I showed up today at 2:45 and was told both of the free tattoo artists didn't have time to do a basic line work tattoo. Showed back up at 5, only to see the same tattoo artists still doing absolutely nothing. During my visit, I heard the piercer scream "fuck customer service." I understand that today was a Sunday but deliberately turning down business is absolutely ridiculous. I have entirely too many body modifications to buy that they didn't have time. Seriously not impressed.

I got my first tattoo here just yesterday and I don't think it could have gone any better. I went in totally blind, not sure how this was gonna work, but Jonn was extremely kind and helped me and my friend understand the tattooing process, healing methods, etc. perfectly. To top it all off- the cost is amazingly affordable compared to what I've heard others had to pay. I got a 5-ish inch tattoo for only $70, and their base rate is $60. Definitely coming back here for my second.

This is my second time at Caspian. I visited a few months ago because the ball screw on my septum kept falling out and I needed a replacement. Can't remember the name of the guy who helped me choose, but he was super nice. I think he had a beard? I'm so bad at names, but okay with faces.Anyway, I was feeling impulsive two days ago and ended up back at Caspian. I wanted to do something fun! I had just come from a great business meeting with new opportunities and I wanted to keep that good feeling going~ How better to do that than to get your adrenaline pumping! To the right of the plaza is a vape shop. I don't vape, but I've been tempted. I asked a friend if I should or get a new piercing and he reminded me that I was having stomach issues and needed to not ingest anything that would mess me up. I decided on a piercing, but only if it was under $30. Yep yep. Didn't go the way I had planned.I walk in and I'm greeted by a pierced named Ariel... My name is Ursula. Ariel, Ursula, the Little Mermaid. Wild, I know. I tell her I want a conch piercing in my right ear. I've gotten it pierced in both ears twice in the past, but they always ended up rejecting because of my impatience. She gives me the rundown on piercings and shows me some nice jewelry. The cheapest is $45 and I know I said I wouldn't go over $30, but my impulsivity was out of bounds that day.While I'm filing out the paperwork, I peep her getting set up in the back room. She's placing chux (underpads) on a portable surgical table and sterilizing the piercing in an autoclave. I love it already.She calls me into the back and tells me what she's gonna do. We have a little convo about how we got our names (not Little Mermaid related) while she preps my ear with alcohol and iodine. Ear gets pierced, jewelry is popped in, et voila! I'm back to my 2012 self!She was such a sweetheart and the piercing was virtually painless. I purchased some salt spray and tipped her. As soon as this heals, I'll be headed back to Lynchburg for another. Thanks, Ariel!

I'm in town exploring new places. Wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip across country. While waiting for my consultation, a rather large male employee decided it would be wise to berate another employee (John) behind his back about John's political beliefs. Very unprofessional!! Then, he started getting louder as the blue-haired girl running the cashier just smiled, as he decided to let his views about politics and the President be known, quite rudely I might add. Again, very unprofessional. If I'd wanted to hear politics and the beliefs of an ignoramus, I could have just remained in my hotel room watching the news. I vote for a business with my hard-earned dollars, needless to say, I voted NO! I'm not giving my money to a business that hasn't got the sense to keep their mouth shut and just do their job. This guy should be fired, and re-educated in the ways of business. I walked out and I was able to find another shop in town that did great work, the same day, did it cheaper, and knew enough to keep their mouth shut and just work. I'd suggest you do the same.

Just took my daughter in to have her nosed pierced. Caspians is by far the cleanest, nicest, most professional shop I have ever been in. I have been putting off getting any more tattoos or ink since moving to VA 10 years ago. But my daughter wanted her nose pierced for Christmas so after research and LOTS of recommendations I took her to Caspians. THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED!! I will be taking her back in March for her birthday to get our matching tattoos and then for my tattoo on my shoulder I’ve wanted for quite a while.

Also i have been to some other studios around here and they all were nasty buildings, Smokey, and definitely not sanitary. Caspian is sanitary and all the staff are amazing!

I have been going to Caspian since 1998, have had piercings and tattoos done there, and I have never been dissatisfied. The staff here are professional, polite, kind, and sincerely care that you are happy with your finished work. They listen to your requests, and offer honest, and professional opinions. Rob has done the last 5 of the 10 tattoos I have had done, and I could not ask for a better artist. Every person there will treat you with respect as soon as you walk in the door. The shop is clean, the equipment sterile, and the staff fabulous. For any type of body art, I recommend Caspian with zero reservations.

Rob is a superb tattoo artist, and Ariel is the best piercer I have ever come in contact with. You truly do get what you pay for, and with Caspian, you get the safest, most accurate piercings. My friend and I went there tonight after making an appointment last night. First off, we were not told when we made our appointments that the tattoo artist that we were booked with only did black ink tattoos, despite the fact that you have to put down $35 to even book the appointment, not all of which goes to your tattoo. Then when we arrived tonight for our appointments with John he was quite rude to us and constantly talked to us like we were complete idiots and had no idea what we were talking about despite the fact that we both already have tattoos. He then proceeded to tell me he couldn't even do what I want (even though I have talked to other tattoo artists and they have confirmed it can be done) so I lost my $35. My friend did wind up getting a tattoo and it was done well and quickly, but John did NOT make it an enjoyable experience and we will not being returning for another tattoo.

