I went there for my first two tattoos today and fell in love with the shop !! Jon and bobby are beyond talented people. I brought a friend that I had recommend to the shop as well and hers was done by bobby and she fell in LOVE !! I had Jon and am beyond satisfied with his work!! I'm currently trying to find two new tattoos (with meaning of course) that I want done by Jon!! I can't speak about pain because the first one felt like a pinch for the first few seconds then it star...ted tickling so I'd laugh in between breaks. On the second one I plugged in my headphones and fell asleep 4 minutes later. Who needs a spa when you have Black Crickets Tattoo shop ?! 😂😊 These guys are great !! They were very kind, conversational, easy going, efficient, and very adaptive !! I have found a new tattoo shop and they have found a new client ! I can't wait for my next three !! You always get nervous going into a new tattoo shop not knowing what you're going to end up with, but from the minute we walked in to make an appointment to the time we left with our new tattoos it was a great experience. Loved these guys! I got a tattoo done there about 2 years ago and they also fix an older one for me. Amazing work, great atmosphere and very down to earth people. Me and my bestfriend got our official first tattoos done here and Bobby did an amazing job. Looked all around chesterfield and midlothian for a place that wouldn't charge me out the ying yang for a tiny tattoo AND had great quality and couldn't find any. A random lady in the mall recommended black cricket, so I set an appointment and got an amazing tattoo for an amazing price. Very nice man, really cool shop. I will be back for sure. Read Less

The black cricket tattoo is a great shop for getting that artwork done on you, the tattoos look great and the prices very reasonable. I've only got 2 tattoos at this point. But the larger shoulder to chest piece I have was done at Black Cricket tattoo by Bobby. My girlfriend and I got in touch with him on Sunday. Told him what each of us wanted he quoted us and came in on a Monday when his shop is normally closed because it was my only day off. He drew it up right there and tweaked it to my liking. He didn't raise the price for coming in on an off day. He also held conversation the entire 2 hours I was there getting my tattoo done, and allowed me to take breaks if I needed them. I got my very first tattoo here with Bobby. And needless to say, I was TERRIFIED! But he kept me calm and cool and let me take a break. That was 3 years ago. And now I'll be returning here for my 10th tattoo. I have never had any problem with this place. The guys are super chill and are willing to work with you on anything you want done.
