I went today to get another piercing and a tattoo done, I ended up only getting a tattoo done by Jason. I would recommend this place over anything. Jason is a very down-to-earth person, but most importantly he listens to what you want, where you want it & how you want it. I will be returning for more tattoos and piercings! Read Less

I’ve been pierced/tattooed at other shops but this one is the best! Steven is the best piercer I’ve ever met, and probably the only man I’d trust to shove needles through my face skin. Tattoos are reasonably priced. I’ve had two different tattoo artists here. The first one did a small ankle piece I had originally wanted on my foot, but he explained it would fade and we should do it somewhere else. The second one was an add-on to a sternum piece I got elsewhere, and it looks amazing. It’s a completely different piece and I love it! Visited as a first timer.  Impressed with the cleanliness and the BBB participation. Crazy loud hard rap music banging - not everyone's cup of tea. Walk ins on the weekend aren't a good idea - as there can be quite a wait.  No receptionist when we visited so tough to ask questions or get an artist's attention.  Got decent advice but a price quote that seemed quite high for the requested work.  Visited other shops and found that indeed the pricing was high in comparison to others in the neighborhood.  Went somewhere else.  Still giving it 3 stars because it was sparkling clean.  Cash only here,,,,,,no credit cards accepted. Jerry did a cover up tatoo for me. I gave him a picture of what I wanted. He made a couple of changes but made it look a million times better than the picture. It is absolutely beautiful! I went with my significant other to get my daith pierced. I was ridiculously nervous, I'll be honest, but Ashlee was amazingly patient and kind and made sure that she talked me through each step. I was originally thinking of getting my cartilage pierced by a gun, but looked into Skin Thrills and am very glad I did. Ashley pierced my cartilage with a needle. This shop was awesome. My four friend and I showed up with no notice and all wanted small dinosaur tattoos to celebrate my husband and I getting married. I got my tongue done this past Friday by Stephen. He did a good job with it, it didn't hurt. Today was more swollen, so I called and explained to them that I needed a longer bar they were really nice about it and let me come back in and they put a longer bar in it for me for free! My artist was Jason, he is a super professional incredible artist that finished a 8 inch by 4 inch Rib tattoo in half the time I thought it would take. That shows he had a lot of experience and was still willing to work with me on a design rather that expect me to take what he drew up or some tattoo that every one has.I'll definetly be back. Rob is awesome. I had a design for a tattoo that I sketched but I decided to give him free reign on the final product as long as my initial concept was a part of it. The final outcome was awesome. I've been here for several piercings by Atom, who is excellent, but I recently came in for a tattoo and I will never go back for other tattoos. If I didn't love the piercer so much, I would go elsewhere period. The woman at the front (receptionist or other piercer?) was absolutely clueless and almost rude. The tattooist (forget his name) only wanted to b paid n cash and didn't even go over aftercare. I have other tattoos so I already know what to do, but I appreciate it when they take the time to go over it with me again. The tattoo is ok for what it is, but It could be better. I'd go to Star City or Asylum before I ever come back to Skin Thrills for another tattoo. Read Less

I got my first tattoo done here and it was done rather well. The artist was nice to talk to and friendly. The tattoo healed up nicely and was fine. I went back to get another tattoo done there last September, however and was completely dissatisfied with the service. The tattoo needs to be touched up and it wasn't done the way I asked for. The design was not finished, with pieces of flowers not connected to the rest of the tattoo. I will never go back there. My friend got her tattoo the same day as I did, and the artist raced to finish her. The lines of her star are not straight and incomplete and the blending is horrible. A tattoo is not something you race at like a game, it's a piece of art that has to stay on someone's body for as long as they live. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
