Awesome tattoo shop! Got a tattoo from George and he was nothing but amazing. He was also so detailed and wanted to make sure the tattoo looks and is positioned correctly before starting. Had a 4 and a half hour session the tattoo looks great! Love it so much. The shop is also very clean and the the front desk people made it so easy to book the appointment and set me up with a person to tattoo me based on the reference pictures of what I wanted. A friend and I have been wanting to get matching tattoos and called around to a couple places. They didn't have any time available for when I wanted but took my number anyway, and ended calling me within an hour that they could fit us in! I was super happy and sent a reference photo so Eric could draw one up for us. He captured my friend and I perfectly and we couldn't be more happy with the result. I had gone in a week ago to see Jim and make an appointment with him for the following week after doing research for dayyysszs. I briefly explained what I wanted to Jim and he said he would have something drAwn up by our appointment. I came in yesterday and say the amazing piece he designed for me. It was perfect. More than I expected. His line work is PHENOMENAL. The color on my skin is so vibrant and perfect. I'm Soo Soo Soo Soo happy with the work he did for. Friendly people from humble walks of life. They have good art and ideas but I did notice one thing whille I was getting my tattoo. The stench of marihuana permeated the air. I have no problem with the plant since I used to be around it but I'm a firm believer of staying sober at work and partying when your done. Over the weekend I got bored and decided I wanted to get a spontaneous tattoo. I had a design in mind and called the shop to ask if they could take me as a walk-in on that same day. Within two hours, I was getting my tattoo from George, and he did an incredible job. Even though it was a super small design, he re-drew it after showing me his first interpretation to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, and he paid really close attention to the small details. These people are great don't get me wrong and I would have preferred to handle this privately but seeing there is no real visible general e-mail if any e-mail at all  I decided this was the easiest format.I called in for an appointment and the reception forget to interate the time of my appointment and when I addressed the point she became rather concern only to cover her on error. Look everyone is human it's ok, especially in any service to just say I'm sorry let's try this again, it's does not show incompetence, but when you go out of your to say twice *the time I told you* well that is when the incompatence sets in. Well what can I say about Triumph. I have a few tattoos, 5 several decent size, both at shops and at a convention. They have amazing artists and are located in Burlington, WA. I am a tattoo enthusiast and very particular in what I put on my body. I follow all of their artists on Instagram and the shop page. I heard rumors Will Lollie was going to be coming to town. I knew I had to get something from him. I emailed him directly then contacted the shop at his request. I spoke to Carla or Karla (I'm not sure on the spelling) was amazingly friendly and helpful. I received several calls and emails about my upcoming appointment. The day of we had a sitter and my wife and I headed down from Blaine WA. I received a call earlier and was asked to push my appointment back an hour, PERFECT that way we could enjoy another Burlington institution the Train Wreck for some dinner before. I had an amazing experience with Will Lollie. Jim got my wife in for her second tattoo, a long time coming, a really cute owl. I saw Eric Saner working, amazing! I spoke to Dustin and saw the owner Jason come in with his super cute kid. Overall, my experience at Triumph was one of the best shops I have ever been in. I look forward to hopefully coming back and more guest artists and experiencing great tattoo artwork in the Pacific Northwest! Read Less

I have been getting tattoos for 20+ years and this place is awesome. The artists are nice and helpful. Triumph is located in a gritty party of town but their quality of work is outstanding. Just goes to show you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. If you are thinking of getting work done here, I recommend Dustin. He is the real deal. Read Less

These guys know what there doing. Jason is one of the country's best tattooers. He travels all over the world tattooing clients from Germany to Australia to japan. They all have a common goal to be really great tattooers and constantly painting and getting better at what they do. There shop is also covered from wall to wall with amazing art mostly hand painted from other tattooers around the country. Many sent directly to them as gifts for being generally awesome guys. If you do your research which you should before getting a tattoo you'll find that this is the only place to go. Unless your willing to do a bit of traveling. Which people have been known to do often to come to triumph tattoo. Good tattoos arnt cheap and cheap tattoos arnt good. That's the just the way it is. The the fun of getting a cheap tattoo will fade away long before the quality will. Read Less

If you want a tattoo from one of the best artists in the world, go to Triumph Tattoo and see Jason Kuntz, the owner.  He is fast and a perfectionist.  He designed a Hindu goddess as a quarter sleeve on my left upper arm.  It is honestly one of the most colorful, beautiful pieces I have ever seen.  It is an honor to have it and worth every penny and ounce of pain.  He did it in 6 hours, one setting for the outline, the second for the amazing color and detail.  I also have a Buddha on my right upper arm.  It is almost a quarter sleeve and he did it in 2 1/2 hours.  I have had them for 5 years and they are just as bright and beautiful as the day I got them.  He is hard on the needle, but at least I know they are going to be as perfect in 20 years as they were the first.  His shop is very unique, cool and clean.  Carla is a joy as shop manager.  She always has a smile and kind words.  Every experience my husband, father, cousins, friends and I have had there has been a great one.  Good music, good people and most importantly, great artwork.  He isn't cheap, but a tattoo isn't something I want cheap..... you get what you pay for.  Its easy to find.  My only complaint is that parking can be a bit tricky.  Great Mexican restaurants to enjoy if you have to wait.  He gives you way more than what you think you even wanted.  He touched up an old tat of the Eyes of Horus for me that was black and grey and added a touch of color.  It looks so much better than it did when I got it in 1997.  He travels around the world tattooing.  If you want the best tattoo of your life, go see him.  And he doesn't have a bad attitude, he concentrates when he works, meaning he isn't going to sit and chat and entertain you.  He does his job and does it very well. Darin was fantastic - extremely patient with my design ideas and all the tiny tweaks I kept making that made him re-do the design about 15 times.  I don't know if it was the ink or what but my tattoo healed in what seemed like an hour.  Practically no residual pain and barely any redness for the next few days.  I got the new one on the inside of my ankle just under the bone so it's a sensitive area to begin with and it didn't even hurt to touch later that night.  I'm amazed.The shop is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.  Highly recommended if you're in the market for something new.
