If I could give this 0 stars I would. My friend and I both got pierced here by an older lady who as soon as we walked through the door made us feel like an inconvenience. She marked the spot she was gonna pierce yet still somehow was off! My Medusa was pierced crooked and has been irritated since then. My friend got a basic cartilage piercing and it got majorly infected, wasn't pierced where it was marked and we had to get the gentleman that worked there to take it out. Only because the same woman who pierced it said she wasn't going to take it out and practically ran away. When my friend finally changed her nose ring out at a different shop it came out as a V instead of an L. The man recognized the bad piercing and immediately knew who it was. I have only received piercings here so cannot really comment on the ink part.  The girls that do the piercings are so friendly and make you feel at ease while piercing you.  They are fast and efficient.  I totally recommend this place for piercings. Again, cannot comment on the ink side. Read Less

Went with my nieces to get their tongue pierced. Wish I got names of the two employees that helped us. The guy that went over the paperwork and took our money was pretty cool. He made us laugh with his sense of humor (it helped some with my nieces nerves). The lady that did the piercings was pretty fun. She had good energy and made the process easy as she walked us through the steps she was taking. We were in and out in 15 minutes (the time we walked in and out). I recommend them fully! I went in to get some H2Ocean after piercing spray for my new piercing I had just gotten (at a different shop that didn’t sell this product), and they became nosy as to why I wanted to purchase this product so I began to explain why and they completely tore me apart as to why I did what I did, and cut me down for it for about 20 minutes solely about how poorly my piercing was done. I did not even ask for an opinion, but they asserted their feelings based on the fact that I did not go to them to get my piercing done. Not very professional, nor personable. I've gotten a few tattoos here and they have all been pretty simple things but they all look amazing. City Limits is the ONLY place that I will let pierce me. The staff has been around for forever and they are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. If you are looking for someone to hold your hand and give you a tissue you won't find it here, but then again if that's what you need then maybe you shouldn't be there. Read Less

They are very rude if they realize you’re a lesbian or Hispanic. Waited an hour just so my tattoo artist could have a conversation thru out my whole tattoo. Told him I didn’t love it. I even had to pay for the tattoo FIRST!!!!!! And when I told him I didn’t like it he raised his voice at me and told me to sit down so he could fix it. These people aren’t where you want to go. I got my nose pierced here, two of my friends also got other piercings, and our experience was amazing! They were very professional and answered any questions we had. The person who greeted us at the door was very snarky, and he was the one to do my sister's tattoo. He claimed that he doesn't really like to do other people's artwork (like the artwork which my sister painted herself). So being the kind person that she is, she let him take his own spin on it. It came out okay, but he was incredibly pissy, snarky, and sarcastic most of the time. He was also really aggressive with the machine and on the skin. My tattoo artist however had a quiet persona about him, but he definitely had his own vision for the work. He, too, was also quite aggressive with the skin, and it seemed as if he was doing it as fast as he could. I do love the tattoo though, so no qualms about that. The rest of the employees there were really sweet, patient, and kind. It partly felt like a small party near the end of our visit. That was fun! Read Less

I've been going to City Limits for a long time but it had been a couple years since my last tattoo. The artist I had before no longer works there so I got Rashad for the tattoo my husband and I wanted. The whole staff was amazing in listening to what we wanted and gave great advice about the design we wanted and what could make it better. I'm so happy with Rashad's work!! My appointment was at noon with Rashaad, but after I waited for 30 minutes I went to the back to see him sleeping at his desk. Then when I returned 15 min later, he said give him a minute so he can order some Chinese food, so I left. no complaints.. I've gotten tattoos & a Monroe piercing & re piercing 3 times...I've taken friends here & I no otha ppl who go here..staff is professional.. its clean & everything seems sanitary.. I recommend this place for tatts &  piercings..parking sucks ass tho..cuz in front u have to park slanted in a tight parking lot or u can park in back..it gets real busy sum times too..but they do great work.
