I don’t know where to start- I reached out to Mac because I saw someone recommend him via Facebook. Upon looking at the business’s Facebook page, I was able to see so many amazing pieces made by Mac which gave me hope that his style and skills would suit the vision I had for my first tattoo. This was a big decision in the making as I have been putting off tattoos for many, many years for many reasons, but I am so glad I reached out to Mac. My first ever tattoo experience was AMAZING. The staff was so friendly when I walked in and were super supportive when they realized it was my first tattoo. Mac did an amazing job of prepping me for the process as he showed me his design which was more than I could have imagined. He was considerate of my raging nerves and walked me through everything, showing me his needle, and the brand new tools that he was going to use on me. The process was quick and fairly painless surprisingly but I think it was because Mac and the other artists were so engaging and kept me focused on great conversations we were all having. Overall I felt so at home and at peace. The result had me tearing up and I couldn’t believe how beautiful it turned out. Mac has a soft touch and swift, effective skills which made the whole session so enjoyable. I will be back- most definitely- and if you were considering coming- I am telling you that you should. So many talented artists here but I definitely will back up Mac and his abilities any day! Read Less

I cant say enough about the whole process!! My daughter got a tattoo and it's beyond anything else we've received. Larry was so nice and made the experience so comfortable. The girl at the counter was so sweet to us. The other shop we went to, the staff made us feel unwelcome and a burden. I'll be coming here for any future tattoos or piercings! Read Less

All I have to say is yikes. The tattoos are literal jokes and this place is pretty run down. If you want a place that is unsterile I'm sure you'll end up with some sort of infection from here. Truly research places before you just do some sporadic tattoo because any shitty tattoo I see I feel bad but still laugh a little.... Read Less

I have known the owner "Larry" for many years. They do a great job. Unlike most shops this is also a Tattoo supply shop. They have fair prices, plus do lots of custom art.  The other thing I find cool is the owner is one of the artist. They are also however one of the cheapest tattoo shops here in utah. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS PLACE! Horrible place to get a tattoo done. Do not go here! I can't remember the girls name that I went to but now instead of paying a few hundred for a nice tattoo originally, I am paying $2,000 to get it fixed. Larry also messed up my husband's arm really bad. We both quit going before they finished because it was that bad. Everyone I am getting quotes from now are surprised that a real "tattoo artist" did these pieces. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE! THEY WILL MESS YOUR BODY UP!!!!! Read Less

Erik manning is one of a kind. If your going to get tattooed then I suggest having Erik Manning do it. A lot of the time you have an idea of what you want to get but not an exact definition of what you want it to look like on your skin. This is where Erik's talent far exceeds the ability of most. You can bring erik any basic general idea and he can put it on paper/stencil making it exactly what you envisioned except somehow better. 5 out 5 I will always come here to have erik work his magic.Read Less

I've been getting tattooed and have known the Retribution family for a long time and have gotten a lot of ink here in fact every tattoo I have I have gotten here. I absolutely love the people, the environment, and the work. I wouldn't trade this shop for anything. Such a great shop, but if you go ONLY go to larry. He absolutley amazing. He made an old crappy tattoo into a gorgeous tattoo im not ashamed of. Ive gone to him for all my piercings and tattoos since. DONT go to the girl there!! She is unprofessional, rude, and rushes her tattoos. She cancels all the time and is only interested in money. I wouldn't give one star if this would still show up.  Mimi tattoed my daughters back and did a horrible job.  Lied about ability to do water colors and is completely unable to blend! Cost $160 and now have to pay close to $175 to get it fixed by a REAL artist.  Mimi brought her infant to work and it cried the whole time. She was very distracted and rushed through it.  Refused to refund any amt of $.  Daughter so embarrassed she won't let me post the tat. Even my laymen eyes could see that Mimi didn't have a clue what she's doing which tells me Mimi's boss doesn't care about shops rep because he saw the tat & the pics used for working off of & stated it looked blended to him.  This place is a joke don't waste your money unless you enjoy shoddy work that you'll definitely have to get fixed.
