I popped in to have a few piercings made to even things up and found a very friendly and casual environment at Blue Horseshoe Tattoo. The piercer took great care of me and I walked away with three new holes in my ears for a reasonable price and a minimal amount of pain (virtually painless, really). I even consulted with one of the tattoo artists on a design I have been turning over in my mind for over a year now, so that was pretty cool. Not sure that I am sold on getting the tattoo here, but I can't recommend the piercing services more. One thing to keep in mind is the jewelry you want because their selection is pretty good, but I'm pretty particular as well. I'm going to purchase some rings for my Travis piercings and then return to have her replace them because I can't do it on my own. There is a minimal cost associated, but totally worth it!

I've gotten 4 tattoos from here , but my last one was a bit of a problem. When they guy doing my tattoo showed me what it would look like on the iPad it was spelled correctly and everything was right and said he was going to print off the same thing for my stencil. Afterward, when he finished I got all the way home and a letter was missing in my tattoo. I called and went back and they said they would call me in 3 weeks with a plan and they never did . I had called them 4 times to talk to Adam , the guy who did it , and he would not call me back , after the 4th time calling I was very frustrated and then that last time I called the guy told me I would have to pay to get it removed and they didn't have a plan to fix it. I will not be returning here.

After having to ask how long it will be, then they inform me that it would be best if I made an appointment. So I left and went somewhere else. The guy at the front, I think his name is Trey, was the only personable person at that place. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I wonder if Chris had been there, would it have been so expensive. Again I appreciate the beautiful work but that was a 50-75.00 tattoo and I feel like my 17 year old was taken advantage of. None of my family will be back for anymore ink at any of their shops.

He's not only talented but very down to earth. He's doing my whole sleeve and o couldn't be happier. Ren and Logan are both great people to talk to. They didn't only connect with me on a business level but they got to know me personally. Even if I didn't like the work I would go back just for their personalities!

I read the reviews because this was going to be my first piercing experience in over 20 years. I read the reviews and most complaints were that the piercer was not available so I called first! The young man I spoke with immediately told me how long the piercer would be in (without my asking). I went in within 40 minutes and was immediately assisted. Brandy was great. She was very nice. I asked her to talk me through the process so she took the time to detail everything she was about to do. She did not rush or rush me. She took the time to answer all my care questions. Going back today to get my 2nd piercing since the first was so smooth and I was initially afraid it would have been more painful.

It is now mid march and I have tried on nearly 10 different occasions to stop in to Blue horseshoe to get both my ears pierced. I have been told every time that the piercer is out and I should try the other shop and so I go there and no one is there to pierce. I tried again tonight and was told the piercer is at the Portsmouth location I drove straight there only to find the piercer just left for the night. It is a Saturday night and they just left hours before the store closed. I think they need to just change the name to Blue Horseshoe Tattoo and piercing if we feel like working that day! Each time someone apologizes but I have a better idea, fire the sorry ass piercer you employed and find people that will actually be at work every day to service your customers.

I called Robbie yesterday told him I was going out to sea in a couple of days and next thing I knew he had me right in the shop. He did everything free handed!! Last night, two friends and myself walked in at 6:30. We had seen pictures of Ren's Halloween flash on social media and it drew us in. When we got there he was finishing a tattoo, we were pleasantly surprised he was able to take all 3 of us, being they close at 10 and 1 of my friends got 2 pieces done. That being said our experience from then on was amazing. Ren really took care of us, he is super professional, and passionate about his work. Knocking out 4 tattoos, even staying late to finish. We are all in love with our pieces, and we will be back. If you want your tattoo done right, ask for Ren!

Don't recommend it at all. I had to wait in line for ten minutes before even acknowledged me. The place was disgusting, piercing chair was ripped open which will just trap bacteria in the foam. The people were dirty, didn't even wash their hands before handling my piercing and dropped my jewelry on the floor! All in all, save your time and money and go to a place that is clean, updated, and have people that know what they're doing!

Clean, bright,open early 10 am everyday (I think) Everyone was very knowledgable about every aspect from design to how I am supposed to take care of it afterward. They were honest and hooked me up with the right artist for what I wanted. I got the most awesome portrait of my daughter from Chris Bowman ( Mr. Blue Horseshoe). I will never go anywhere else, I love these guys. The piercing chick was so funny and made me feel very comfortable. She was the most knowledgable piercer I have ever spoken with. I got my hood pierced and it rocks. I cant wait to go get a new piece there. I would send anyone I know (or dont) to see these guys.

I read the reviews because this was going to be my first piercing experience in over 20 years. I read the reviews and most complaints were that the piercer was not available so I called first! The young man I spoke with immediately told me how long the piercer would be in (without my asking). I went in within 40 minutes and was immediately assisted. Brandy was great. She was very nice. I asked her to talk me through the process so she took the time to detail everything she was about to do. She did not rush or rush me. She took the time to answer all my care questions. Going back today to get my 2nd piercing since the first was so smooth and I was initially afraid it would have been more painful.

It is now mid march and I have tried on nearly 10 different occasions to stop in to Blue horseshoe to get both my ears pierced. I have been told every time that the piercer is out and I should try the other shop and so I go there and no one is there to pierce. I tried again tonight and was told the piercer is at the Portsmouth location I drove straight there only to find the piercer just left for the night. It is a Saturday night and they just left hours before the store closed. I think they need to just change the name to Blue Horseshoe Tattoo and piercing if we feel like working that day! Each time someone apologizes but I have a better idea, fire the sorry ass piercer you employed and find people that will actually be at work every day to service your customers.

Robbie is GREAT!!! I wanted to get a tat for over 2 weeks now. I contacted another shop closer to my home. Needless to say, they gave me the run arounds. I called Robbie yesterday told him I was going out to sea in a couple of days and next thing I knew he had me right in the shop. He did everything free handed!! HIs professionalism and talent is awesome. His attention to detail is remarkable. Robbie we'll be coming back to see you man. Keep up the great work!!!

Last night, two friends and myself walked in at 6:30. We had seen pictures of Ren's Halloween flash on social media and it drew us in. When we got there he was finishing a tattoo, we were pleasantly surprised he was able to take all 3 of us, being they close at 10 and 1 of my friends got 2 pieces done. That being said our experience from then on was amazing. Ren really took care of us, he is super professional, and passionate about his work. Knocking out 4 tattoos, even staying late to finish. We are all in love with our pieces, and we will be back. If you want your tattoo done right, ask for Ren!

Don't recommend it at all. I had to wait in line for ten minutes before even acknowledged me. The place was disgusting, piercing chair was ripped open which will just trap bacteria in the foam. The people were dirty, didn't even wash their hands before handling my piercing and dropped my jewelry on the floor! All in all, save your time and money and go to a place that is clean, updated, and have people that know what they're doing!

Clean, bright,open early 10 am everyday (I think) Everyone was very knowledgable about every aspect from design to how I am supposed to take care of it afterward. They were honest and hooked me up with the right artist for what I wanted. I got the most awesome portrait of my daughter from Chris Bowman ( Mr. Blue Horseshoe). I will never go anywhere else, I love these guys. The piercing chick was so funny and made me feel very comfortable. She was the most knowledgable piercer I have ever spoken with. I got my hood pierced and it rocks. I cant wait to go get a new piece there. I would send anyone I know (or dont) to see these guys.
