On first walking into Peggy's I was a little put-off, the lady who greeted my four-person group was not very helpful, despite the words that she spoke. Going to get a tattoo can be really nerve wracking and having someone consistently asking if they can help you doesn't really help anything, I personally need the time to acclimate to the shop... But we decided to get our tattoos there based on portfolios. We left our ideas with Ingram and said we'd come back the next day...Next day comes and he had not sketched anything out, which bothered me, but maybe he got busy, who knows, it was Spring Break. Ingram started with my friend's tattoo, it was pretty simple and started it right away. Their set-up took forever, but you get to see them sterilize everything and if you want they can set up in front of you. CLEAN. There's a big open window so shop patrons and your friends can laugh at you while you're under the needle which was a lot of fun. Ingram pushed me off on a different artist, and I just went with it, too excited to be picky. Tony was really friendly, listened well and wanted to do a good job on it. Spent some time with my design before we agreed on size, placement and so on. Drew out my stencil and then wanted me to sit with him while he set up so we could get to know each other. I thought that was really awesome of him, Ingram kinda ignored my two friends that he tattooed and seemed pretty quiet. Tony and I chatted for the majority of my session and it was just really relaxing and comfortable! While Matt wasn't there long, he did a quick tattoo on my other friend and he seemed really nice too.So despite the reception/henna girls and Ingram's seemingly un-caring attitude towards his patrons, I give Tony a thumbs up for being a people person. All of our tattoo's turned out beautifully, and I couldn't be happier. The experience definitely made Spring Break memorable. Read Less
