I would give this place's piercing a zero start it it was an option. Firstly, they recommend the H2Ocean spray on their aftercare instruction. It is simply weird to recommend this specific product. Usually piercing places tell you to get a saline spray of any brand and it works just fine. My ear had strong reaction to the sea salt in the product they recommended and was swollen so so bad on the third day after it was pierced.Secondly, I am mad that their "professional" piercer does not even know that angles matter a lot, especially for helix piercing. I didn't find out about this until I went to a good piercing place in New York City, and the piercer from NYC was shocked how titled my cartilge piercing angle was. If I never went to an actual professional piercer while I was traveling in New York just to make sure, I could end up getting surgeries.Overall, it was a horrible and painful experience. I had to take it out and got my ear repierced at an actual decent place. Just cuz some guy thinks he knows all about piercing and wears some black gloves while doing piercing for some other people previously does not make him professional. NEVER EVER go there for piercing.

It was super quick and painless and he was fun and easy to talk to while getting it done! I definitely recommend, and when the time is right for my next piercing I will be back! 10/10

I had the pleasure of working with Nina on my upper arm piece. I asked for a general idea and then let her do her job. She's an artist - I'm inking my body and need to trust and respect what she's able to do. If she suggested something I didn't like - she would respect. But, part of choosing her lied in the fact that she has a wonderful vision and saw how this piece was to be integrated, long term, with others. I will gladly post a photo when it's fully healed. I will say, compared to my other pieces, it's healed better and faster and I'm thrilled with that. Nina and I are already in talks for my next big piece, because I won't put any black shading piece in anybody else's hands.

After one session, the artist, Nina, decided she didn't want to work on this original piece anymore and left me with a huge cover up project. I tried resolving this offline by speaking to the owners, Mike and Jenni, who tried to convince the artist to finish the piece, but she refused. When I asked for my money back, the owners then tried to turn it around and said that I was at fault here. All I did was ask the artist how the rest of this was going to turn out, (only because I never saw a final version)These guys are are nightmare to work with. Unfriendly and unprofessional. PS, I even tipped the artist after our one and only session because I was so excited and appreciative of their time and effort. It was devastating to hear that they wouldn't finish this piece.

I haven't been able to get out my nose ring for over a week and it had became very agitated. From a recommendation; I went to The Body Gallery 2 and met Michael. Wonderful guy, so nice and with one simple pop- he got it out! I thought he missed, but nope. Professional, educational, nice and quick. 5/5 stars. Will be going back for future piercings.

I normally don't write reviews, but I do have to give a huge shoutout to Corey for helping us with our BFF tattoos. We came to him with a very basic idea of what we wanted, and he was able to help with tattoo placement, make a design, and then help choose some colors to go with it. We are both very pleased with how well it turned out, the price point was very reasonable, scheduling was a breeze, and he was way under the estimated time allotment. Would recommend Corey to anyone looking to get some new work done or previous work touched up.

I followed Nina from the Sterling location and was glad to see that this shop is also excellent!! Great location in the heart of downtown Leesburg with plenty of things to do nearby. Nina was, as always, top notch, professional, friendly, and great to work with. The other artists and staff here were also extremely welcoming and fun to chat with - really enjoyed my time. The establishment was clean, well organized, and well run. As a client who spent a few full days at BG2, I really enjoyed the peace and serenity of "Nina's Office" in the rear of the bldg. Looking forward to coming back in the future for more work.Thanks Nina and BG2!

Today, the process was very professional and straightforward, and my artist Tim made me feel so comfortable!! I got a cartilage/helix piercing from here and i had such a great experience! The workers are so kind and make you feel incredibly comfortable. The place is clean and also has a really cool vibe. The piercing was done in a little separate section away from the tattoo chairs, and everything was sterile & in bags. Anthony did a great job and explained the procedure every step of the way. I started with a ring, which was surprising because I expected a bar, but I am very happy with every aspect of it. The only difference really is that the ring can be harder to clean than a bar, but it looks so much cuter so it’s worth it :)
I highly reccommend this place and if i get more piercings, I will be coming back.

