This review is not base on the artist tattoo work this review is base on the the consultation I had with one of the artist I believe his name was Timonthy I have no problem paying for my tattoo but I felt like I was misinform I came twice into this shop to get a quote on how much it would be to finish my tattoo my tattoo is unfinish from a previous artist  the first time I came in Timonthy looked at my tattoo and quoted me a "fair" price on how much it was going to be at the time I didn't agree to it because I had a few other tattoo artist in mind I didn't come back into the Hidden Eternity until about 6 months later being that my schedule is hectic I had the time to finally schedule another consultation with him when I came in he had another person in the chair that was getting a tattoo when then proceeded to talk about my tattoo I ask him how much would it be to finish my tattoo Timonthy remember me from looking at my tattoo before this time he told me the quote was going to be over a thousand dollar maybe more and I ask him why all of a sudden the quote change you told me a different price he said that he was charging more because he got tired of doing clients tattoo and having to "fix it" he would run into a problem where if he had to fix something it would cost more he told me within the months he had a issue with that and got tired of it he said if I had went to the right artist in the first place I wouldn't have to deal with this situation I felt like he was making side remarks honestly then I ask him so your charging me for a whole new tattoo I minus well pay for a whole new tattoo instead of finishing the one I have now then he compared me to one of his client in the chair and was like well she's say paying about that much but she's getting a whole new tattoo I just want shading and coloring he said if you feel like it's worth it then we can go head and put the deposit down he also pointed out my tattoo and was like did you know two koi fish swimming down symbolize badluck and how I should done my research whoever I went to should of told me everyone has a differnt meaning when it comes to koi fish that's definitely not one of them as I did my research it means peace and harmony fire and water I honestly felt like he was making side remarks about my tattoos because he can seen that I hesitated about wanting to finish it Timonthy wasn't as cool the second time around his demanor was off to me than when I spoke to him first he was really excited to work on my piece I'm not sure went wrong wether it's personal issue still I walk out of that shop feeling some type of way I did eventually found another artist with a fair price range who is excited to work on it and didn't make rude comments about my tattoo I would rather spend my money somewhere else than feeling like I did with Timonthy Read Less

It's been a month since I got a tattoo at hidden entity, and I let them know that I wasn't comfortable with the shading on this tattoo the day after it was done. They initially claimed that it would look different after healing.   Two weeks later they contacted me asking for my phone number so they could call and set up an appointment. They never called. I finally emailed them again asking to please set up a consultation so we can fix this, Aaaaaand nothing. No call. No response.  I understand that it's awkward having someone not appreciate their """"art""" but like damn it's even more awkward having to walk around with some ugly tattoo, wearing long sleeves in the spring, knowing some amateur literally just used you for practice. My boyfriend and I had a great experience getting our tattoos here! Originally we scheduled for one artist, but she was sick the date of our appointment. The shop called us, got us in before they even opened so we could see Travis and get taken care of without having to reschedule a bunch- they understood we had someone watching our kids and took into consideration how tough it was for us to get in. Travis listened to exactly what we wanted on our tattoos, gave them his own design twist, checked with us every step of the way it was what we wanted. The tattoos are awesome, the place was clean and the staff is super friendly. I am writing this review in regards to my recent experience at this establishment. I wanted to give my complements to Gumby who did my PA piercing without a hitch and was quite informative and fun to interact with and I never felt uncomfortable at any point in time. A couple of his apprentices kindly asked for my permission to observe the whole procedure and I was more than happy to provide them a learning opportunity. The shop interior was quite nice, clean and inviting. I also liked that they use CC as a form of payment, which is a great convenience. When the time comes, another tattoo might be in the works. I was referred to this place who had had a tattoo done here by Isiah. It was beautiful and once I checked the reviews and photos, was definitely interested in coming here. I sent an email with a vague description of what I was looking for with some sample pictures from the internet. Jaxon called me back within minutes to set up a initial appointment. I met up with him to get an idea of what I really wanted, he then told me he would custom draw it and have it ready for me the next day, my birthday. Both him and the front desk girl (I think her name is Hannah) acted like they were surprised when I told them how old I was, how nice lol. The day of, he had drawn out a beautiful design pretty much exactly what I had in my mind. He applied the stencil to my arm maybe 10 different times, getting opinions from the other artists to determine the perfect placement. Once we had that done, he took immaculate care and precision to tattoo in the lines. It didn't hurt at all!* I should mention I am teetering on the edge of germophobia and I noticed they took every precaution to be as sterile as possible. Changing gloves often, washing hands, getting help from others when needed, etc.!! They also have TVs everywhere and they played "satisfying videos", funny/epic fails, offered to play a movie, to keep me distracted even though, I say again, it didn't hurt at all** . There's also a snack machine if you get hungry. When he had finished, he had me walk around and show all the other artists the finished product to get their approval which really showed they work as a team. I was scheduled today, 7/10/18, for a consultation with Travis after being told he doesn't have an opening until Sept/Oct.  