Ink city is hands down the best old school traditional shop (my opinion) the shop is ran and owned by Jason he has a couple of different artists along with him he has his two sons Aaron and sam and another artist Matt they all are exceptional at what they do they are true artist. My whole family goes to them and we have never been dissatisfied about there work. They accept walk-ins and also by appointment they are a cash only shop so make sure to bring cash. They also have gift cards that are good for a year from when purchased. So go in there and gets some fresh ink. Read Less

Jason did my first tattoo, after my best friend passed away. Her family invited me to share a tattoo of her handwriting. I am very happy with the work he did, and I look forward to having more done. I went into this shop today hoping to look at some pictures to get ideas for my first tattoo. I've heard lots of great things about ink city so I just wanted to get a feel for their art. I was welcomed in but soon got bombarded with questions about what I wanted and how there was a 60$ appointment fee even though I told them I just came to look. I mentioned that I have never gotten a tattoo before or even been in a shop. As I was looking through their portfolios I wanted to take a picture because I saw something that I liked and wanted to build my ideas off of it so I could come back. Jason proceeded to aggressively tell me how "disrespectful" I was being, even though it wasn't his portfolio anyway it was Aaron's. Tattoos are not cheap and you probably shouldn't make customers (especially new ones) upset before even providing a service. I also realized that all of their portfolio artwork was on their website so I could have just screenshotted it on my cell phone if I really wanted to. Let's just say I will not be getting my first tattoo done here. Maybe telling me to not take pictures in a nicer way or offering to draw up an idea based off of the picture I liked is a better approach to actually getting business. Thanks anyway ink city! Been wanting a dragon tattoo for years and since retiring, I finally took that leap. Ink City is an amazing place. Jason, Aaron, and Sam are great people. Aaron worked with me on my tattoo and he hit it out of the park. I was very particular of what I wanted and Aaron took his artistic skills and gave me a awesome dragon tattoo that way exceeded my expectations. Probably will have him add on to a half sleeve soon. Very talented and friendly.The ability to create will defined art is incredible. Nice that they do asian artwork so well. Made me very comfortable (sans a shot of whiskey) for my very first tattoo. I spent a good amount of time looking for someone who could do solid Japanese traditional tattoos. Jason created an amazing full sleeve dragon that has made the wait well worth it. The shop is clean, well lit and inviting. The people are professional and personable. They are truly interested in giving you a tattoo and experience you'll enjoy (not the case with a lot of places I've checked out). I've been to ink city for two tattoos and although they were 9 years apart, the professionalism remained the same! I had a great experience both times. Everyone there makes you feel right at home like your just hangin out with friends. Brian did my latest tattoo and rocked it! Awesome line work and the shading is amazing. I met Brian at the Kennewick tattoo convention, I wasn't actually planning on getting a tattoo that day, but I went because my husband was getting a tattoo by Aaron. On the drive over there, and after sitting there an hour or so I decided to get a small tattoo representing my husky, and I LOVE it, it's absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Brian was very nice, and professional. My husband has gotten two tattoos from Aaron now, and plans on getting a few more from him. I got a tattoo from Aaron. We drove a long way to get tattoos here because we were recommend,  but I feel now that I shouldn't have.  The 1st apt went back, the drawing that Aaron drew looked nothing like the photo I had gave him, I didn't like it, and to top it off he "lost" the photo so... since he was nice and wanted a second chance to do it right.... I drove all the way home and back to give him another copy! And make another Apt. So next apt... drawing looks great so I get the tat, went well and I was very happy. Come back in 3 weeks he says... he will do a touch up for free if need be... awsome... well .... 3 weeks go by and tat heals great, only thing I noticed that was wrong was the ending of my daughters name. Her names maliyah, he put a swirly thing at the end of her name and so it looks like it ends in a y.... so I figured easy fix,  add a tiny little loop line so the y looks like a heart.... WELL I WAS WRONG CUZ AARON TELLS ME HE CAN FIX IT BUT THAT'S GOING TO COST ME $60....AND ACTS LIKE THAT'S NOT A LOT OF MONEY. ANY IT'S APPARENTLY MY FAULT CUZ I APPROVED IT THAT WAY..... I'm sorry but I'm a mother of four and  $60 is a lot... and my kids name looks like it's spelled wrong. .. FIX IT FOR FREE... he became a jerk... and I'm a quiet person.... but he can clearly see that it was wrong. .. what happened to customer service around here. .. I will NEVER recommend someone here... and now I have to look at my kids name that looks like it's spelled wrong for who knows how long... I'm so not happy. Read Less

I would trust Jason and Ink City with any future tattoos! I've had 3 done by Jason, 1 he designed, 1 was a touch up from a previous shop and the most recent which isn't completed yet is the start of a 1/2 sleeve Alphonse Mucha piece. I have had nothing but great experiences from ink city tattoo. Aaron has done mostly all of my tattoos. They are a very clean shop, they do such a good job. I will always get my tattoos done here. Every time I go into make an appointment they have a time open that fits in my schedule. I would send all my friends to ink city to get tattoos done by Aaron or his dad. They both do amazing work! I went in here for an extremely small simple tattoo on my wrist and got set up with Arron. After 3 different drafts of it and asking him to shrink it several times he put the template on my wrist spaced out all weird and it looked like crap. It was still bigger than I wanted and the birds were all the wrong shape. I would never expect somebody to want to tattoo me with something I wasn't in love with. Then he seemed to get frustrated I didn't like it. I finally just offered to pay him for his time and got up and left. Not a good experience,  was supposed to be my Mother's Day gift. Ill be seeing an artist somewhere else that can actually take direction and cares to listen to my wants. Read Less

JT and Jason are not just tattoo artists first, they are artists in the purest sense of the word. The work starts on their drawings when you hand them an idea. They will take that and expand it to something that is an incredible piece of body art. The shop is clean clean clean! I can't say enough of how well maintained their business is. If you want a small circle or a small square tattoo'ed on you, this place might be able to do it. Just be aware that there prices are the same as if you went to a tattoo place that actually has artists working there. My tattoo turned out horrable and now In stuck for life with a horable tattoo that I have to keep covered up and Im out alot of money. They dont seem to show any interest in adressing there mistakes and now Im screwed! Read Less
