Word of mouth, it's a powerful resource.It started with my hairdresser, then my wife, then me, then my bestie, then my daughter. You get the point. Word of mouth. Mothership is a cash only parlor. No exceptions. No ATM's onsite either.Trevor, the only name you need to know at Mothership. Trevor is $120 an hour. Minimum charge is $65. A deposit of $65 is required to make an appointment.Trevor is responsive via phone or FB messenger. Trevor is mindful of both his and your time. Trevor is ready at stated appointment time. Trevor's gun tracks active ink time. Trevor's gun is state-of-the-art and super quiet. Relieves anxiety for some.Trevor is methodical in his hygienic practices. Trevor wears a headlamp while tattooing to ensure the best work is done the first time around.Trevor is patient in his counseling to establish that both he and the client are on the same page. No mistakes due to miscommunication.Trevor has created beautiful art (sleeves) on my wife and hairdresser. My bestie and I aren't on that ink level. My bestie and I were looking for a small piece to honor our beloved late mothers.Be it large or small, Trevor should be your man for the job. Rating a 5 star... wish I could rate higher than that. Total honesty here, this is my first tattoo, Jimmy did an awesome job. I had a Celtic Cross with a Rose placed in the center; we gave him the idea and he drew it out perfectly, placed the stencil on my arm and it was no looking back. I'm 50 years old, was a bit nervous, they all there were just so kind it made it a breeze.I'm going to post a picture but i'm totally pleased with the results. Thank you Jimmy, Spike and all at Mothership. I've got a lovely memory to look back on.Btw... they all make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Trevor is absolutely phenomenal he helps surprise my husband with a tattoo and his work completely exceeded our expectations.he was extremely professional patient and kind when helping my husband with his tattoo.The shop is clean and all the other employees that were working were kind as well I definitely would recommend this shop.they are cash only which is something I'm not used to but it's an old school way of doing things Definitely see Trevor if you're ever looking for some fantastic work.

I love this place! Trevor has done 2 of my tattoos and 3 of my son's. His work literally has people stopping me to look closer at his detailed work. The owners Spike and Leslie are warm and welcoming....

The owners Spike and Leslie are warm and welcoming. I was so taken care of while getting my last one that all I can do is rave about this shop. All of the artists at Mothership Connection do great work so you really can't go wrong

I have recently started a big cover up project with colbey, a new artist there, and it has been nothing but good. His outline was phenominal, and i am getting compliment after compliment about how good his work is exspecially the part he filled in today. I couldnt be happier i found this gem of a shop off broadway. Affordable, good people, great shop!

This is, hands down, the best shop!! I've spent many hours getting ink by Jimmy and have had the opportunity to get to know the employees. I've only seen the best customer service out of both artists....

Worst business practice in the state. Spends peoples deposits before delivering the tattoo. My wife changed her mind and we had nothing but excuses as to why she could not get her money back. She paid all up front and they could not reimburse her. We were told we were at their mercy as far as getting her money back. We have to wait days, nothing specific. Just a couple of dirt bags that should stick to prison tats for trade.

My husband and I have been going to spike for a few years now. I wanted something for my back and didn't really know how it would look. He drew it up and I have been addicted to SPIKE ever since! I have had 4 done by him (SO FAR) I will be going back very soon for a cover up of another's so called 'art' that is now a Blob! My husband has just about finished Full sleeves from spike which are Amazing! We have been to many other shops before we found spike and will never go anywhere else again. His cleanliness is so far above and beyond state expectations. The use of disinfectants and gloves along with sanitized equipment is always his priority! If you are looking for a great artist who will make you laugh for the hours in the chair, along with listening to what it is that YOU (not him) wants on your body forever, then look no further than spike! We couldn't recommend nothing but the best!!!

I have been in there and talked to Spike and looked through his portfolio and walked out of there as fast as I could. It is 2010 there are great tattoo artist everywhere why would you settle for something that is one step above a scratcher for something that is going to be on you for ever?

It is 2010 there are great tattoo artist everywhere why would you settle for something that is one step above a scratcher for something that is going to be on you for ever?