I arrive to my "consultation" and the lady tells me that Travis doesn't have an opening until Jan...just 4 days ago it was Sept/Oct.  I get there and the lady asked me a question then would go over to Travis, come back ask me another question then go back over to Travis, mind you these are all questions that were email to them previously.  I guess after they were satisfied with my answers I was told I could go and discuss what I wanted to get with Travis.... while he is in the middle of a tattoo!!!!So you mean to tell me you SCHEDULED me to come all the way out to butt f$#k Auburn for a consultation and you couldn't give me maybe 5 one one minutes to make $800-$1500? I wanted a mandala shoulder cap/quarter sleeve, and I really wanted to find an artist who could understand what I was looking for as well as have excitement and passion for the project. I found that and more in New York. She is such an amazing artist (her line work is INSANE!), and I feel so lucky to have had her as my tattoo artist! She is so passionate about mandalas and understood exactly what I was looking for. It turned out even better than I ever imagined it would!This shop as a whole is also fantastic. It is very clean, has a super nice staff, and has a ton of big TVs with good movies playing to help keep you distracted while you're getting worked on. I was looking for somewhere great to get my conch and upper lobe piercing done and this place had the best reviews! Gumby was the one who helped me out and he is the best! He's super nice and helped me learn more about what I was wanting before he did anything and made recommendations just based off what was the best route to go. I heard about Hidden Entity through friends who had been tattooed by Travis and New York in the past - and had an amazing experience. We went in to get tattooed by Travis's apprentice, Jaxson. We were looking to find a design that 4 very opinionated girl friends would agree on, which is no easy task. Eventually we settled on a simplified and cute design. Jaxson was accommodated to all of our requests along the way. He was able to complete all 4 of our tattoos in one afternoon/evening, which was important to us! Excellent place to get your work done. My first session was 5 hours. Clean, friendly. They made sure I was comfortable and we'll taken care of the whole time. All of their artists are class A in my book. I chose well! And you would be wise to do so too. Just a add on to my last review. I've been in for two more sessions, one for 6 hours and one for 7. I've added update progression pictures on how my backpiece is turning out. Regardless of how many hours I do after 5, they have charged me the same price. So I've paid for 15 hours and have 3 hours for free. These guys are great!! The new shop is beautiful and is right across the street from the old shop on main street in Auburn. I came in as a walk in, asking to get my septum pierced. First off the vibe of the staff was, amazing. They jumped to us right away got us all set up, even cracked some jokes with us. Automatically made my cousin and I feel extremely comfortable. The piercer, Gumby, He had me sitting in the chair within 10 minutes of walking in. I explained to him how awful my nostril piercing experience was 5 years ago, so naturally I was horrified to have another needle that close to my face. He made me feel so relaxed, and comfortable. He explained the process to me very well, asked me frequently how I was doing. From the time I sat down and was up to pay it was probably a good 10-15 minutes. He was super respectful and most of all friendly. I highly recommend Hidden Entity to anyone. It's hard to find a clean, friendly, comfortable place to trust someone with your skin. I went here for my first tattoo. I got peonies, and I wanted them very realistic with no black outlining. When it healed, the petals were very patchy, so I got it touched up. It looks the same as it did before I got it touched up. I recently got a second tattoo at Action Tattoo, and I realized how much I did not like my first tattoo because it’s not exactly what I wanted, and the artistry is not what I was looking for. My second one has a great amount of detail and is exactly what I wanted. Also, the artist I went to was not very personal or talkative. She was very rude to the receptionist, too, because of an appointment mix-up. Now that I know more about tattoos and the artists and have had more experience, I don’t like my tattoo anymore, and it definitely was not worth the $320 I spent on it. Read Less

This place is awesome!! Very clean and sets needles and work station in front of you so you know what's being done in between your session. We did a walk in and Timothy graciously took us in. We originally wanted our tattoos done in dime or nickel size but he immediately told us that that wouldn't work due to older age and the tattoo changing and all that. The owner and him would always look over the stencil to make sure the placement looked right and then would have me officially approve it. Overall the experience was amazing! I hands down out of all the tattoo artists I've had would recommend him. He takes your wants into account but also suggests what is realistic. I'm very happy with our last minute crazy adventure! About near January I got my septum pierced and the price was ok, I got it for 50$ - sale, but while piercing we heard a pop. Usually that means he pierced through the cartilage and I believe that's what happened because it took way more than 4 months to heal. Gumpy was my piercer and like I said, he's okay. I guess I barely had enough room to get a septum anyway. They didn't give me an information packet on how to take care of it or a salt solution, like BJ Plus does at Southcenter. I had called this place today after checking some other places out. I can say i was very impressed on the shop itself. It looks small from the outside but very large inside. Very spacious and had plenty of seating. I was impressed about the cleanliness and all my questions were answered in depth and the process very smooth. I got my first tattoo done here by New York and it was amazing! She was super honest with me from the start and told me that my original tattoo idea not only wouldn't transfer well as ink on skin but wouldn't look good 20-30 years from now due to fading, etc.  