This has been the primary shop I've gotten most of my tattoos from. It's a smaller shop, they currently just have 2 artists jasper, the owner & Tyler who has also been in the Everett tattoo industry for over a decade. I believe they are planning on moving to Smokey point sometime soon so you may want to contact about location ahead of time. Tyler has done my last couple pieces. I'm working on a color, American traditional style sleeve that is looking great. Bad business practice. They're only open two days a week Sundays by appointments only, no one answers the phones when you call and on the days they're suppose to be open they're closed when you get there with no signs. I'd never try them again. Wish i could give them no stars. Read Less

I was checking this place out as my last artist retired and I needed a new shop.  I won't ever know if this establishment is worth my while.  Jasper was the only one in when I stopped by (place totally empty btw); could barely be bothered to have a discussion about an idea for some work.  Suggested I leave my number and I would get a call in the next day or so.  Needless to say, that never happened.  Probably not a great idea to have a "couldn't care less" prick as first contact.  I won't be back.  That word of mouth thing works both ways...... This is a small shop tucked into a corner retail center at Hwy. 99 and 52nd. Came here via referral from nephew who has some nice pieces done here by Jasper. I was greeted by Anthony and told Jasper was out. Since my Tat design was very basic, I wasn't set on a specific artist. Anthony was warm, friendly and easy to work with. I absolutely love the tattoo I got doe here!!! Jasper was amazing.. even though he could tell I've gotten tattoos in the past he still explained the process and aftercare. I've been to some places where the artist doesn't even talk to you during the session which is extremely boring but we maintained a casual and easy conversation during it which definitely makes time go faster while you're in the chair!  I will be going back!! I came into Theory Tattoo with a couple of messed up pieces from a previous Tattoo shop and they fixed me. They take pride in their artwork like a true tattoo artist should. The prices here are unbeatable especially for the quality of the tattooing and constructive criticism given. I have several tattoos covering my body from here its nice to be able to trust  a place so much I can say I have found my own personal tattoo artist. Jasper is a total jerk and a rip off. I went in there to get a japaneese dragon done and he told me he needed a $100 deposit to start drawing something for me. I paid him and was told it would be a week before he would be ready. I came back as instructed and he was not even there. I came back several times over the next 6 months and nothing but excuses and dodging my calls. I never got my deposit back nor did I ever get to see any artwork. This guy is a flake and a jerk. He always acted like he was better than me and was always rude. I wouldn't ever go back there or recomend anyone else to unless they just like throwing money away. Read Less

I've had several large pieces done by Jasper who is the owner.  He is knowledgeable, professional and is very approachable when it comes to designing and crafting unique pieces.  The environment is extremely clean and professional.   I welcome any people looking for a top notch piece to visit as I don't think you will be disappointed.   It never ceases to amaze me that people will try to cut corners when it comes to tattoos and art that they are putting on their body which will last a lifetime.  Why not get the best?  Do your homework and you will agree. I got my second tattoo done by Brea who is an apprentice at Theory Tattoo. She was very timely at getting my design put together and I felt comfortable telling her what changes to make to the design until I felt like it was absolutely perfect!