(i got it on my subclavian). on the phone, he was fairly rude: "that doesn't make any sense! what are you even talking about?" when i was trying to explain how long it took for him to do my tat last time. i don't know what his problem was, he was truly worked up over nothing needing a touch up because it wasn't superb the first time around. just a shitty experience getting my first tattoo, probably won't come back since i got the same vibe from everyone else there when i asked to use their phone to call my fiancé to pick me up. they were closing up the shop about 45 mins early (closes at 8pm) in such a hurry to leave around 7:15pm, giving me death glares just because i was holding them up. it was such a burden to wait 2 extra minutes to help out a customer, huh? very judgmental ladies, unwelcoming vibes. 1/10 would not recommend :-((((

I have so many things I want Kelsi to design on me and she makes me feel like anything within reason is possible! She has never had a negative attitude about anything. She will be straight up with me if one of my ideas would be better executed by another tattoo artist. I love and appreciate that. I ask her so many questions... too and she's so patient with me. She also checks in with you while she's tattooing to make sure you're ok. I have had one tattoo from Kelsi and my next one from her is booked to start just a few weeks from now! This was my second time here! Both experiences were amazing. My first experience was when my mother in law got her first tattoo. She was so nervous, but #tattoo_ant put her at ease. She now has a beautiful heart on her shoulder. I was so impressed with his work amd personality. I told him I would be back for a cover up. A little over a year later I returned. This time with my cousin. She was looking for a very meaningful peice on her wrist. Nina tattooed her and another beautiful peice has been done. Not to forget my cover up. It is better than I imagined. Even brought tears to my eyes. After 9 other tattoos I have found my go to shop! I would recommend this shop to the experienced tattoo receivers to the first timers.

Absolutely fantastic experience here! I went and saw Kim for my first tattoo. She is incredibly nice and immediately made me feel comfortable. I've had two tattoos done at this location, both simple and fairly small and done at a walk-in. Misty did my loteria card tattoo on my thigh in August 2015. She was professional, gave great advice on some questions I had about the design and provided good information on after care. In April 2016 I had a semi colon flower tattoo done by Anthony and he was also really fantastic. Friendly, professional and when I emailed him with a question in regards to my tattoo the next day he responded promptly. I know when I go to get more work done this is the place I'll come to.

I wanted a tattoo for Mother's Day and contacted Anthony with a picture of what I was looking for. He added his own touch and gave some good advise about lettering over a couple of emails. He emailed the final picture and it was a "go!" The morning before my appointment, he emailed me stating he was not well and would not be in the shop but had arranged for another employee to do the tattoo. He could have just canceled but he didn't. I met Erika a couple of hours later and in 20 minutes I had my tattoo! I couldn't be happier with the design by Anthony and the execution of the design by Erika! They are both awesome! Almost two weeks later and it has healed beautifully! I highly recommend them. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and they care about making the customer happy.

Really enjoyed my experience with the Body Gallery and would definitely recommend to others! Erika tattooed me. She was very warm and professional. What impressed me most was her attention to detail on my tattoo. Just when I thought it looked awesome, she went back to add tiny details that made the piece pop. Now I have art that literally makes me smile every time I look down at it. As well the rest of the staff was warm and professional. You can tell they both like and care about what they do. Great atmosphere and vibes. I was comfortable enough to almost fall asleep while getting inked. The Body Gallery is well worth your time and money!

My husband and I looked around for awhile before we found The Body Gallery on Yelp. We looked online and decided that we really like Anthony's work and luckily he was able to get us in the next week. We get to the shop and are impressed by how clean and laid back the atmosphere is. Anthony was really patient and answered all the questions we had and made sure our tattoos were exactly what we wanted. Kim was also working that night and after talking to her and seeing some of her artwork and the piece she was working on for another customer there, I would recommend her as well. Overall we had a great experience and I think my husband will definitely be back if he wants more work done in the future.

