I really enjoyed working with Micki at Graffiti's. I have been planning on getting my 8th tattoo for a little while, but just having moved back to the area, wasn't really sure on where to go with it. Micki was extremely patient with some of my planning/timing issues. At one point, I got a minor surgery and thought I might get the tattoo the next day, but Micki had me wait until I was healed up, which shows to me that she was looking out for my health/safety.The front of the shop is fairly unassuming, but it's relatively easy to find, especially if you're using your GPS. Inside there is a sitting area. Everyone that I met seemed pretty kind and open. Micki listened to my idea, which I had asked her about previously, and sketched up this really beautiful little design for me. I told her I wanted color and possibly watercolor, but I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted that to be saturated.I got my tattoo on my left side on my ribcage. But the entire process was pretty comfortable for me, to be honest. Although it hurt, Micki talked to me the whole time, and was pretty gentle with my skin. At no point was I writhing in pain. She seemed to take good care of what she did. The shop also sends you away at the end with aftercare instructions.Overall I'm really happy with Graffiti's and would definitely make the drive over to get my next tattoo done there! Read Less

Went to get a Medusa and ended up with basically a jestrum....The female had to do it again after I argued that it didn't look right....she insisted that she had done it correctly. The price was way to much for a seemingly inexperienced piercer as well....my first Medusa was done at lucky 13 and was perfect and the price was as well......don't go to this place....Go to lucky 13 instead.... Here's an update.....I decided to go back to see if she had and jewelry and the owner(tall chick) was gonna charge me 12$ for the jewelry and another $15 to Change it out🤔....not sure what she had been smoking that day but to think I was gonna pay her $27 dollars for yet another crappy job...she informed me that the extra $15 was for the equipment that she had to use to change it out....🤦...I thought to myself dame lady l, you only gonna need gloves and had I known you were gonna charge $15 for some damn gloves I would have picked up a pair from Walmart for 2$.....yet again another tragic experience.... never again. The first time I went I got my eyebrow pierced, it was done so badly that it grew out in 2 months. They refused to do anything to compensate me. Last week I went back to get my nose pierced and I was only going because they were the closest open shop, the piercer was extremely rude and refused to pierce me because my daughter was with me. I left and went to Lucky 13 in Richmond. They were amazing and fast and cheaper!!! I'll never go to graffiti ink again. Rude and crude = no business! I'd give ZERO stars if I could!! The Shops new location is much bigger, all whom were there made me feel like I was at home with there conversation, and making me feel comfortable durning my tattoo process. Cameron Mills has always been my number one go to for a tattoo. He has not only giving me a tattoo he has fix previous tattoos that I was unsatisfied with by other artist. Cameron has been very patient with me when deciding my tattoos and went above and beyond to give me exactly what I want in a tattoo. The coloring,shading, and highlighting he created in his artwork is magnificent!! I got a daisy put on my shoulder and I wanted it to look like the butterfly has landed right ...on it! He nailed it! Cameron takes 100% dedication into every little detail in his artwork. I should know because the results surely show. I wouldn't trust no one else to do my tattoos. The above person obviously did not know how to treat a true artist. Rex is not only top quality, but the man has an artistic eye as well as brains. I imagine a young person telling REX what to do and how to do it. Not good. Trust your artist, or find a new one. I just got out of the chair for 4 hours, let him do what he wanted, with a couple of guidelines, and I am more than impressed. I've been tattooed by the best, and Rex is up there with them. Great guy, great people, truly an artist. One should be happy he even gives you his time. You'll have a hard time finding better. Read Less
