Came early to ensure that I was able to be seen. I had been wanting to get tattoos for years now but I was always afraid of the pain. Today I decided to go through with it. My tattoo artist is named James Millen. He has been professionally tatting people up for the last 10 years. He was kind and informative. Since it was my first time getting a tattoo, he basically did a step by step walkthrough from what to expect to aftercare instructions. I got a moon and a palm tree. I love them. Best part? They did not hurt like I thought they would AT ALL lol.The store itself is very tidy and colorful. I did not get to really talk to the others but they were all very professional. They take cash and/or card. There's more than enough parking. You can also set up an appointment for a free consultation (which is what I intend to do!)If you're in Waco, definitely go check this place out!

[This review is based on my tattoo experience with James Millen.]Years I've been trying to do a cover up on some old ink. There were a few recommendations and referrals, but for whatever reason, things just never worked out. Then one day, Big Bro showed me his new body art (I loved it!) done by "his guy." He mentioned it was all freehand, and with that, I was sold. I wasn't due to visit central Texas for a few months, but I made sure to keep a mental note and remind Big Bro to hook it up with his guy. Β When the visit was a mere few weeks away, I asked Big Bro if maybe one of the things I can do is to have his guy do a cover up for me. We exchanged pictures, ideas, etc... Big Bro made sure he relayed it to his guy. "No problem." Confirmed our appointment.It's an interesting spot. They have a bench outside made of a truck bumper. Their seats inside were church pews. I thought those were kinda cool! I finally meet Big Bro's "guy" - James Millen. Off the bat, I felt comfortable with him. I told him exactly what I wanted and showed him a few samples to give him ideas. The area I wanted covered up contained a couple of work I didn't want covered up, and they were a bit too close to the ones I wanted gone. (For a second, I wondered how he was gonna do that.)It didn't take long before he got working on his sketch. He took my ideas and put his own twist in it. And I'm gonna say this: his "draft" was impressive. After a few *teenee* minor changes, OFF WE WENT. 5 hours of needlework and the end result was AMAZING. It was much better than I ever imagined! He even retraced old art I wanted to preserve which elevated his work's entire appearance.He was friendly all throughout. He made sure I was comfortable and doing okay. Lots of staff up in here are very nice. They were all easy to strike up a conversation with. And yes: I flew all the way from California just to get inked by him. Whatever he charged was absolutely worth it. And the fact that no one else has this kind of piece on 'em simply makes it priceless. Please note: James is only "visiting" this spot. He will be opening his own joint in a couple of months not too far from here. (I have attached a photo of his business card if interested.) And for the record, he's quick to respond. (I will update this review with before and after photos soon as I'm completely healed.) And like Big Bro, "No one else will ever get to ink me but him." Am I happy?! ABSOLUTELY. I gave Texas Dermagraphics a 4 because of the cleanliness and how friendly the staff was during my initial visit. I had my nostril pierced by Lacie. After I left the shop I noticed that the entry and exit of my piercing was not even. I felt the angle was off and wondered how I would change my nose ring when it was time. Β I also didn't like that the screw was Very close to the end of my nostril and Very visible. I would look at other piercings on ppl I came across and videos of nostril piercing and didn't see this problem on others. I even googled the correct angle of a nostril piercing and strongly felt mine was incorrect. During my 2nd week, I tried to contact Lacie Many times only to be told she was not there or they hoped she would be in that day. I decided to go to the original place I wanted to get my piercing and spoke to the piercer. The only reason I didn't go to the original place of choice is because the piercer was a male and I felt a female would be more gentle. When I arrived he Immediately said what I thought all along. He said the piercing was at a weird angle. He removed my nose ring and gave me a discount for a new piercing. I went back 3 weeks later and I Love it. I can Not see the screw at all. It was less painful because he didn't use an 18 gauge nose ring and this time I didn't bleed which he said was caused by the larger sized gauge. As a piercer, I give Lacie a 1 Rating.

I just started going to this shop around November of 2017 because I just moved back down here from Lubbock and needed a new tattoo place to go. The atmosphere here is incredible, the service is great, and the artists are awesome! I have gotten 2 tattoos here now by Crash, and he does AMAZING work! This is the best shop Iβve ever been to, and Iβve been recommending it to my friends ever since I started going here. I reccommend this shop for EVERYONE in need of new tattoos/piercings!

Now that I'm back home from Waco, Texas just wanted to make sure I left an honest review of the tattoo shop my friends and I got matching tattoos at! Soooo it was late in the evening and we decided to find a shop that could take us all and this place told us to come in.... The atmosphere was great.... Crash was our artists and he was awesome! Not only was his work perfect, he was fun as well! I have many tattoos and this was probably the best experience I've had getting one done! Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Okay . . .I had one of "those" tattoos and tried to have it altered once before. . . but the end result wasn't quite what I had hoped for. But then, I found Texas Dermagraphics! I went in for a consult hoping that something could be done with the mess of a tattoo I had. Crash was amazing! He was able to turn that mess into a whimsical flourish design and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be going back for a few more tattoos and hopefully someday, a 1/2 sleeve. I would absolutely recommend this place!

