I stopped by Enemy Tattoo yesterday because I liked Sarah's line work in particular. I was greeted by the receptionist immediately. I asked about Sarah and they brought her over to talk with me about what ideas I had in mind for my tattoo. It was my first time (I turned 18 in October) so I felt kind of nervous, but she discussed my options and scheduled me for both tattoos I had in mind for the very next morning!I was able to get two tattoos for $120, both designed by Sarah, and I was in and out in about an hour. My daughter was home from college & we wanted to get matching tattoos. After doing what I felt was diligent research, I called Enemy Tattoo to make an appointment & was told to come in to make the appt/deposit. The next morning we walked in & the two artists just stared at me when I walked in. After an awkward pause, one said "What's up," in a tone that communicated we were not welcome. After expressing what we wanted, they both just casually said they were busy & we would need to come back that afternoon. Evidently they don't have access to one another's schedules/availability?? Unprofessional, rude, disappointing. We called another shop & were very pleased with their customer service & work. This was my 6th tattoo, I am not new, but such treatment WAS. I just want to start off by saying this place was so wonderful. Everyone was so friendly, and it was a very welcoming atmosphere. I have severe anxiety, and suffer from migraine headaches. I went in for the daith piercings, already feeling very anxious and uncomfortable. For those of you who are wondering, yes it did hurt very much. I went into a shock and couldn't stop shaking. I had a hard time coping with it. But my piercer Sarah, was absolutely amazing. She was very understanding, and very kind hearted. She helped me through every step of the way. She made me comfortable and made sure I was okay. She even had me lay down for almost 20 minutes while she just made conversation. The piercings themselves were brutal, but overall it was a great experience. I could not have asked for a better place to walk into. Thank you everyone at Enemy tattoo for being such rad humans! Went to see Tyler over a month ago to have a Warrior Princess put on my left arm. He Blew it out of the water! This tat is awesome! ! Kinda weird experience, piercer was really nice but told me right off the rip that he thought septum piercings were tacky but that it was my choice. I should have probably taken the hint. I knew that I could only have certain types of jewelry with the initial piercing but he only had one option for me as far as jewelry went. Once I was done and left, I noticed that the ring was sticking out so far and piercing was really low even though I asked for it to be as high as possible. We drove straight over to deep roots to look at options for jewelry. He politely told me that the guy at envy didn't pierce me in the proper place. It sucks but I had the guy at deep roots re pierce me that same day. And when he took out the ring from envy, he told us that it wasn't a 316 like the guy at envy said. But actually some type of cheap jewelry that wasn't titanium at all. Gah! Log day glad it fixed lesson learned. Read Less

I went here to get a tattoo from Tyler on my forearm. He did such an incredible job! I'm so glad I got it in an area that I can see any time I like. It's amazing and I only came to him with a general idea of what I wanted and he made it better than I could have imagined. The appointment set up was so smooth, everyone there is really friendly and professional. I have never had such a smooth tattoo appointment from set up all the way to the finished product. Tyler even asked for a budget so he could make it work with whatever price I was giving him. I'm now super loyal to this place and Tyler. I highly recommend Enemy Tattoo for piercings. I got my belly button and my nose done there, both quick and the nose piercing actually painless. Everything is very sterile and the staff is so friendly. I went in today because my nose hoop got stuck and Elizabeth took it out and put my stud back in within 3 minutes. Wow, what a great FIRST tattoo experience and I have a LOT to say. Keith was my tattoo artist and he was so cool and laid back. I wasn't nervous but a little worried about how everything would turn out and how I would explain what I wanted. So, a few Saturdays ago, I called in after reading reviews on their website and how casual they ran - casual as in they really listen to you and don't treat you poorly. I forget who I spoke with, might have been Keith, and wanted to show him what I wanted (two pictures) in person, so he said come on by. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away and it felt so comfortable here, everyone working there was really nice and fun - great personalities! Initial Visit: I showed Elizabeth my tattoo drawing and idea, including a picture I found online, and where I would like it done. She then brought over my drawing and picture to Keith, who discussed a little bit more with me on what/where exactly I wanted the tattoo. Very helpful and he warned me ahead of time on how it might turn out in the small area I desired. He gave me also a nice range for pricing which helped me determine if I really wanted it done right now. I easily accepted and scheduled up for Saturday 9/17 in the morning with Keith. Got his card, left a deposit, and went on my way feeling like this was all worth it. Again, this is my first tattoo experience.Appointment: Upon the actual appointment, I was helped again right away and Keith and I discussed further about what I wanted, where, colors, and the like - he even told my friend he could fix her old tattoo and how much it would be, cool! He fixed the tattoo up a lot better than what I initially drew/found. I brought a friend to have conversation with to forget any pain I might feel. We started on time and Keith was so great to make the experience casual and comfortable. My friend and I were able to also carry out our own conversation and discuss all sorts of stories with him, which made the place feel friendly and not like some service places where you feel judged or out of place.After Thoughts: I can't remember the pain very much as I had conversation the entire time but it went way faster than I anticipated! The tattoo looks great and of course is still healing but Keith went over the care process with me and recommended the proper products right after he finished. Great customer service from these folk and I highly recommend them to you, if you are reading this! Just ask to see them ahead of time and before you actually want the tattoo, that way you can discuss everything you would like and get the artist's opinion, insights, and possibly a ballpark price. The most amazing tattoo parlor I've been too, in fact