Jayson Rulford did an amazing arm sleeve for me, He did two amazing arm sleeves on my husband and an awesome black and grey piece on his calf. I also got a tattoo on my right shoulder from him and a mash up collaboration piece done by Jays...on and DJ on my left leg up to my butt(full sleeve) that is a combo of new school and realistic which won two trophies at the Va Beach tattoo festival in Aug. I've got a piece done by DJ on my left calf also. My daughter got an awesome new school zombie kitty done by Jayson in remembrance for her grandfather and a piece done on her back by Ian. Bryant has done many piercings for her. We have all been extremely impressed and happy with the talented art that has been put on us and we proudly represent showing our pieces to people who are always impressed by the quality of our tattoos! This Artist is OUT-FREAKING-STANDING! He has made my ink come alive and with it being a piece that means so much to me and years of putting it together and trying to find the right artist...Well the man was found! Lightening in a bottle! First, let me say I'm a very picky person when it comes to tattoo studios and artist. I have over 40+ hours of work in various areas of my body. The amount of trust that goes into allowing someone to permently mark your body is something I have a hard time with, so needless to say I'm not the type of person who just lets ANYONE tattoo me (been there done that and it did not turn out well...lol) I was given a gift certificate to Tattoo Skills by a friend of mine who really... wanted to see me finish my sleeve, something I've put off for way too long. The gift certificate was the push I needed. I went by the shop to check the place out and was very please at the cleanliness and how friendly everyone was. After looking through some of the artist work and talking with Brian for 20 minutes about what I was looking for I booked an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised that appointment avaiability was just a couple weeks out not months. The morning of my appointment Brian had the drawing all ready to go. He verified that it was absolutely what I wanted and we got started. He set the entire table up in front of me. I watched him open every needle package and pour each container of ink. I, personally, like to watch table set up just so I have no doubts. Three hours later I had an awesomely detailed tattoo of Uncle Sam (you can see a picture of it in their photos). While I didn't get the pleasure to go into one of Jason's shops I did meet Jason at a tattoo convention in FL. Both my husband as I got tattoos from Jason and we love them. My husband a mechanical anchor and myself a skull cameo. Great experience super cool dude! He is going to give it to you straight no bullshit, but he will work with you to leave you with a great piece! We have no complaints and look forward to the opportunity to sit for him again.