She patiently explained to me what were reasonable expectations and boundaries to have for a tattoo/artist instead of just doing it anyways just because it was something I wanted. This was by far one of the best tattoo experiences I've had. Me & my boyfriend just got back from vacation and we got wanted tattoos to commemorate the trip. New York did a palm tree tat on the back of my shoulder and I LOVE IT! She free handed it and the detail is amazing, way better then the picture I originally showed her. I have never had such an amazing experience getting a tattoo. Hidden Entity is very clean, fresh and has such a welcoming and calm vibe. The entire process from beginning to end was stress free, smooth and FUN! Travis Popp (the owner) did my tattoo and I was able to email him my ideas before our appointment and he was fully prepared to work with me on creating a masterpiece. First of all, I know I can be difficult and I changed soooo many things. But Travis Popp (Owner) was so incredibly patient with me and listened and did what he could to try and understand exactly what I wanted. I had Travis and it was a pleasure to meet and work with him. We talked about ideas and after 2 hours he had a sketch ready for me and the tattooing process took about 4 hours and a half. Travis is truly an amazing artist, he took his time and really put his heart into the project. No matter what kind of budget i had, what he gave me was far beyond what i deserve and had paid for. It looks a thousand times better than the photos i had shown him in the beginning. I'm so glad i found this place and will never go anywhere else in the future. Highly recommend this HIDDEN gem of a shop. I came in with an idea of a tattoo and told the guys there. All of them came up with great ideas to make my vision come to life. I chose David to tattoo me and I absolutely LOVE the work he did. Even though I chose David, the other guys in the shop were still very friendly and full of conversation as I was getting tattooed. This is a HIDDEN gem of a tattoo shop on Main Street in auburn.  I had a unique tattoo idea and went over it with the artists, they all had fantastic ideas but I went with David, whose vision was closest to mine.David gave me a piece of art on my leg that I love showing to everyone.  I found my future tattoo Artist for all the work I'll have done.The whole shop is friendly and has a fantastic vibe. This shop is so clean and modern! It's defiantly the BEST place to get a tattoo or piercing! You can even enjoy your Netflix shoes because they have Netflix there! It's so awesome!Everyone there is so kind and they really care about their work! David has been working on a tattoo for the past few visits and I just can't say how amazing it turns out every time. The colors, shading, everything! It's too perfect! Gumby does the piercings and he does such a great job of walking you through it! I had him pierce my nose and it really wasn't as painful as everyone always said it was. If you're nervous about piercings, but really want one, I'd recommend him for sure! I've never had the other artists who work there do a tattoo for me but I've seen their work and it's always impressive! First off, I would like to say I really appreciate how well kept this shop is, very clean and friendly customer service! When you walk in tattoo shops, sometimes it feels intimidating but the employees here are super chill and make you feel comfortable.I had my tattoo done by Timmy, told him I wanted peonies flowers and he surprised me with a beautiful custom piece that was EXACTLY what I wanted! I'm so happy with how my tattoo turned out :) I'm so happy my best friend, Lauren, recommended me to him! Now there's no one else I'd rather get tatted by. I've been getting tattooed by David for a while now and am continually complimented on the phenomenal work that he does. He's a wonderful artist of many mediums, which transfers seamlessly into his tattoo work as well. He is especially skilled at photo-realism and I'm so happy that I practically stumbled upon him with a simple request of a portrait of my very own leopard gecko, which he executed flawlessly. He puts a ton of time and care into his work, which is evident by the quality of his art. Hidden Entity is the nicest shop I have ever been tattooed in. Everything is brand new, sparkly clean, and modernized to the core. Each station has its own television so you can watch whatever you want on Netflix, complete your own Bluetooth headphones. To be perfectly honest, I didn't even realize I had sat for over four hours. Most of the time I didn't even feel like I was being tattooed! The chairs are insanely comfy and I'm pretty sure I could've fallen asleep at some point (maybe slightly exaggerated). My visit to this shop was a fantastic experience. I can't recommend any other shop or group of artists in the PNW higher than Travis, David and Timothy (and see Gumby for your piercing needs). Read Less

My go-to tattoo artist, Timmy, moved to Hidden Entity! I wasn't here to actually get tatted, but my friend was here for a consultation so I came along. This place is DOPE. There are plasma televisions, leather couches for people who are waiting, and everything just looks so CLEAN. I haven't met any of the other artists here besides Timmy, but I can vouch for Timmy and say that he does some really great work. I've had small, simple tattoos done by him and he just recently finished up a big custom piece on my shoulder as well, and each time I have been extremely satisfied! I know I'll be back here in the future, so I'll give a better review then, but even just being in there for 10 minutes impressed me. I can't wait to come back for my next tattoo! Read Less