The Body Gallery has expanded and opened a new branch in historic Leesburg, VA! This is a great location, right on King Street above the Downtown Saloon that has wonderful, friendly, talented artists. Not only can you come get a tattoo or piercing, this location also carries a selection of motorcycle gear and apparel, including helmets, vests, jackets, and chaps.I've been a customer at the Body Gallery in Sterling and have continued to bring my business to one of the best tattoo shops in Northern Virginia. I had a great time talking to one artist and had a "small world," chat with her while Jenni worked on my tattoo. This shop is clean and has a very comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely continue to recommend The Body Gallery to all my friends and family!

I would give this place's piercing a zero start it it was an option. Firstly, they recommend the H2Ocean spray on their aftercare instruction. It is simply weird to recommend this specific product. Usually piercing places tell you to get a saline spray of any brand and it works just fine. My ear had strong reaction to the sea salt in the product they recommended and was swollen so so bad on the third day after it was pierced.Secondly, I am mad that their "professional" piercer does not even know that angles matter a lot, especially for helix piercing. I didn't find out about this until I went to a good piercing place in New York City, and the piercer from NYC was shocked how titled my cartilge piercing angle was. If I never went to an actual professional piercer while I was traveling in New York just to make sure, I could end up getting surgeries.Overall, it was a horrible and painful experience. I had to take it out and got my ear repierced at an actual decent place. Just cuz some guy thinks he knows all about piercing and wears some black gloves while doing piercing for some other people previously does not make him professional. NEVER EVER go there for piercing.

I had the pleasure of working with Nina on my upper arm piece. I asked for a general idea and then let her do her job. She's an artist - I'm inking my body and need to trust and respect what she's able to do. If she suggested something I didn't like - she would respect. But, part of choosing her lied in the fact that she has a wonderful vision and saw how this piece was to be integrated, long term, with others. I will gladly post a photo when it's fully healed. I will say, compared to my other pieces, it's healed better and faster and I'm thrilled with that. Nina and I are already in talks for my next big piece, because I won't put any black shading piece in anybody else's hands.

After one session, the artist, Nina, decided she didn't want to work on this original piece anymore and left me with a huge cover up project. I tried resolving this offline by speaking to the owners, Mike and Jenni, who tried to convince the artist to finish the piece, but she refused. When I asked for my money back, the owners then tried to turn it around and said that I was at fault here. All I did was ask the artist how the rest of this was going to turn out, (only because I never saw a final version)These guys are are nightmare to work with. Unfriendly and unprofessional. PS, I even tipped the artist after our one and only session because I was so excited and appreciative of their time and effort. It was devastating to hear that they wouldn't finish this piece.

I normally don't write reviews, but I do have to give a huge shoutout to Corey for helping us with our BFF tattoos. We came to him with a very basic idea of what we wanted, and he was able to help with tattoo placement, make a design, and then help choose some colors to go with it. We are both very pleased with how well it turned out, the price point was very reasonable, scheduling was a breeze, and he was way under the estimated time allotment. Would recommend Corey to anyone looking to get some new work done or previous work touched up.

I followed Nina from the Sterling location and was glad to see that this shop is also excellent!! Great location in the heart of downtown Leesburg with plenty of things to do nearby. Nina was, as always, top notch, professional, friendly, and great to work with. The other artists and staff here were also extremely welcoming and fun to chat with - really enjoyed my time. The establishment was clean, well organized, and well run. As a client who spent a few full days at BG2, I really enjoyed the peace and serenity of "Nina's Office" in the rear of the bldg. I got a cartilage/helix piercing from here and i had such a great experience! The workers are so kind and make you feel incredibly comfortable. The place is clean and also has a really cool vibe. The piercing was done in a little separate section away from the tattoo chairs, and everything was sterile & in bags. Anthony did a great job and explained the procedure every step of the way. I started with a ring, which was surprising because I expected a bar, but I am very happy with every aspect of it. The only difference really is that the ring can be harder to clean than a bar, but it looks so much cuter so it’s worth it :)
I highly reccommend this place and if i get more piercings, I will be coming back.