Anyone knows when getting tattooed you like to be in a good & chill atmosphere that is very clean and professional well today I experinced that when getting my first tattoo from Caspians!!!:) Earlier in the week I got my second hole on my ear lobes pierced by Ariel, she was super knowledgeable on the jewelry and piercing sites, also she was very sweet!! Today upon my arival Garrett presented me with a beautiful drawing of my ideas! He made sure I was comfotable during whole tattoo and cattered to my musical needs also. The whole staff there seemed very friendly and happy :) most definately will be returning for other tattoos and piercings in the future!The prices may seem a little far fetched when you hear them but well worth it for the finished artwork! Id highly suggest Caspians!

The only place I would go for a tattoo or piercing in Lynchburg! I got a tattoo from Rob a few months ago and it was beautiful. I still have to go in to get it retouched, but I expect that to be just as professional as the original tattoo. I recently went in to get my rook pierced. The piercing itself was wonderful. I was taken care of quickly and professionally and the entire experience was much less painful than I expected. But I was informed just to clean my piercing with warm water, which I did for a few days. But, of course, my ear swelled up and was very painful, so I had to take to the internet to see that I should probably clean it with water and sea salt, which helped almost immediately. So, overall, a good experience!

Love this place, only place in lynchburg ill get a tattoo done. And almost all my piercings are from here. The prices are great for the quality of the tattoos.

From everything I’ve seen online, they do amazing work and are clean here, but everything else about the place is horrible. Walked in and talked to the guy upfront, after one conversation I knew I would never walk in that place again. Sorry excuse for customer service that’s for sure....

Just took my daughter in to have her nosed pierced. Caspians is by far the cleanest, nicest, most professional shop I have ever been in. I have been putting off getting any more tattoos or ink since moving to VA 10 years ago. But my daughter wanted her nose pierced for Christmas so after research and LOTS of recommendations I took her to Caspians. THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED!! I will be taking her back in March for her birthday to get our matching tattoos and then for my tattoo on my shoulder I’ve wanted for quite a while.

Also i have been to some other studios around here and they all were nasty buildings, Smokey, and definitely not sanitary. Caspian is sanitary and all the staff are amazing!

I have been going to Caspian since 1998, have had piercings and tattoos done there, and I have never been dissatisfied. The staff here are professional, polite, kind, and sincerely care that you are happy with your finished work. They listen to your requests, and offer honest, and professional opinions. Rob has done the last 5 of the 10 tattoos I have had done, and I could not ask for a better artist. Every person there will treat you with respect as soon as you walk in the door. The shop is clean, the equipment sterile, and the staff fabulous. For any type of body art, I recommend Caspian with zero reservations.

I'd recommend coming here and figuring out what artist fits your type of ink you want. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Lynchburg

My friend and I went there tonight after making an appointment last night. First off, we were not told when we made our appointments that the tattoo artist that we were booked with only did black ink tattoos, despite the fact that you have to put down $35 to even book the appointment, not all of which goes to your tattoo. Then when we arrived tonight for our appointments with John he was quite rude to us and constantly talked to us like we were complete idiots and had no idea what we were talking about despite the fact that we both already have tattoos. He then proceeded to tell me he couldn't even do what I want (even though I have talked to other tattoo artists and they have confirmed it can be done) so I lost my $35. My friend did wind up getting a tattoo and it was done well and quickly, but John did NOT make it an enjoyable experience and we will not being returning for another tattoo.

Anyone knows when getting tattooed you like to be in a good & chill atmosphere that is very clean and professional well today I experinced that when getting my first tattoo from Caspians!!!:) Earlier in the week I got my second hole on my ear lobes pierced by Ariel, she was super knowledgeable on the jewelry and piercing sites, also she was very sweet!! Today upon my arival Garrett presented me with a beautiful drawing of my ideas! He made sure I was comfotable during whole tattoo and cattered to my musical needs also. The whole staff there seemed very friendly and happy :) most definately will be returning for other tattoos and piercings in the future!The prices may seem a little far fetched when you hear them but well worth it for the finished artwork! Id highly suggest Caspians!

The only place I would go for a tattoo or piercing in Lynchburg! I got a tattoo from Rob a few months ago and it was beautiful. I still have to go in to get it retouched, but I expect that to be just as professional as the original tattoo. I recently went in to get my rook pierced. The piercing itself was wonderful. I was taken care of quickly and professionally and the entire experience was much less painful than I expected. But I was informed just to clean my piercing with warm water, which I did for a few days. But, of course, my ear swelled up and was very painful, so I had to take to the internet to see that I should probably clean it with water and sea salt, which helped almost immediately. So, overall, a good experience!

Love this place, only place in lynchburg ill get a tattoo done. And almost all my piercings are from here. The prices are great for the quality of the tattoos.
