Tanane Whitfield is a rapist and the shop manager Sean threatened to sue me to try and silence me. I have an ongoing case against Tanane Whitfield. After calling the shop to let them know that one of the artists they have (Tanane Whitfield ) has an open rape case against a former client, as well as a stack of complaints from other women, the shop manager respond by deleting all negative comments. I went in for my first tattoo, a fairly small one on my wrist. Josh and the woman behind the front desk (sorry I forgot her name!) were both incredibly generous and welcoming! He took me back almost immediately and the tattoo took about 20 minutes. They were great with letting me know about the aftercare and what I should/shouldn't do. I hate my tattoo from this place...It makes me scared to get any more tattoos, because I'm afraid they're going to be messed up like the one I got from here. There's so many mistakes on it and it looks so dull. My friends tell me I need to get it redone and I just got it a couple months ago. The only reason I got off of the chair is because it took nearly four hours to complete it. It's so bad I'm thinking about getting it removed....I honestly hate this place. This shop is awesome! 4 of us went in for tattoos on our vacation to Virginia Beach. They had no problem squeezing us in and stayed open late to make sure we all got what we wanted! Honestly, this place was a joke, they overcharge for their tattoos and you'll walk out with what I like to call a "foundation" as a tattoo. What I mean by this is you'll walk out with a tattoo with no detail, no coloring, no shading, no effort what so ever, just a bunch of trace lines that a 5-year-old could do, and you'll have to either go back and pay more money or go somewhere else to have your "tattoo" finished. My bank account was high and dry after going here and I was expecting a well-finished tattoo with color, detail, shading, etc. But after they "finished" they said I needed to pay more for that, after I already paid $350 for a relatively small tattoo that only took 30-45mins to do. I wouldn't recommend this place what so ever! Save some money and get a better tattoo somewhere else. Read Less

I wrote a honest bad review of this shop on their facebook account and the owner called me threatening me saying he'd get me fired from my job! The next day I went into work and he seriously called my job trying to contact corporate and more to get me fired. Then removed my review on his site anyway!
