I've been seeing John for about 10 years and he's done all mine except a few cause I couldn't wait to get in to see him since he's booked out for it seems like ages. You can see how much he's progressed as a tattoo artist by looking at the portraits his done on me. I'm past due for a new tattoo since the last one I had was from him and that was maybe 4-5 years ago when he did a portrait of Ozzy. Me and my wife have been coming to see Travis for more than 16 years. He's also tattooed our daughter and close friends. When I first decided to get my first tattoo, I did my research and looked all over the valley. When I found Travis I knew he'd be able to give me the exact tattoo I wanted. He's versatile in his art. I will not go to anyplace other than Art City Tattoo! Jed, is my artist, and he has now done three for me (one is a work in progress). He is very friendly, and has an awesome sense of humor, he also takes pride in his work. It is hard to find an artist who is genuinely interested in the meaning behind your tattoo. I went to many different shops to get quotes, and every single artist I spoke with seemed to only care about getting the piece over with. My cousin referred me to Art City, as Jed did her tattoos, and when I talked to him about what I wanted, he seemed excited to get to work. Their prices are very reasonable, and they work quickly! This tattoo place when you walk in isn't very new or updated looking. In all honestly it looks a bit run down. But I actually love this place and this is my shop of choice and who I recommend to all my friends. The artist's (Jason) used sterilized tools and made sure everything was clean Jason was more than friendly and helpful while we talked about the design of my tattoo and while I was getting inked. He played a movie on a portable dvd player for me while he was working, which help keep me occupied and distracted during my 3 hour appointment. However, he was also really nice and not awkward to talk to at all. I felt very comfortable during the entire experience.