(i got it on my subclavian). on the phone, he was fairly rude: "that doesn't make any sense! what are you even talking about?" when i was trying to explain how long it took for him to do my tat last time. i don't know what his problem was, he was truly worked up over nothing needing a touch up because it wasn't superb the first time around. just a shitty experience getting my first tattoo, probably won't come back since i got the same vibe from everyone else there when i asked to use their phone to call my fiancé to pick me up. they were closing up the shop about 45 mins early (closes at 8pm) in such a hurry to leave around 7:15pm, giving me death glares just because i was holding them up. it was such a burden to wait 2 extra minutes to help out a customer, huh? very judgmental ladies, unwelcoming vibes. 1/10 would not recommend :-((((

This was my second time here! Both experiences were amazing. My first experience was when my mother in law got her first tattoo. She was so nervous, but #tattoo_ant put her at ease. She now has a beautiful heart on her shoulder. I was so impressed with his work amd personality. I told him I would be back for a cover up. A little over a year later I returned. This time with my cousin. She was looking for a very meaningful peice on her wrist. Nina tattooed her and another beautiful peice has been done. Not to forget my cover up. It is better than I imagined. Even brought tears to my eyes. After 9 other tattoos I have found my go to shop! I would recommend this shop to the experienced tattoo receivers to the first timers.

I've had two tattoos done at this location, both simple and fairly small and done at a walk-in. Misty did my loteria card tattoo on my thigh in August 2015. She was professional, gave great advice on some questions I had about the design and provided good information on after care. In April 2016 I had a semi colon flower tattoo done by Anthony and he was also really fantastic. Friendly, professional and when I emailed him with a question in regards to my tattoo the next day he responded promptly. I know when I go to get more work done this is the place I'll come to.

I wanted a tattoo for Mother's Day and contacted Anthony with a picture of what I was looking for. He added his own touch and gave some good advise about lettering over a couple of emails. He emailed the final picture and it was a "go!" The morning before my appointment, he emailed me stating he was not well and would not be in the shop but had arranged for another employee to do the tattoo. He could have just canceled but he didn't. I met Erika a couple of hours later and in 20 minutes I had my tattoo! I couldn't be happier with the design by Anthony and the execution of the design by Erika! They are both awesome! Almost two weeks later and it has healed beautifully! I highly recommend them. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly, and they care about making the customer happy.

Really enjoyed my experience with the Body Gallery and would definitely recommend to others! Erika tattooed me. She was very warm and professional. What impressed me most was her attention to detail on my tattoo. Just when I thought it looked awesome, she went back to add tiny details that made the piece pop. Now I have art that literally makes me smile every time I look down at it. As well the rest of the staff was warm and professional. You can tell they both like and care about what they do. Great atmosphere and vibes. I was comfortable enough to almost fall asleep while getting inked. The Body Gallery is well worth your time and money!

My husband and I looked around for awhile before we found The Body Gallery on Yelp. We looked online and decided that we really like Anthony's work and luckily he was able to get us in the next week. We get to the shop and are impressed by how clean and laid back the atmosphere is. Anthony was really patient and answered all the questions we had and made sure our tattoos were exactly what we wanted. Kim was also working that night and after talking to her and seeing some of her artwork and the piece she was working on for another customer there, I would recommend her as well. Overall we had a great experience and I think my husband will definitely be back if he wants more work done in the future.

This is a great location, right on King Street above the Downtown Saloon that has wonderful, friendly, talented artists. Not only can you come get a tattoo or piercing, this location also carries a selection of motorcycle gear and apparel, including helmets, vests, jackets, and chaps.I've been a customer at the Body Gallery in Sterling and have continued to bring my business to one of the best tattoo shops in Northern Virginia. I had a great time talking to one artist and had a "small world," chat with her while Jenni worked on my tattoo. This shop is clean and has a very comfortable atmosphere. I will definitely continue to recommend The Body Gallery to all my friends and family!
