I had my brows and liner done quite some time ago. After 7 weeks I needed them fixed. After they healed they were very spotty and it took me way more time to fix them when I get ready. I had an email sent with a link asking if I'd recommend her and I put the truth of my experience and that I didn't like them and no I wouldn't recommend her. She texted me and said she was sorry and that she'd fix my brows and liner free of charge. I scheduled my appointment and when I went there she said it'd only be $90 since it's been a year since I had them done...she obviously didn't remember who I was and what she had told me that it wouldn't cost anything. I told her she said it'd be free...she gave me the whole spill that it's been a year and the needles cost 60 something dollars. I only had 70 that I was going to tip her and she said that'd be fine. After I was done I didn't have much time to look at the work because someone was waiting. Now my eyebrows are 2 different thicknesses and square at the beginning of my brows and they look horrible!!!! I will say she's a very sweet lady but I haven't had a good experience these 3 times I've gone so now I'll have to go somewhere else and spend even more money!!! Reasons to not use A Permanently Beautiful You.  She is always late for the appointments. . She only got into doing this because she had nothing else to do. Poor lighting in the room she works in. It is quite cluttered and does not give one confidence in her competence. For all her "experience" I ended up with one eyebrow higher than the other and a vastly different shape.  Her second attempt to fix it did not resolve the problems even though she kept measuring and said everything matched. Maria did my permanent eyeliner, and it is gorgeous. Her prices are a little high, but you pay for what you get! She works out of her beautiful home in Sandy. The only negative thing I would have to say is that I tried setting an appointment a few months later to get eyelash extensions, but was turned away because Maria was too busy. I was referred to her sister who also does eyelash extensions, but she never returned my calls or texts, so I went with someone else. I would definitely go back to Maria if she has the time. I have seen Maria at least 3 times. Each time she has done an excellent job. She's very professional and has a beautiful salon in her home. Her prices are very reasonable too. I have been to other places to have facial treatments done and paid much more but, I come back to Maria because I like her work much better and her prices are much more reasonable than the salons elsewhere. She listens to what my concerns are and she has a photo album of her before and after work. You can even see photos of the work she has done on herself. My brows and lips look beautiful and my face is clear and so natural. I now only need a small amount of makeup because my skin looks so clear. I will continue to see her as time goes on. As for myself, I unfortunately wasn't blessed with dark full eyebrows or long dark beautiful eyelashes. My eyebrows are fairly light in color in comparison to my dark hair and are very sparse. I used to have to draw my eyebrows on every morning in high school and let me tell you, it wasn't always pretty let alone symmetrical to the other side. You would never know if it was a good day or an angry day based on the shape I had drawn on my brows sometimes. I originally had gotten permanent cosmetics done on my eyebrows when I was 17 by another lady who was good but holy cow, I wasn't numbed up for it and I could feel EVERYTHING! I loved the look and simplicity of having them. Fast forward 10 years, they had faded a bit and I was looking for another permanent MAU to redo by brows as well as look into getting my eyeliner done. Now, I had seen Maria seriously at every What a Girl Wants Expo and had seen her work. Later, I was speaking with my in-laws about her and behold, my mother and sister in-law had gone through Maria for their eyebrows, lips and eyeliner!!! Maria had done both of their eyebrows, lips and liner beautifully. Our (at the time) 87 year old Grandma even loved her work so much, she had her brows done by Maria as well and Grandma adored her! She was so careful and delicate with her aging skin too! Since then, I have had my eyebrows, top and bottom eyeliner permanently done by Maria as well as lash extensions too! I love not having to draw on my brows every day or doing liner. It seriously cuts your make up time in half. I'm not ashamed to answer the door first thing in the morning by surprise visitors if I haven't gotten ready yet. I have referred my mother and sister to her for permanent make up as well as friends. She is seriously THAT GOOD! If Grandma simply adored her and her work,  you know shes a winner!Maria is very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Maria thoroughly goes through the procedure with you as well as aftercare instructions. She goes through color selections to find the right color for you and what you want and feel comfortable with.If you're questioning shape, she has you covered as well. She numbs the site well to keep you comfortable during the procedure and is very sensitive as well. You also don't ever have to worry that her ink colors will change throughout time either like some people you may see that have had their brows done elsewhere. She uses quality ink made for permanent make up, not some cheap ink or regular ink that tattoo artists use.
