Paid a lot of money to get a tattoo removed and after 16 treatments it's still not gone. I was promised if I paid for 10 treatments they would treat it until it was gone. They then called me to say the machine was broken and they could no longer assist me. I would not recommend this place for tattoo removal. LOVED this place.  From the booking phone call to the rice krispie treat snack on the way out.  Had a facial with Lindsey, FABULOUS.  She listened to me, evaluated my skin, and tailored the facial to MY skins needs.  They use a picture machine (thingy) to aid in the eval of the skin and use it and its data to identify what you need now and in the future for your best skin.  The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I will definitely return! Honestly I'm not thrilled with Skin Renaissance, but I'm not sure what to make of it either.  It was my first experience with professional skincare, and I went in concerned with the lines under my eyes.  I had a great meeting with two different women with wonderful personalities and I enjoyed the experience, and ended up agreeing to Botox injections.  But they didn't work.  I mean, nothing happened.  So I went back in and was told that just happens sometimes.  No offer to recompensate, no nothing, I was simply out the money I spent on Botox.  I love the under eye cream I bought from her, and enjoyed the people there (especially the really funny receptionist!!) but the Botox didn't work and they just acted like "oh well."  She then talked to me about the brown spots on my face, which I'd already stated I wasn't concerned with, and the veins in my legs, which I'd already stated I wasn't concerned with.  By the time I left the second time I wasn't actually sure she wasn't just trying to upsell me.  I was a bit disappointed for sure. Julie Trask and her staff are amazing. I get continuous compliments on my appearance. Through laser treatments , peels, and skin Medica products that Julie recommended I have my skin has made a complete transformation. I had a photo imaging done 3 years ago and we compaired it to this years photo and more than half my damage has disappeared. It's amazing. I do get Botox and fillers for fine lines and wrinkles. No one can tell, I just get compliments on how young I look, and I never get guessed within 10 years of my age. At 47 years old, that is something to smile about. I have been a client of Julie Trask for many years. I am always getting complimented on how young I look! I have never been guessed within 10 of my actual age. I am 48 and get hit on by 20 year olds. ( not looking for that , but it happens) Julie has done laser on me, Botox, fillers, and prescribed a skin care regime I follow to the T. I look very natural and people comment that I have escaped aging. I am honest and say that I cheat mother nature. I've been going for tattoo removal here for a stubborn, and ugly, tattoo on my shoulder. I have had a very different experience than the prior review. When I came in for an assessment, they took notes on my tattoo and estimated that it would take 8 sessions to remove. My understanding is that blistering should stay at a minimum as that can result in scarring, and that the lasers break down the ink, which is then slowly carried away by the lymphatic system. I admit the progress is slow, but they told me that up front. Moreover, I am at session #9, and if it takes longer than their estimate, the remaining sessions are free of charge. There no incentive for them to provide ineffective treatment - they're as interested in getting your tattoo removed as you are. Be warned the removal is very painful. That's not their fault, that's just the process, and they give you stress balls to squeeze and count down the laser with you. They have always been professional, friendly and flexible (I had to cancel once about an hour beforehand because of flooding in my neighborhood). The best advice is don't get a tattoo. I bought a GROUPON for Laser Tattoo removal and I could not be more pleased with both the Customer Service and the professional services rendered. After the first treatment I waited about 3 months (They recommend no less than 6 weeks) to schedule my next appointment and I am glad that I did because the before and after results were and are dramatic. I can't wait to see the results in the coming weeks. As to the negative comments from Amy R, take them with a grain of salt. After reading her comments, I get the sense that she feels entitled to special treatment. A business, ANY Business, works on schedules and if someone makes an appointment and fails to show up, due to oversleeping, that appointment must be paid for. It is in the GROUPON agreement. Oh and just a small tip for you Amy, if you know that you are going to be working in the ER until 3am, don't set an early morning appointment, oversleep, and then expect to be rewarded with another FREE appointment and further expect to get any sympathy for your stupid decision. I had become aware of this business after purchasing a groupon. When I arrived (30 minutes before my appt. as asked) I ended up waiting until 30-45 minutes after the start time before I was seen. My interactions were with a younger blond haired women who was nice. I continued to receive laser treatments because it was a great deal. I got a discount for being a RN. They had also called and reschedule multiple appointments which was inconvenient. I bought an additional two groupons the next time I saw them. I used the first one no problem. I was with an older lady who was later seeing me (30+ min after my appt time), and did not leave the numbing cream on before she started laser, it was excruciating. I made my appointment for the second one (mind you they had plenty of open availability), and I missed it due to oversleeping. I work nights as a nurse in the ER, I got off at 330am and had an early morning appointment. I called later that day to let them know what had happened, and to see if I could reschedule. I ended up talking to a young snotty receptionist who kept asking me (over 4 times in one phone call) if I had read the groupon rules and stated I could make another appointment but that they were cashing in the groupon. I told her that I was a regular customer and asked if I could speak with the manager. Needless to say 2 weeks had gone by and  I hadn't gotten that phone call. I called multiple times and was told "Julie" was not available or would call back (which she never did). I emailed them one time and it was not returned. I had a friend call to ask to speak with a manager and pretend to have an issue following a treatment (on a day where I was told Julie was not in the office). Within 20 minutes she received a call back. At that point I had proof that I had been lied to and they were ignoring me. This place has terrible customer service and a rude receptionist. I was shocked they did not have the courtesy to call back a customer who had been going there for months. I made sure to tell my friends and fellow employees to never go to this place. Read Less

I am extremely pleased with the services at Skin Renaissance. Julie is knowledgable and very informative. She listens to you and makes recommendations without pressure. The previous facility I was going to had given me nearly triple the number of units that Julie had done and I have better results. I discovered then how it can vary place to place on how much they dilute their botox. Julie saved me hundreds of dollars. I just finished getting 3 treatments of the Matrix laser. I put it at a level 2 for pain and my fine lines and parenthesis around my mouth are gone. I am so pleased, it also removed the hyper pigmentation on my cheeks that I had gotten over the summer. I also get B-12 shots and have now lost a total of 14lbs. They give me energy and I am no longer tired. The facility is clean, beautiful and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff is wonderful. I've had the best experience at Skin Renaissance. There I can always find my favorite skin creams. Yet they offer so much more for any type of skin care. The staff is very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. From the moment I walk in the clinic I am greeted very professionally. The foyer and waiting area are very relaxing, and the staff are always present to offer something to eat or drink to make the usually very short wait more pleasant. I feet like a princess there! This medispa is doing very well. Right in the heart of Gtreat Bridge. Beautiful location, sophiticated yet friendly interior. Great beverage bar. Great service. I had a chemical peel first with Patrizia--she's great, soft hands, beautiful Italian accent. After that I got 38 units of Botox. The Owner, Julie, was very professional but calm and funny. She really seemed interested in my ""issues"", and suggested a range of options available to my budget. I barely felt the super-thin needles. At my two week follow-up, my wrinkles were gone and I didnt look frozen or plastic. I looked like I did in my 20s. I am hooked!! Read Less
