This place does quality work for a very reasonable price. I got my first tattoo here from a guy named Ross, i was referred by my friend who also got a script tattoo from him as well, my friends tattoo looked awesome so i went to the same place he did calm relaxing atmosphere. My tattoo is pretty big and cheap under 100$ i went to red dragon and the same tattoo there was 150 and Brookland Park does a much better job. A few weeks back I went to get work done @ Brookland Park tattoo- my friends in richmond had recently come back from the place with some incredible ink! I was able to sit down with the artist and really discuss and plan what I wanted, and then come back the next day (probably would have been same day but the place was jumpin! and I got a rather large piece). I spent 2 hours in the chair- the shop team was entertaining and distracted me at all the right times LOLPlus this was my first tat in over 8 years and due to the pain with my other one I had prepared myself to be in agony! But honestly I was almost dozing off! No heavy handedness in Mr. Zobel!I will be back for more for sure- I know there are tons of shops and artists closer to me that BPT (I live in fredericksburg) but I can't see myself going anywhere else! I too have 5 tattoos. The first 3 were done elsewhere...even had 1 of them touched up in NY....however, because of my 4th tattoo (a lower back tatt) that I received at BPT...I became addicted ALL OVER AGAIN...and only a few days later I went back for my 5th and have my 6th idea ready. I have five tattoos in all. My first two I had done at another location and comparing that experience to the other three I had done at Brooklyn Park, I'd say BP is the better of the two. It is a friendly environment, one you can feel comfortable in. The artists are good hosts and I often find myself in conversation with them. Its like being a child in a doctor's office and waiting for the shot when you get your first tattoo, and it doesn't get much better with the next. But the artists were very careful and they listened when you needed a break. The artists will work with you on the design of the tattoo and I have never had cause for complaints.
