Woodlands OBGYN takes email addresses, and then sends them email with no way to unsubscribe or opt-out.Someone mis-entered my email address as a patient, and since then, I have been unable to unsubscribe or opt-out of these emails.Worse, these emails contain personal information for the patient in question!Go elsewhere if you want a OB/GYN who cares about patient privacy or data safety for your records! After reading some of these reviews, I feel like I dodged a bullet. If you are a military family, they will not make it easy for you. I got the impression they are too worried they won't get paid than to have any respect for people. Tricare told me you do not need a referral for a doctor to receive well women checkups. Woodlands OBGYN will not schedule an appointment for me without a referral because it is their policy. They also refused to call Tricare to check whether they need a referral or not. I got a bad feeling they didn't want me as a patient so I will find somewhere else to go where I'm treated with respect. Read Less

I have been seeing Dr. Westmorland for a couple years now and have several complaints. First of all the wait time to be seen is ridiculous- usually about an hour. Secondly for simple lab tests I have been charged between $250-600 when I can go online to get the same tests for much less. And the final straw was that instead of checking my insurance ahead of time (which I know they can do because I've worked with their electronic system before for a year), the front office staff waited until I got to my appointment to turn me away. I had been waiting for 3 weeks for this appointment for an ISSUE, and now with no warning I am going to have to wait weeks to get in with another obygn. They couldn't even recommend another one in the area. But perhaps it is for the better, the other reviews look about as good as mine. Read Less

The office is beautiful and ran very efficiently.  It was a breeze during my pregnancy because the lab came to you for blood draws and ultrasound was always very quick and done before the dr saw me.  Dr. Everson was amazing throughout my visits and labor/delivery.  I highly recommend this office. I feel compelled to write this review to share my experience. I should have done this a long time ago. Dr Westmorelan delivered my first baby and my experience with her was extremely poor. I felt she completely changed after the first initial visit when my mom and I interviewed her to be my doctor. At first she was upbeat and kind and caring and seemed overall excited for my pregnancy. Things quickly went downhill from there. I can clearly remember asking normal first time pregnancy questions on that second visit and getting sarcastic like answers as if I was asking dumb questions! For instance.."How will I know when I start to show?" What will my belly begin to feel/look like? Her response "You'll just know!" Really!? That's it!? From then on I had a negative feeling for every appointment after that and not dare ask her anymore stupid questions...I will never forget feeling stupid and ashamed for only asking a few questions.  This was in 2010. I went on to have some complications later in the pregnancy. Nothing too serious, but I did have my gallbladder removed at 7 months pregnant by a general surgeon and I was terrified as a first time mom! Dr. Westmorelan was obviously fully aware and after the surgery I was recovering the next day when I overheard Dr. Westmorelan speaking to my surgeon out in the hall about my procedure and current prognosis. I just sat there in my hospital bed waiting for her to pop in and say hello and see how I was feeling. She didn't. And she Never Did. Nor did she even follow up with me period. I was utterly shocked at her unprofessional response and disgusted that she lacked so much compassion for her patient!!! I could hardly wait for my baby to be born so that I could be done with her! I became just a number to her after that first visit. I deeply regret ever stepping foot in this office. She completely ruined my first pregnancy experience. I'm so glad that I chose this place. Dr. Rielly was so friendly & made me feel very comfortable. She took her time & answered all my questions (didn't rush me) and was really gentle.  The nurse was very pleasant & polite. I only waited 10 minutes and was called in. I am 25 weeks pregnant & my doctor is dr.Rielly & I currently sent over my leave papers from my job. First thing, when I emailed them nurse Alex never confirmed she received them, I messaged her again asking were my documents received & no response. I went in today & asked about it & was told that my paperwork wouldn’t be signed. My problem is, when was I going to be told that? Why hasn’t anyone communicated that with me, so I can let my job know? That’s messing with my money. I was trying to take my leave early because my job consist of me lifting heavy objects, using a ladder, and bending 10hours a day, & I have a certain rate which means I have to move fast which is very hard due to me being 6 months pregnant. I get out of breath & dizzy. I am having very bad back pain & other pain. My nurse had the nerve to tell me that’s no reason why I shouldn’t work! What!! How are you going to tell me something, when this is my body, and MY PREGNANCY!!! & to say most ppl work until they have their baby is crazy, why should I be lifting all the way til 9 months pregnant? She claim she would fax them over, but at this point they’ve had my paper work since Monday & my deadline for the paper work is next Tuesday. At this point I am over this doctors office. They are not caring nor considerate. Telling me where you worked during pregnancy has nothing to do with me. Every pregnancy is different so no need to compare! Choose wisely when picking your OB. I am so impressed by this office! All of the staff are friendly and helpful. They do not keep you waiting and stay on schedule. I have been there a few times for visits with Dr. Everson.  She knows her stuff! I told her some of my symptoms and she knew exactly what was wrong. She took blood immediately right there in the office and I had results the next day. The staff made sure that I was able to come in the very next day for treatment. I rated this office a 5 stars because of my first few visits. Upon completing my prenatal care with them I just want everybody to know that I would give them 100 stars if I could. Becca, my ultrasound technician, has been such a blessing to have through this process. She is the most caring and compassionate ultrasound tech I have ever been lucky enough to have! Dr. Jenna Everson has also been absolutely amazing! She genuinely cares about her patient's comfort and understanding. Dr. Everson's nurses have been quick to respond to any questions and/or concerns that I have had. I have really enjoyed having these professionals involved in my pregnancy. I cannot explain how frustrating my time has been with this office. Every time I go to Walgreens to pick up my prescription, they tell me I am "out of refills" and they have to contact their office. They never get back to the pharmacist, and then I don't get my prescription. This happens every. single. time. Even if I just had my annual appointment. Extremely inconvenient. Read Less

