cool and down to earth. Good customer service too! 👍👍

I got a tattoo from Art Never Dies back when they were still called all hope aside from Jose, which is still there, I believe he's the sole owner off the business now. I went in with a mediocre idea of getting the Seattle skyline tattooed on my forearm. Jose took my mediocre idea and turned it into a masterpiece. I get stopped on the street all the time because people want a closer look, and on more then one occasion I've been asked to pose for pictures so people can show their friends. It's not just the best tattoo that I have but it's the best skyline tattoo I have ever seen. His attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. I plan to get a lot more tattoos in the future. I'm uncertain of what the tattoo will be, but I am 100% certain where I will go to get it done. Keep up the good work guys.Also I noticed this place got $$$$ on the price which I don't agree with. I was given a great tattoo for a very reasonable price. I'd say $$