My sister, niece and I met in Texas for a long weekend and wanted to get tattoos. We ended up at Texas Dermagraphics and it was the best decision we could have made. We felt very intimidated when we first walked up but they made us feel right at home from the first. Our visit was very therapeutic for all of us and it felt like family. Chey, Crash, and Ryan did great jobs and we are totally happy with the results. If you ever find yourself in Waco, Texas and are in need of some ink therapy go to Texas Dermagraphics, you won't be disappointed!

This is the only shop I will go to from now on. It's clean, uncrowded, and a nice environment. I was the only client at the time so some of the artists were cool and would chat with us a bit. Chey was really professional and accommodating and so talented! She even sent me a preliminary sketch the day before and took the time to explain everything. Wonderful customer service all the way around. Thanks so much!

His came out nice ...mine looks like a little kid wrote on me with a Sharpie...really sucks since it's on the side of my neck..its so bad that pople cant even read it. And the first respose I get when anyone sees it is either telling me how bad it looks or telling me that I need to get it fixed.

Gotten 2 pieces done on my wrist and getting another completed in a couple weeks. Very friendly environment, clean and they make you feel very comfortable. These guys are amazing ! I'm very picky about where I go to get art work done. And Wacko is not known for its tattoos. In fact the only thing tattoo shops here in Waco are typically associated with Is bad quality and infections. This isn't the case. At first I was a bit apprehensive about getting work here in Waco, but after talking to these guys, I was pretty confident. Crash is a very sweet guy and easy to work with. Very open to the customers input and genuinely listens to what the customer wants. I am absolutely impressed with the work he's done with my sleeve. I had the outline done while I was living in Caroline but unfortunately I had to move back to Texass. So I had an empty shell of a sleeve and wasn't sure what to do. But alass, Crash flew in for the rescue and save the sleeve.

I went in for a consult hoping that something could be done with the mess of a tattoo I had. Crash was amazing! He was able to turn that mess into a whimsical flourish design and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be going back for a few more tattoos and hopefully someday, a 1/2 sleeve. I would absolutely recommend this place!

My sister, niece and I met in Texas for a long weekend and wanted to get tattoos. We ended up at Texas Dermagraphics and it was the best decision we could have made. We felt very intimidated when we first walked up but they made us feel right at home from the first. Our visit was very therapeutic for all of us and it felt like family. Chey, Crash, and Ryan did great jobs and we are totally happy with the results. If you ever find yourself in Waco, Texas and are in need of some ink therapy go to Texas Dermagraphics, you won't be disappointed!

This is the only shop I will go to from now on. It's clean, uncrowded, and a nice environment. I was the only client at the time so some of the artists were cool and would chat with us a bit. Chey was really professional and accommodating and so talented! She even sent me a preliminary sketch the day before and took the time to explain everything. Wonderful customer service all the way around. Thanks so much!

Worse tatoo ever. My boyfriend and I went to get each other's name tattooed on out necks . We wanted the same faunt. His came out nice ...mine looks like a little kid wrote on me with a Sharpie...really sucks since it's on the side of my neck..its so bad that pople cant even read it. And the first respose I get when anyone sees it is either telling me how bad it looks or telling me that I need to get it fixed.

Got my Tattoo done by Brad. Was throwing him a curve ball by changing it up the last minute but he worked with me. Everyone is very talented and friendly. This is the place to go in Waco for tattoos.

Gotten 2 pieces done on my wrist and getting another completed in a couple weeks. Very friendly environment, clean and they make you feel very comfortable. It's a definition of Great Customer Service and they are family oriented. My son and Daughter in Law have all gone in on the same night and gotten ink. Awesome place and would highly recommend it.

These guys are amazing ! I'm very picky about where I go to get art work done. And Wacko is not known for its tattoos. In fact the only thing tattoo shops here in Waco are typically associated with Is bad quality and infections. This isn't the case. At first I was a bit apprehensive about getting work here in Waco, but after talking to these guys, I was pretty confident. Crash is a very sweet guy and easy to work with. Very open to the customers input and genuinely listens to what the customer wants. I am absolutely impressed with the work he's done with my sleeve. I had the outline done while I was living in Caroline but unfortunately I had to move back to Texass. So I had an empty shell of a sleeve and wasn't sure what to do. But alass, Crash flew in for the rescue and save the sleeve.

I went in as a walk in and was my lucky day Brad was there that day. Great guy really nice and I'm an extremely happy with my tattoo. I definitely recommend this place.

The ONLY shop in Waco I will ever go for my tattoos. Brad does amazing work and not overpriced like other shops because of a name.
