The staff themselves were very nice. They SEEMED to know what they were talking about, however. I got a nipple piercings about 2 months ago by Pony and 1) he peirced me layed down which was a red flag in the first place (I should've known better) and 2) he peirced BOTH of my areolas way too deep. Neither of the peircings were actually through or even close to my nipple. I went to another peircer who immediately saw what was wrong without me telling them anything and she took them out. I now have permanent scars around my areolas.I also got the smallest of tattoos on my ring finger by Shannon who refused to consider where I wanted it placed. She was very rude. I tried my best to be understanding of her experiences but anyone else I knew that tattooed or been tattooed agreed with me she should've done better. She tattooed my finger WAY too hard and practically all of the ink scabbed and fell off without me touching them unless moisturizing. They are now splotchy and have scarring.Im sure they have had some good experiences before, however I extremely unhappy with my service here and Shannon was extremely rude to me. Came in on Sunday to get a septum piercing. I was given an aftercare sheet with helpful information on it and then a form to sign and check over. Then I was taken into a little room with the piercer, who I heard was referred to as JB unless he goes by a different name, but regardless he was very welcoming and friendly. The piercing definitely hurt for me lol, immediately started to tear up, but I took it like a champ and the process was over before I knew it. Very quick, not really painless, but I assume it's different for everyone. They have prices for piercings written down in the little lobby area, septum was $35. I arrived here very excited at 10:45 AM for two piercings. They'd been open since 10 so I figured they'd be all set up and ready so I walk in and I'm greeted by the receptionist with, "Hi, can I help you?" And I'm like yeah I wanna get two piercings. And she says, "Oh our piercer isn't coming in until around 4:30".  So I'm disappointed and say "oh.." and she said "yeah. Have a nice day". So I left and went to VB ink instead and it was great. I went in to get my nose pierced and I was very happy with the services. When my boyfriend and I walked in, a nice lady with blue in her hair was on the phone so I understood she was busy. But not to long after that a very nice man came out and asked what he can do to help. I told him I wanted my nose pierced and he got me set up quickly. The piercing room was clean and he was very nice. I liked that he had a conversation with me first before he stuck a needle in my nose. The piercing was quick and pretty painless. Went here 20 minutes before closing time to get a piercing removed after it had became problematic and irritating the guy at the counter(I didn't get his name but he had a red facial tattoo) was so nice and accommodating! I was afraid since it was so close to closing I would get rude service but he was very informative and took my piercing out for free!!! The initial reason I came to the shop was because Ghost Ship didn't want my business because I had my toddler with me. They had a sign on the front door that said children were not allowed in the shop for any reason. I only wanted a consultation and to set up an appointment. Oh well. So when I walked in with my 4 month old and I asked if they did baby tattoos and they said no which was disappointing, but I stayed to get a nose piercing. I had gotten one there years before and after taking it out I noticed a gray spot (argyria) which occurs when certain skin types are exposed to silver (cheap jewelry from piercing pagoda). There's not a lot to be done when it happens except maybe laser treatment so I went in to get it re-pierced as cover up what looks like an enormous blackhead on my nose. I've gotten pierced here multiple times and I love the piercers but my visit today has made me never ever want to go back again . I got my nose pierced here on New Year's Day and was happy with the time the guy took to talk to me and explain everything (he's skinny and has a good amount of piercings himself) I don't know his name so that doesn't help much , anyways I came back today and he was the guy who greeted me when I asked for a nose hoop I knew what I wanted a closed hoop no ball , -the desk assistant or whatever you call her had no idea even after me telling her what I wanted she kept giving me (rings with a ball) I finally picked a ring, it was like a hinged segment ring . I knew it was gonna be hard to put in so the chick volunteered the piercer to put it in for me . I agreed and the whole process was horrible.. he couldn't put the hoop in and had to take a taper to push through my nose (I started bleeding) then he tried again to put the hoop in , more bleeding after using tons of tools , a guide to push the hoop through with and a few glove changes thank god the hoop was in . He had to stretch the ring open .Then the hard part -putting the captive part of the hoop in. Now I have a hoop in my bleeding once healed nose getting pulled I kept saying that hurts your pulling on the ring .. I know and understand it's hard to do that's why I wanted help but if you can't put the hoop in yourself without making me feel even worse than getting it pierced for the first time then honestly I would have rather went home and done it myslef . It hurt , still does and now guess what I have a new healing process to go through . Mind you I'm pregnant and let him know that .. it's well known that during pregnancy you shouldn't get piercings due to risk of infection now I have to be cautious of my (basically new ) piercing thanks guys , a cleansing solution would have been nice before and after too . I will be keeping close attention to the piercing and have my 15.00 receipt with the date and location just in case .. .. and when he was done he simply bagged my old piercing and left it in the counter . The last time I got any piercing was when I was like 4 years old and my mom did it in the kitchen with ice (to help numb the ears) and a sewing needle (sanitized with fire). Old school!! Fast forward to years later, here I am getting a piercing in the innermost cartilage fold of my ear to help with my migraines. My coworker friend swears by it so we're both here getting it done. Only time will tell...The staff was friendly, the place clean and there was a TV in the waiting area which was cool as I waited for my artist.My piercer was Stewart and he was GREAT!! He explained everything he was going to do and was patience with me until I was ready to go for it. He made sure he didn't cross contaminated anything while working on my ears to avoid me getting any infections, etc. I can appreciate that because the way my body is set up I can get sick easy. If I was to get another piercing done I will definitely see Stewart.
