Adam Williams has always done some of the most beautiful work on me. In fact the best tattoos I have (and I lost count of how many I have) have been done by him. I got a memorial tattoo of sponge Bob for my little brother (rip 2007) and the yellow and all the other color on it are still incredibly vibrant. Beautiful line work too. I've seen Adam tattoo his own hand when he was getting work done at another one of their locations, he was having difficulty explaining a technique to the artist working on him and he took the machine in his non-dominant hand and did it himself. It blew my mind to see. He's got major talent. I'd let him tattoo ANYTHING on me. All the artists at this shop are incredibly talented, and no matter if toy want traditional Japanese style, comic book, realist, portraits, abstract, etc. They have someone here that can do it, and do it well! This is a piercing only review! We walked in to the shop on a Monday afternoon after being disappointed by Hot Rod Heidi's aka Sunken ship tattoo's lack of piercers on Monday's (no harm no foul we still love them!) Sometimes a lady or three of us to be exact need a spur of the moment piercing and Johan was happy to help. He was so informative and so kind and so easy to work with. At no point during questions did he act condescending or elitist. We had three different types of piercings to be done and he cleaned thoroughly after each one, was very efficient and then explained after care very precisely. I made an appointment to get my daith pierced. It's been a long time since I've gotten a piercing and I was super nervous and very picky about where I wanted to go. I ended up here with Johan. The place was very clean and organized, and the girl at the desk was friendly. He told me what he was doing the whole time and walked me through it, with no bullshit which I liked. He was amazing to say the least and so knowledgeable about the piercing and the nerves since I was doing it in hope it will help my migraines. He knew so much about it, which made me feel very comfortable be at ease. I'm so glad I came here, I would highly recommend him! Shout out to Catfish and Tony! Catfish is a dear friend and talented tattoo artist who is very professional, hygienic and caring. He makes sure to check in with you about how your doing, which I always appreciate. I had a conversation with Tony while waiting to have a consult with Catfish, and told him about a .. well.. bad experience I had had at a different Seattle Emporium shop, and he offered me a free tattoo and a t-shirt. I came in today as a walk-in to get some semi-spontaneous piercings with a friend. The shop was clean, the environment was chill, and Johan knew his art. He walked me through the process of piercing my septum as he did it, educated me on both jewelry and aftercare, and was all around a nice and professional dude. He even described how he works with the asymmetrical properties of the face to make things look right - my nose is totally asymmetrical and the fact that he understood how to work with it was great. I am blown away by his thoroughness, from the act of cleaning now vs. after the piercing has started to heal, all the way to product recommendations and answering questions about other products I've seen advertised for aftercare. I got my semicolon tattoo during the fund raiser, along with somewhere around 300 other people. This shop ROCKED this event! I had mine done by Craig, and I will definitely be back to add to it and touch up an older tattoo I have as well. He was so friendly (really everyone at the shop was), and I had been feeling tense because I remember my last wrist tattoo (got the semicolon in the same spot, opposite wrist) hurting like a Mother, but instantly I was going, "Hey that's not so bad!" He said he gets complimented for having a light hand often, and I can attest to it. So especially if you're new and nervous about the pain of a tattoo, or just a wimp (like me!) but love getting tattoos anyway, go to Craig, and it won't be nearly as bad as it could be! :D Read Less

I've gone to Tony for two tattoos, two piercings and just recently got another piercing by Johan. But I also follow some of the other artists on Instagram like Catfish. I've never had any negative feelings about this shop. Very professional, incredible work. Tony did a cover up for me as well as tattooed my Nana's hand writing. He did such an incredible job. I'm also a huge wimp when it comes to tattoos and he is so calming and great at helping you through it. I've come to notice that some tattoo artist laugh at you when you wince or cry. Tony is the complete opposite. I just went the other day with my best friend to get belly button piercings by Johan. I have 6 piercings and other than the one by Tony I've never had a better piercing experience. Johan was incredibly knowledgable about the piercing, what could happen, what to use etc. My best friend was SUPER nervous about piercing over scar tissue and he took the time to calm her down, explain exactly what will happen and make her feel more comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience. He is an incredible piercer and I definitely will go back to him for any new piercings and send everyone I know to him. Went in to get a double nose piercing and Craig was available right away. I have plenty of piercings and tattoos but for some reason I get light headed whenever getting piercing. And I am a heavy bleeder. Craig was very patient with me and talked me through the entire process. The piercing came out GREAT! He is very knowledgable in his craft and thoroughly explained the cleaning process and even wrote down my after care instructions.I had my nipples pierced here prior as well but they were done by Tony. Process went smoothly and my healing turned out great!Shop is clean and they are very friendly! I've been to a few shops and some of the artist can be jerks but definitely not the case here!
