I decided to take my chances and drive around to see who might be open on New Years day and somehow available to tattoo me on the same day. I had heard some chatter about this shop from aquaintences and had driven by it many times; today was the day, they were open and I was going to take a gamble. Boy am I glad I did! The owner (James?) was very honest with me about size, style and gave some great advise when I was unsure about certain expectations. He ended up referring me to Kaya who was a good fit for what I wanted. Having had a bad experience with spur-of-the-moment tattoos in the past, I kept my expectations realistic and crossed my fingers. My tattoo turned out AWESOME. Kaya suggested putting it in a spot that ended up looking WAY better than where I was wanting it. She was quick, thorough and is very talented. I will absolutely be getting tattooed here, again in the future.

A friend recommended Gorgeous James and I couldn't be happier with what he did! This was my first tattoo and I was very apprehensive because I thought I was a pain baby. James took plenty of time to make sure I was comfortable and did the most fantastic interpretation of what I had visualized in my head. Incredible artistry! And as far as discomfort? I was worried for nothing! Can't figure out which I am more pleased with - how he took care of me or my new ink! (I'd upload a photo to show you but Yelp doesn't allow it...) Highly recommend James!

A small shop but extremely clean and welcoming to newcomers. James and his team are friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door. They charge very fairly for their excellent work and do everything they can to make you comfortable during the whole process. I will definitely be coming back again.
That being said, the only downside to the place is that it is a cash-only establishment, so be sure to make a visit to the ATM before hitting them up.

Walk a few feet and gets some coffee, beers, or burgers!

I had such high hopes that this would become my go-to shop. James came highly recommended. From what I saw, he's nice & does great work. However, as it turned out, I received my tattoo from Chris. Chris is also a very talented artist. Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. Although I figured out the exact size of the tattoo I wanted, it was done larger (in this case, bigger wasn't better). I had asked for it to be smaller & it appeared like this was a big inconvenience. Since my tattoo is in a hard to see place (& photos are tough to judge by), it was difficult for me to see that the size adjustment had not been made. And after a couple months of healing, there are places without ink. Now I need to get it fixed. Definitely a (permanent) disappoint & I won't be going back.
For the record, this was not my first tattoo. I now see how different this experience was from my other one.

Went in with my sister-in-law to get friendship tattoos. Immediately it's obvious that this shop is extremely clean. There are also a lot of different types of unique flash sheets around the shop, including many by the owner. James, who is the owner, is a smart, thoughtful tattooer, who was excited to help us with our little project. I highly recommend him and his shop. I'll be coming back for more work soon. Thank you for the fantastic experience!

I called earlier in the week and told them I needed a touch up on a six year old tattoo and was looking to do a new piece. They said pop in anytime after they open so they can see what needs to be done. Came in and they scheduled me for a session later that day, got them both done. Super happy with the results. I totally recommend Chris to anyone looking for a touch up or anything new.

After asking around, I was referred to James by two separate people. Initial conversation was informative, James' work-books had an enormous amount of detailed tattoo work catalogued, & I could tell he was knowledgeable. I decided to take my chances and drive around to see who might be open on New Years day and somehow available to tattoo me on the same day. I had heard some chatter about this shop from aquaintences and had driven by it many times; today was the day, they were open and I was going to take a gamble. Boy am I glad I did!