I can not put into words how unprofessional Dr. Everson is. I am a young adult but that does not mean that i'm not allowed to have questions about being infertile. I do not appreciate getting laughed at or getting asked "well are you trying to get pregnant" All i wanted is to be treated like a normal customer and for you to explain everything i asked. My old dr decided to move back to Ohio so I was in the market for a new one. I was referred to Dr. Syal by a friend who has been seeing him for quite a while. I called to make the appointment, they had the day and time I needed, smooth phone call. I arrived at the office 5 minutes before my appointment (9:40), filled out my my new patient paperwork and was in the back by 9:47. Office is very nice and open, love the big windows! The back staff is very welcoming, they actually have conversations with you...which is different from my last office. I was asked a few basic questions and Dr. Syal came in, introduced himself and asked some questions as well. I have a dry sense of humor and I can be pretty monotone when in a new environment but Dr. Sayl made me feel comfortable and i also knew I was in good hands. My review seems to have been erased from all the places I posted. This office is disgusting. It's a cattle car business, moving people from one waiting room to another. When having to give a urine sample, there were numerous others without lids. It was difficult to put mine in the door without knocking the others over! This office is a cattle mover.  You wait in the first waiting room, then you are moved to a second waiting room after your weight is taken.  I've never been impressed with the wait times.  The bathrooms are disgusting.  I had to place my urine sample in the door per usual, there were too many cups (with no lids!!) in the sample door.  I had to carefully squeeze my sample between all the others.  It was utterly disgusting seeing all of those, especially without lids.  I can't believe this is considered within the health code.  That was the last straw for me.  I don't have any issues with Dr. Westmoreland herself.  She's nice enough and encouraged me to take my time discussing the issues - not rushing me at all but the office is just horrible. I went to the clinic for my first time visit. I was supposed to be with Dr. Syal but ended up with Dr. Westmoreland. The sonogram technician I had was phenomenal. She was very nice and welcoming. When I went to see the doctor (Dr. Westmoreland) she wanted to do blood work which at the time I was very nauseous and didn't think I should do it due to the fact that I might pass out. She didn't suggest to come back when I feel better or get a snack until I didn't feel sick. Once I... told her I wasn't going to she had a rude attitude, slammed the door when she walked out, didn't hand me my paperwork, nor tell me or show me where the checkout area was. I understand she how she could of been frustrated but her behavior in the situation was very unprofessional. I understand people have bad days but at work you would think a middle age woman wouldn't act in such a way. I saw Dr. Jenna Everson for my first pregnancy. I got so lucky finding a great physician for my first pick in an ob/gyn. The ultrasound tech Leanne was top notch, she always shared about herself and her family and made me comfortable and always shared in the excitement of my new addition. Alexa is always there greeting you at the front desk, smiling and friendly. Everson herself was amazing. She is kind of rushed but I liked that because as a working mom, I was ready to get in and out of my appointments and while she was always in a hurry, she never made me feel like I was just a number and she made sure every question I had was answered and answered thoroughly. I went to the ER once because I couldn't feel my son move and I met Syal because he was on call and he was amazing too, great bedside manner. This team is in the building right next to Memorial Hermann so if you go into labor, you know they're right there and can be there in time. I highly suggest this group. Everyone is well mannered and polite, nice, calm, courteous, fast, friendly and the atmosphere is chic and beautiful and clean. I never had to wait long and I had a good handful of ultrasounds, anytime I had a worry (of course still when medically necessary). I could call and speak to a MA at anytime and if I had to leave a message I'd get a call back quick. Let them deliver your kids, you won't regret it. Dr. Syal and his nurses are awesome. After dealing with my old ob I was very disheartened with my fertility issue, my old doctor never made time for me or listened or took my PCOS seriously. I was blown away after my 1st appointment with Dr. Syal. He is so kind and spent so much time with me without rushing me and listens to my concerns. Excellent care, and helpful staff especially Ann, the insurance lady. She is amazing. Doctor Winkelmann was my OB For my pregnancy, but her colleague Dr Sullivan wound up delivering my baby because my doc was out of town. I was in excellent hands the whole time.For women's health and if you need an OBGYN I highly recommend this practice. Very comfortable and caring.
