Got my hand rose tattoo done by Josh first time getting tattooed in Utah after moving from California. I researched high & low from the numerous shops in Utah. Word of mouth from my cali artists recommended Loyalty. Met up with Josh at SLC tattoo convention and discussed my tattoo ideas. Came in and set everything up. Great shop & friendly service. Loyalty is a great shop. Its a clean friendly environment.  My first experience with Loyalty was in 2004. I got a gift certificate for Christmas totally by mistake. At the time I was going to another local tattoo shop and my family got me a gift certificate to Loyalty on accident not knowing that it was the wrong shop. Over the next year, I got more tattoos from Nick and more from the other shop. Nick eventually covered up most of my tattoos from the other shop. Over the years, I've gotten several tattoos at Loyalty and have sent friends there as well. I have also been tattooed by Dave.I paid for my younger brother to get his first tattoo from Loyalty. This is the shop to go to in Utah. All of the artists are so good. They are clean and professional. I have gone to Loyalty Tattoos for 16 years. And every piece I have gotten from them is beautiful. I have been tattooed by Nick, Josh, and Dave I would recommend all of them. I appreciate all of the different styles of each of the artists. Even though I have never been tattooed by Brian or Kristen (other artists at this shop) I have seen both of their work, and they are very talented. As good as it gets!" may fall SHORT in describing the experiences I've walked away with each time I have visited my favorite tattoo establishment in the continental United States. Nick Phillips has always taken remarkable care of me. I've been to other shops in the area and when it comes to matters of the skin, I trust only Mister Phillips. (He has done my chest, and a number of other pieces on my arms and such) I usually come in with a rough idea of what I want, with next to no structure for him to work off of and by the time I walk away I have something that makes what I expected look like a kindergarten doodle. Not to mention that I now live in Denver and plan my trips to visit Utah around my next tattoo appt.So, why write a review on Yelp when tattoo establishments usually speak for themselves by way of walking advertisements? Partly because I am religious with my Yelp reviews, partly because there weren't any existing reviews for these guys, but mostly because I want to declare my love for this business and the people that make it so outstanding! Loyalty Tattoos had the cleanest shop i have ever been. I walked in on a friday evening and had to wait for about an hour, but they were friendly and help me pick my tattoo. I originally wanted something i picked off the internet, but they redid it for me and I absolutely loved it. The colors were propalby some of the best i've ever seen.
