If you're looking for somewhere with professional staff, then go elsewhere. I called for a simple piercing, confirmed with the shop that it was okay to come in, and that they had time to do it before closing. I got there in less than ten minutes, and they then told me it was too late, and were completely rude. So, I left a review on their Facebook page, and afterwards I have been cursed at, privately messaged and cursed at by "fans" of the establishment (I'm assuming they know the workers on a personal level). I'm a business owner, and I have NEVER in my life seen such a trashy, rude, immature group of "tattoo artists" in my life. Because the shop was so angry I left them a negative review, I've had to block numerous "fans" of theirs. I tried reaching out to their main branch in NJ, and received no reply. AVOID this shop at all costs, because if you don't like the customer service or the piercing/tattoo, and dare to say it publicly, you WILL be verbally attacked. Read Less

Just went and got my BB-8 tattoo there. The price was perfect, and the staff was very kind and wonderful to me, the entire time I was spazing and twitching. I stood around for about 5 minutes before anyone addressed me. I finally got to speak to someone, told them what I wanted, and they went to a big guy in the back to get him to do it. The artist was incredible. She was open to explaining everything to me, patient with me, sensitive to any discomfort, and very very very clean and sanitary! All single-use needle-cartridges, they open it in front of you, and you watch them set up and sanitize the station before you begin! And the artwork she did for me (a quill pen running from my chest to bicep) is gorgeous! Tons of compliments. Her rates are by far some of the best in the area, to build costumer trust, and I would absolutely recommend Kiss of Ink Lynchburg to anyone interested. I will be going back! Read Less

Got my nipples pierced here while I was visiting Lynchburg because it was half the price compared to the shops where I live, in Blacksburg. After one week, my left barbell seemed to be engulfed by my nipple. I went to one of the shops (where I know the piercer is knowledgeable) and he informed me that the guy went too deep on the left one, causing my piercings to be two different sizes. The left is 5/8 and my right is 1/2. This is very discouraging after I contemplated for years to get it done, and now I can't even buy jewelry at ease. Don't go here for nipple piercings. Read Less

I had three tattoos done by Pauline. She did a great job on my heart and paw print. The tattoo I have a problem with is my galaxy one. According to everyone and most importantly myself it looks like a huge bruise. . I traveled to FarmVille just to solve this issue to talk to the Owner of Kiss of ink. Today Pauline touched up the ink I got in June. The original tattoo was done really well - she totally got what I was looking for, took my ideas, and turned out an awesome design. Today was the touchup when she improved the tattoo even more by adding some new color and shading. I am even happier now. I don't know of another local artist who offers the touchup service - it's the best! The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because it's so hard to get some of her time; there are no appointments and she's really busy. I can't recommend this shop enough! The staff was super friendly and helpful, without the attitude a lot of tattoo artists have. Pauline was hilarious and made me feel very comfortable for a potentially uncomfortable session (upper ribcage). i went in for my birthday knowing that i wanted ink, and piercings. i showed Russ the flashes i had and kinda how i wanted them combined and when he came back with the drawing, i was in love with it. i gave him a lot of creative freedom, and love love love what he came up with. the tattoo was perfectly placed and very well done. i will be coming back to have him do my memorial piece and finish my sleeve as well as any more pieces i come up with. when i was done with the tattoo, i went for more pain and got both my tragus done. I have two tattoos; one done at Caspian's and one done at Kiss of Ink. A friend of mine told me that Kiss of Ink had better pricing and that the artists did good work. My first tattoo is small, about an inch or two in diameter, and it cost me $80 plus tip at Caspian's. The second tattoo is a tribal crossing my shoulders and extending just below the shoulder blades (about 18"x6"). It cost me $150 plus tip at Kiss of Ink. I'm sure you can see which one had better pricing.Pauline did my tribal. I brought in a custom design for her to use. It took about half an hour to prep and line up the stencil. I really appreciate her effort to line it up as perfectly as possible. The tattoo itself took a total of about two hours. It is clean and sharp and looks amazing.The inside of the shop isn't anything particularly special. It's pretty bare, but clean.They only so first come first serve walk-ins. It's a little inconvenient, but the price and high quality of work is definitely worth it.The only thing I wasn't a fan of is the fact that the workers vape in the shop. I just don't like the smell of vapes, but as far as negatives go, it's a pretty small one. Read Less
