I tried to work with Rose Ager at Diamond. I was super excited because all the work I've seen online was super great. I contacted her through facebook and made an appt to meet up a few weeks later as she was booked out. I showed up finally, super looking forward to moving forward with my tattoo. I brought numerous samples of what I was looking for so I didn't waste her or my time. I drove up from Burlington, Wa to see her. When I walked in she was not very nice, a little cold. Talked to me briefly and was eager to take my money and make future appointments for the tattoo. A few weeks later I show up (she was supposed to have sent me at least a sample by then) for the first appointment after I dropped off my stuff and she was supposed to have SOMETHING for me. When I walked in she told me she 'forgot all about our appointment' and she had 'stuff going on' and was busy etc and had nothing for me. No apology for wasting my time or having to drive up and take time out of my day. She said she would send me a sample within the week, which she did but it was possibly the roughest draft you could imagine and I made it clear I did not like it. She seemed offended and was determined that I keep the appointment to start the tattoo for something I did not want despite me voicing my opinion that I did not like what was drawn so far and wanted to work with her more on it so I didn't continue to waste our time. She kept pushing and would not reschedule. At this point, I told her that she could keep my money and that I did not want to work with her. I was really disappointed with her customer service and treatment of me and her attitude about tattooing someone that wasn't happy with her work and the pressure she attempted to put on me. I'm sure she is a good artist and I would chalk it up to a bad day, but it was numerous texts, facebook messages and two times in person. Take my review for whatever you'd like, but I made a yelp just to share what I consider an awful experience with this person, The clincher is that she willingly kept my money despite me not being happy and her making drawings at the last minute. I showed other people for their opinions to verify that it wasn't just me and none of them were impressed with what she drew for me. There was zero customer service from her in general. FYI. Shelly started with merely an idea that was to represent a deeply personal, very difficult time in my life that I have since overcome. My mom lives on the east coast and rarely gets to visit.
