I've gotten two tattoos here by Rosemary, but I hear great things about the other artists too. Shop is super clean, great staff. Both of my pieces were custom and I LOVE THEM. Rosemary worked from my ideas really well, tattooed at a good pace and has the perfect amount of pressure. This was the best walk-in experience I've had in Richmond! I just needed to finish up a poem with simple lettering on my forearm and they were able to take me immediately and charged way less than what I was expecting. I also felt extremely comfortable in the shop, I love that it's owned and operated by women (none of that typical macho-tattoo parlor stuff). The woman who tattooed me drew everything free style and I was SO impressed and she had the lightest touch I've ever experienced! She also touched up the old lettering for free! I've gotten tattoos from both Kim and Isashah and have wanted to review the shop for a long time even though I'd never been. � I finally made the trip up to Virginia and it was so worth it! The shop is so beautiful. All of the girls are very nice and love what they do. The shop is very clean and everyone is professional. Cannot rave enough about Isashah. Been following the shop, and her, on insta for awhile and decided to make the 3.5hr drive to get some work done. She is amazingly talented and very sweet. Went there with my daughter, we both wanted tattoos and didn't have an appointment. We were able to get in later that day. The staff and the shop are the ultimate tattoo shop. Made us feel welcome and at ease. Tattoos are exactly what we wanted and done perfectly. Would go there again, even if I live 6 hours away. I'd make the trip to get tattooed here again. Read Less

I went for the Planned Parenthood event, and I cannot express how immensely impressed I was with this shop. I had started following them on Instagram about a month ago, and have been wowed with the work that they post, but experiencing it had me blown away! The line work is clean and straight, the organization of the process was well thought out, and the shop itself is too adorable! Everyone who works here is truly sweet and so polite. I stood in line outside of this shop for 6 hours yesterday and it was worth every second. Other shops do discounted Friday the 13th tattoos, but keep those profits. Black Rabbit opened up their shop for an entire day and did tattoo after tattoo with all proceeds going to Planned Parenthood. When I went back to get my tattoo in the evening, my artist said she wasn't tired at all, she loved what they were doing and it made her feel energized. Great shop, great people and great tattoos! I happened to schedule an appointment for a tattoo and then they had the fundraiser for planned parenthood the day after so I got two tattoos in a row. Both Jelena and Rosemary were very sweet.
