"Virginia Class Tattoo" started out when two friends just happened to need a place to work at the same time, but were not content with any shop in the area that could offer absolute freedom and space to be creative. Virginia Class Tattoo specializes in completely custom tattooing for our collectors. We also have an area dedicated to feature and showcase fine Art from many Artist in the country.

If you're considering this shop for your next tattoo, don't go to Scubasteve (Steve Chung). He's very unprofessional and disrespectful. He does not keep up his inbox and takes days to respond to an email. He claims that he doesn't check his email as often, despite him linking it to his Instagram account. If he were a true a businessman, he would be checking his email at least once a day (or more, considering it's linked to his account). If you choose to DM him on Instagram, don't expect a response either. When he does respond to emails (after a week) he will be extremely snappy, as if you're the reason the booking process is taking weeks. Every time you email him, even if you respond within seconds, you'll have to send a reminder email after a few days. This man is clearly all about the money. HAVE HIM BOOK YOU AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE PUTTING DOWN A DEPOSIT!!! He will take your online deposit (and process it through the shop system) before verifying that your schedules align, then he won't respond for a while and you'll have to send him a reminder email to make sure he's not scamming you. His attitude is disgusting and he has 0 customer service. Forget asking him questions or trying to get comfortable with the man that will be permanently engraving your body with his art. You'll be met with a short temper. I'm sure the other artists at this shop are great and I'm sure Steve is too, but he just has horrible customer service.

I can't comment on how well they actually tattoo. I can comment on the fact that one of the artists received my $50 deposit, then stopped texting me on the days prior to my appointment. When my husband called the shop, we were told that the artist had a family emergency and that they weren't able to get in contact with his clients. So we allowed the week to go by, hoping eventually the artist would get back to me once his family emergency was resolved. When he finally did a week after my appointment date, I told him that I wouldn't be getting my tattoo after all and would like my deposit. He then stopped texting me. When we called the shop, we told them about how the artist stopped texting when I asked about my deposit back. The shop called me back and left a voicemail. When I called them back, they never answered. And I haven't gotten a call since.So it's been weeks and I never got my deposit back. I'm out $50, nothing from the tattoo artist or the shop since the last time I called. So I guess beware of who you set your appointment with. Seems like they're okay with keeping their client's deposits and just ghosting them.

Alberto is absolutely the best. After looking for tattoo artist in the area. I found Alberto at Virginia Class Tattoos in manassas. Yes their shop is very clean and professional looking. He is an awesome person and his work is absolutely amazing. I get so many compliments from friends and people on the street. I highly recommend Alberto to do your tattoos.

I also sent an email for an estimate, it took them over a month to respond to me. After they finally reached me, they gave me an extremely high quote for something on the wrist that was small. They have awful customer service. I would recommend Exposed Tatto in Manassas. They do awesome work an have way better customer service

I absolutely love coming to this shop. Everyone here is so welcoming and helpful. And the customer service is amazing. I've never felt so comfortable about getting a tattoo until I came here. My tattoo artist Aaron Garcia was so professional and so helpful when it came to designing my piece. I was so indecisive and nervous about the outcome of my tattoo but he made it an easy and fun process. I felt so comfortable working with him to design the perfect piece of art to put on my body. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. The work and its artists are amazing.

Alberto did my tattoo, he took time to understand what I wanted and killed it. Im very impressed with his work. My husband and coworkers are planning to get work done with him. Atmosphere is great and welcoming. It definitely didnt feel like I walked in a drug infested house. The staff is friendly. Definitely going back for future work.

So I went to a free event this parlor had and it was a complete waist of time, I know the event was about "peace and love" but they could not even own up to their mistake. So the event was from 12pm-8...
So I went to a free event this parlor had and it was a complete waist of time, I know the event was about "peace and love" but they could not even own up to their mistake. So the event was from 12pm-8pm they had preset tattoos to choose from and that was basically all the information they gave aside from what was needed to get in. We arrived at 10:40 the line was long but not awful, at around 11:40ish they came out and did their walk with the crowd and cheered to post to instagram. So 12 doors open and the first group goes in, then a second group about 1hr ,there was no system or accountability, peoples friends showed up an hours later and hopped right in with them.(Now not many complained since we would all get seen since we were there right?) The line moved up once again and they came out and did a full count, the guy said we are going to be over 200 and kept counting. That was the last time any of there people came outside to actually acknowledge the crowd personally. A video guy came out again sometime before 4pm. At 4pm we made it to the door wait time between groups was 2 hours which made no sense what so ever. When we got to the front the customers we made markers with were still just sitting in the hall way. We saw a handful with actual tattoos, we made it to the corner before the door 6pm and did not move again after that, they "ran out of materials" at 7:20pm which if they had counted of planned they would have known.... oh wait they did count and could have gone at 12pm to get more supplies. A few people got angry towards the end waiting all day and then they say "we only have supplies left for 27 peopl" Not an apology in sight and then they gave out vouchers for if you spend 100 you get the free one from the event or 20% any other tattoo. WTF!!!! Why would i give them my business after that experience? Then come to find out through facebook people who got in had extras added, what is the point of preset rules if you cant follow them yourself. This is a shady parlor and the two artists involved should have handled it way better than this, they also keep deleting facebook comments and instagram comments that are negative on this matter so just shows even more what kind of people they are.

I came here for a free tattoo event. I waited in line from 10am until 7:30pm. I feel like there was absolutely no consideration in the fact that they didn't have some kind of system. I expected a big turn out as it was but then by 7:2pm I was told that there was only 27 people going next and that was the cut off. There was like a good 40 people in front me so that wasn't going to happen. I wish I would have been told earlier. Some consideration would have been nice since I wasted my entire day for nothing. Definitely won't come back to this place and I won't recommend to my friends. My review is mostly based on the fact that they had no proper system and especially no consideration of my time. Honestly go to hybrid in Woodbridge. They have great work!

Terrible. My tattoo is awful and I wasted my money. The lines are crooked and the shading is spotty. Would not recommend this tattoo shop to anyone.

My tattoo artist Aaron Garcia was so professional and so helpful when it came to designing my piece.
