Got my nose pierced here by Salvatore, a bump formed after a month, it wouldn't go away for a month and ultimately I took it out. I went to three different piercing shops and they all told me my piercing was done at a bad angle (not perpendicular) which caused the bump, and that my starter jewelry was cheap and probably has nickel in it. I switched to a high quality stud, but it did not change the fact that my piercing was done incorrectly and the bump would not go away. Wish I could have enjoyed my piercing for longer, but I'll have to wait a few months for the bump and piercing to heal before getting it repierced at different shop. Sal was nice and friendly, but I'd recommend going to a more reputable piercing shop. Read Less

I got my rose tattoo done here by Yaz and it's just incredible. It's a lot larger than I was expecting but I'm super happy with it. It costed a bit but it was worth it. Yaz is pretty great and I trust her to do my work. I will hopefully be getting an old tattoo fixed there soon.I went in not long ago to get a new ear piercing and the guy helped me with all of my questions about the different ones and about the Daith and if it really works for migraine relief. He was very friendly and helpful, he answered all of my questions and then some.The shop is pretty small but it's great. The art work on the walls is all incredible and fun to look at/study/analyze. The artists are friendly and eager to help. They also like to hear your stories about what the piece they're doing means to you.I would very much recommend this place to anyone serious about getting some work done. Read Less

Went in for the star wars flash event to get my first tattoo and everyone was incredibly nice and supportive when I was nervous, and the tattoo came out really nicely! The shading and coloring is amazing, and I'm planning to go back in for future tattoos. Paul is a fantastic artist. Read Less

Well for starters im actually visiting in town to see my best friend and we wanted to get similar tattoos. We called friday and were told they could get us in that day. We heard nothing back for hours and when they did call we were told to come in the next day, they could get us in at three and to come in at two thirty. We went in there and they were completely passive agressive and seemed bothered by our business and punctuality. That ticked us off. Then they said they would call us once they were done with a tattoo and so happens they never called us. So we happily walked into Railroad tattoo which is literally around the corner and got it done and for a cheaper price and super rad people. So I definitley do not recommend this unbelievably flaky establishment. Read Less

And I always get my tattoos here as well even though I don't have many i plan to add to them and Old School is my place to go. Everyone is so nice here! I've gotten 2 piercings by Sal and he's great! I went in to get my daith pierced and I was scared because it's different and I knew it was going to hurt more than cartilage piercings, he kept telling me I would do great and really helped me not be so anxious. Took my fiancé in for her first tatoo in about 10 years. It was her Christmas gift so when I stopped in the week before Christmas and explained to Jerry what she wanted, and how big and where, we worked out a price (which was ridiculously fair) and set the appointment. My fiancé's reaction when she opened her Christmas card she was stoked! Got there for the appointment, Jerry and her went back and forth, tweaking the design until she felt it was perfect. During this time, Jerry was nothing but patient with her even saying "It's something you're gonna have forever, so I want you to love it." End result, a tattoo that is as beautiful as she'd hoped! I went to Old School for my first two tattoos, and both of them were absolutely awful experiences. The first tattoo, I got in March of 2015. I don't remember the guys name, maybe Jerry or something? But the tattoo is all sorts of wrong. It's about twice as big as I was shown, and a third of it is ridiculously crooked. Like, seriously, how do you make a heart crooked...? Awful first tattoo. I will say he was pretty cool and understand of my pain levels because it was my first, and on my rib cage. The second experience was with Yasmin and it was in 2016 some time. My friend and I got the exact same tattoo, but mine came out to be $60+ more than hers did for some reason. Also, we were given this crazy attitude the whole time which we thought was super uncalled for and undeserving. Never going back. Old Gold all the way from now on, Saul is awesome!!! Read Less

Old school tattoo is not the old intimidating shop that it used to be. The guy are so chill and the new management is awesome. The artists really know what they are doing and are extremely trustworthy. Ramsey robin rye has done all of my tattoos. I was once told "by another artist in town" that my skin was too dark for color. Ramsey has shown me that I can have color just like everyone else and it's beautiful! ... I went old school tattoo to get a piece done for my father who passed away when i was twelve. was so satisfied with pauls skills and the shops professionalism that i came back 1 year later for my next piece(also for my dad) ramsey did that one and it turned out excellent as well. My hubby went in and wanted a tiger tattoo on his shoulder and got Trash it looked so bad and they sent him home half done i was so mad what they did to him we went back to the shop and i was mad the owner was like that is good!!! i just out of words when he said that it just was a over all bad EXPERIENCE beware of this shop....
