Are you always going to get exactly what you bring in on a sheet of paper? Hell no. You can’t just copy a sheet of paper onto your skin. These guys aren’t going to jerk you around and put something on you that’s going to look terrible in a few years as you age. I had an awesome tattoo experience with Demon Dean. He's very patient when I wanted to change the stencil a few times. He's very professional and with it being my 14th tattoo it was my first experience being able to watch TV while I was getting tattooed. Went in to get a tattoo with my best friend for a walk in .artist wanted to charge 200 for a small quote and a outline not even a finished tattoo about the size of a hand . Once again, Silas Baker kills it! He is the all-time Tatty-Blast Master! This time it wasn't me getting Zippity-Zapped, but I was there for support of a friend.I have been going here since I was about 18.5 years old for tattoos (Well over 5 years) and have been more than pleased each and every time. I have a full sleeve done by Silas Baker (piece by piece over approximately a 3 year span).My friend had a 2PM appointment. When we arrived he was blown away with the design Silas came up with. He got a Medusa piece with a flower and sword. The piece is Traditional Style with a more lenient color palate.The ambiance and decor inside Silas' room is extremely chill. He has a room filled with art and cool trinkets. He plays relaxing music the entire time and always carries on good conversation.I don't know if I'll ever go to anyone else for tattoos besides Silas ever again. Jesse is my go to guy for my tattoos. I love going to Rock Steady Tattoo shop. One of the pieces was a family piece he did on myself and 3 other members of my family. Another piece he did was on me and my best friend and tonight he started on my half sleeve. The studio is always clean, the staff is always professional and friendly and above all, honest. My original vision wasn't possible because of the size of the piece, the piece I wanted, and a tattoo already on the canvas. However, Jesse came up with an alternative plan that will still bring my vision to life, in a completely unexpected fashion and I love how it is shaping up. He also connected my husband with another artist for his next piece. I love how the artists will refer to one another who is best suited to each style of work. You can't go wrong with this place. I had a walk-in helix piercing as well as both lobes repierced.  Cail was my piercer and did a perfect job with placement, great technique (no pain!) and hygiene, and a great job explaining procedures and aftercare.  No swelling until the fifth day which is normal but it's not infected or painful.  Highly recommend. I have been going to Rock Steady since 2011, my artist since day one has been Will - and I can promise for as long as I live here, it will always be Will. Bottom line - he is insane talented, his work speaks for itself. We are currently working on a full back suit, and it has been an incredible experience - I have actually considered these sessions therapeutic in a sense. Besides that, which in my opinion is just as important - is decency and respect to the client. Will and the entire staff have basically made me feel like part of their tattoo shop family - the entire crew there is seriously rad and down to earth - super friendly and absolutely hilarious! I also love the Shop Manager Joey b/c he is always there if we need something, he is super organized, and welcoming to every client I have witnessed coming through the doors. A friend of mine and I were looking to get tattoos and shopped around the area. We ended up deciding on Rocksteady because when we went in we liked the atmosphere and the staff was extremely friendly. I showed them what we wanted and got a quote around the price I was looking for. The next day we went back and I got Shelly to take care of my tattoo. She was really amazing. She redrew it with a bit of a style flair I liked and suggested some modifications that we talked about and agreed on. She was really friendly and professional during the tattooing. Went in a few weeks ago, as a walk-in, and got both my nipples pierced. We were greeted promptly and with excellent customer service. The girl that did my piercings, Shelly, was polite and very professional. She definitely knew what she was doing. She explained to me step by step, gave great aftercare instructions and we were in and out in 30 minutes or less.
