While visiting Virginia for the holiday, I decided I wanted another tattoo. A friend of my sister was familiar with Amy's work and hit her up for me. Amy responded immediately after receiving a message & pic of the tattoo that I wanted. A price was given and I choose of an appointment date was given. I contacted Amy on Friday via the phone number listed on there Yelp page. I confirmed who I was and told Amy I would be there within an hour. By the time I arrived Amy had already drawn up the tattoo and with ready for me. Nice clean facility and ok artists! But this place is not legit and a rip off! If u knw them personally they will work with u and I've seen that wit my own two eyes!!! But if u dnt knw any better they will rip u off! I get paid to go in and see what the bussiness is about and i was charged 200$ for one tattoo that shouldn't of been no more then 70$ so with that being said enter at your own risk!! Was sent to Norfolk to stage for a few days prior to deploying overseas with the military. Went to All Out Tatto and showed an artist Lisa the work I wanted to do. It was very detailed as far as prep work goes, and she gave it her absolute full attention, which surprised me for being a walk-in. The care and attention she gave her art was truly impressive and I could not have asked for a better finish product! Walked in to all out tattoo and felt so welcomed. Lisa is new to all out tattoo but she is an AMAZING and I really mean AMAZING tattoo artist. She did my cover up on my wrist and it came out exactly how I wanted it and flawless. I've never had so many compliments on a tattoo before, and so many people asking me for her number so they can get in touch with her! I love this shop. I looked around trying to find a reasonably priced tattoo shop in Norfolk which did amazing work. After reading the other reviews on here it makes me kind of upset because every artist In this shop does amazing work. Mandy completed a large custom piece for me. I've spent 2 years with her. Awesome, caring and genuine artist who loves what she does. The price is right and she has her own little area that can be used privately if you prefer that in the shop. She always makes sure I have water and that I get breaks when and if I need them. I love my tattoo from her. My husband gets his done by Hero. The shop is fun, clean and comfortable. The artists are experienced and friendly, each one of them specializes in something. However, if you ask Hero to do something simple like text he will probably say no, as he has plenty, 20 years, of experience and the younger artists need those opportunities for easier tats more. This place does not even deserve one star after the service my sister and I have received. We went in for matching tattoos on Aug 30 and thought everything was cool, until we got home and had a chance to fully look at the tattoos. Joe was our artist, and not only did he do crummy line work, he misspelled one of our words in the tat. We paid $200 each for a tattoo that is completely screwed up. My sister contacted them on their Facebook page about the errors and asked for at LEAST a partial refund, and we have had no contact back. Outside of true tattoo issue itself, the manager, Hero, was a complete snob about even doing our tattoo because it was too basic for his apparent talent. As I later watched him work on another customer, he kept stopping his work every five minutes to go change the music that was playing in the shop. I have over 20 tattoos and I've never been lwft with such a bad taste in my mouth. I would never recommend someone to go to this place. Read Less

I went in there with my husband and we wanted an Infiniti symbol and a heart. He added his input and said well, what about a traditional heart. We agreed. We thought that would be a great idea. So, we proceed to put our deposit down, $200 and depart the place.  We come back the next day for our appointments and to see what he came up with. He came up with a traditional heart with like thunder going through it. He didn't incorporate the Infiniti sign what so ever. We asked him if he could do that, he didn't even attempt it. He said, man, I can't do it. We proceeded and ask for our deposit back. He said that we couldn't even get our deposit back what so ever. All he did was spend like 30 minutes on a drawing, didn't try making it over for us or anything. Highly dissatisfied, completely unprofessional, and lack of attention to detail for the customers needs. I will never go back to this place again! I will never go back to this place. Read Less

Loved it! Loved my artist Mandy. She totally captured the idea I wanted for my tattoo even better than in my head, made me comfortable (like, I was relieved to not have listen to crappy heavy metal music while a smelly, pervy guy did my tattoo like most tattoo artists i been to) and she was so nice! She made me laugh, her working area was set up for privacy, and was so clean and tidy! Listened to great music, carried on fun conversation, and before i knew it, my new favorite tattoo was all done. Its so pretty and colorful! Im definitely going to her from now on! Took my wife in for a ring tattoo and Joe said he could do it and it would be $80. My wife paid and the we sat down. After the tattoo was drawn out my wife was not happy with the size and requested something bigger. We were told it couldn't be done. So we went back up to the front desk to get our money back and was told there was no refunds. They wanted to keep the money and not did not even do anything but draw on a piece of paper. When asked to speak to the manager was given the run around. Finally joe came from the back and said to charge $10 for a set up fee. So we paid $10 for a 1/2 inch circle piece of paper and walked out empty handed. Take your money and business else where. This is poor customer service. Read Less

Not knockin the art of the artists because it seems good. But I went here interested in an ancient tribal piece that I put a lot of work into researching, reading books, consulting tribal art authors/educators etc. and putting together and needless to say the artist who I spoke to with interest didn't seem like he was interested at all. Instead of suggesting what YOU think is cool, think about the time it may have taken a person to research what THEY want. What I wanted wasn't a tattoo artists' rendition of a "cool" ancient tribal piece... But having the woman at the front desk Google "island tribal" was a slap in the face to me. My piece was 100% related to my culture and every part had meaning. Samoan, Polynesian, Maori tribal etc... was not what I was looking for.