I've enjoyed it so much that I've gone there a few times and recommend it to anyone who wants a tattoo. Tyler is an amazing artist and very helpful in the design phase. He's also the fastest artist I've ever had. On my rainbow rose piece he quoted 3-4 hours and I understood that bigger piece take longer but it only took him 2 which was a great relief to me (can only sit in pain for so long). He made sure to take some breaks too but I was still surprise at the length of time.I've also had some pieces other artists started but weren't a big fan of the idea (the one really didn't want to do a kanji tattoo) but Tyler was not only willing to add on to make it look fabulous but was actually interested in the piece and backstory.The whole staff is very friendly and sometimes if they're not working on someone they'll come a chat too (a helpful distraction).I can't wait to come back and get more work done~! I came here before and got my first tattoo, a large scorpion on my shoulder. It was poorly done and I came back and another artist fixed it and I absolutely love it now. It is still one of my favorite tattoos. I decided to give this shop another chance because they fixed my first tattoo and I was completely screwed over. You could tell that they had a slow night and the artist completely over charged me for the tattoo I got. All I got was a swirled line with a dot on top. It was about an inch. No shading needed. I was in the chair for a total of 8 minutes. He charged me $100. And the line wasn't even straight. He tattooed it diagonally. 100 for a tiny line that he messed up. I couldn't believe it. My large detailed tattoo was $170. I gave them an extra star for my first tattoo fix and because the shop is clean and the artists are friendly. But I won't be back here again. Hoping to get a old tattoo touched up an a get a new one. So Greg is a older guy around 65. His wife of 32 years just passed away week ago an he's just trying to cope. So as humble as a 65 year old man could be. Full of laughter an stories. Theses guys at the tattoo shop didn't even give a shit about his stories, jokes, an his wife just passing. They shut him out after already saying it would not be a problem touching up his old tattoo an also doing the new one he picked out. An this guy. Sorry don't have his name. This place is so amazing. I've came here twice for a piercing and came here for my first tattoo. Some tattoo shops I feel you get a cold shoulder and all the artists have that "hard" feeling but the second we walked in we were greeted with smiles and "hellos". 5 of us came in Thursday to get a tattoo for my grandmother who just passed from Alzheimer's. We called ahead of time and originally planned to get tattoos for the next night and just get a sketch/idea the night we went in but there was time for all 5 of us to get it done the same day. Tyler was our artist and he was great! It was my first tattoo and I was pretty nervous but Tyler calmed my nerves and was comical the whole time. I'm so happy with my tattoo and the whole staff. I went here for my first tattoo and that was a big mistake. First they way over charged me because they knew I didn't no better. I have many issues with this place. 1)They charged me $160 for a very simple Star Wars rebel sign tattoo that's solid red. It is about a 3 inch circle. It took him only 40 minutes and that was with the two smoke brakes he took. 2) The tattoo artist didn't wash his hands when he came back in from smoking. I know he put gloves on, but it is not professional to go straight from smoking to tattooing. 3) I asked what color would last better red, or black. He told me red, but now I know that isn't true. 4) They do not have good customer service. I called because I was having a hard time with my tattoo healing and all they told me was I was doing it wrong, but didn't tell me how to do better.I won't be back to this shop. It was not a good experience and they will over charge you if they know you don't know better. Read Less

Myself & 2 other coworkers have been planning on getting tattoos/piercings with each other for about 4 months now. After FINALLY having the same day off together, we decided to go in and get them done. Originally planned on going to sunken ship but they were busy & couldn't get us in by tonight. After seeing reviews on here & looking up the artists work- we decided to come here. When we arrived, it wasn't crazy packed and we only waited not even 5 minutes till we were seen to consult what we wanted. Long story short, I got what I wanted & everyone here was just so friendly. I have a mixed view with the shop.I would first like to say that my visit where I received my first tattoo was good and I enjoyed it. The negative comes in where I put money down on a future tattoo.Let my daughter use it and when she goes down to do so.She is told that he left and we no longer have the money there to use. When we called and asked why they said it was only for that artist and since he left he took it with him.This was never explained to me when I put the money down what so ever.They will do nothing to help.So now myself or the other 3 members will not be using enemy.So for the 60$ they will not honor they will lose considerably more. I have been looking for a place for my wife to get the tattoo that she designed for a while.  Many places looked at the design and kept trying to alter it.  Tim at Enemy,  who has just recently moved to Lions Paw in Everett, was the only one who said sure let's do it and did.  The shop was spotless,  I mean someone with OCD has to be cleaning the place it looked brand new. Tim was so amazingly nice, and he is incredibly talented.  His line work is spot on.  This was a New Year's present to my wife and it meant a lot to her, she will have this amazing work of art with her for the rest of her life.  I can't say enough good things about this shop.  I am now planning to return to get some ink of my own, and I know this will be our shop for all of our future tattoos. I got my first tattoo at Enemy Tattoo after reviewing many other shops. I have a phobia of needles and zero pain tolerence, and therefore thought I could never get a tattoo. At the age of 43 I decided that now was the time, so I hooked up with Lucky Les (the owner) and he drew me up a beautiful dragon and rose tattoo for my lower back. He was very patient and convinced me I could do this. The shop was very clean and very well kept, which was huge to me. After sitting for 4 hours the pain was a lot less than I had expected, and the artist checked often to see if I needed a break and that I was doing ok. The tattoo healed great, the colors are bright, and the lines are straight. Additionally it healed so well that I've never needed a touch-up. I would highly recommend this shop for any age or any type of tattoo. Read Less
