Absolutely horrible place, terrible customer service, made me pay $80 to secure an appointment time, I show up they are no where to be found, while we were waiting another lady arrived who's belly button piercing she got there was infected, she was also told to come in so they could look at it. Omg Emily is a sweetheart. My first time getting my naval pierced wasn’t the best but Emily made my second experience amazing. I was looking for someone to actually converse with me and tell me how to properly care for my piercing considering the first place I went to sucked. She is cool as hell and I plan to go back for my first tattoo. When your having things done to body like piercings and tattoos it’s reassuring to have someone there who is willing to answer your questions and show you genuine customer service. I will be back! had the random urge to get a tattoo at about 9pm on a sunday night. shop was full of customers but i was immediately greeted by a few artists and asked about what i wanted done. after abt 5 minutes, they had the template done and ready to get started. took less than an hour to finish, and it was exactly what i wanted. couldn't have asked for a more competent and helpful shop. my tattoo artist, Sandman, even suggested a few small changes (like white highlights in the eyes) which ended up making the piece pop and look that much better. thanks guys!! Went here for a piercing the lady did not clean my nose I hope she used good utensils on me it was my first time getting a piercing I was so scared of the pain I was just trying to relax myself because every time I tried talking to her she was to busy talking to someone else. After my piercing was over she then kinda just rushed me out no words on how to take care of it or anything worst first experience I also think it’s crooked but online it says to give it 2 weeks for the swelling to go down an if it’s crooked go back. I tell you what if it is crooked I will not be returning that place was unsanitary An unprofessional. With this whole experience I should have at least done it my self that’s how bad it is. Response: like wise you need to get to know your customers I did not get a stud I got a septum this owner can not take criticism all you get are passive aggressive sorry as she stated it’s not a day care she obviously does not care on how a customer feel on there first experience. Y’all, let me just tell you something. I freaking love this place! I went in to get my rook pierced, and the owner (Emily) did it. She was so genuine and attentive to me while I was in the chair. You could tell that she loves what she does and she was very good at it. She was very professional, hygienic, and gave me at home care instructions. I walked in pretty late to get a simple red heart tattoo the size of a dime. I payed $40, the staff and everyone was really nice but the tattoo had lots of light spots, I noticed from the moment I drove away. I waited for it to completely heal and it was significantly lighter on one side of the heart than the other, the artist only went over it once which I thought was strange. I walked in with two other friends who got the same thing and their tattoos faded and had many light spots as well. Keep in mind I did not pick at or scratch the tattoo at all during the healing process, I’m pretty well educated on the healing process I have tattoo artists in my family. When I went in for my nose piercing, I was nervous. I had gotten my tragus done two years prior at a different shop and it didn't go do well due to me being allergic to what was used. As soon as I walked into the doors of Twosted Rabbit, I was taken care of in a respectful and timely manner! When I told them about my prior experience and that I was looking to get my nose pierced in gold, they took my nervousness seriously. Needless to say, I'm very happy with my piercing! The people were very nice BUT, I will never go back again to get a tattoo. I guess it works for the college kids, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants a legit well done tattoo with clean lines and good technique. I am less than happy with my tattoo and that sucks. The shop seems to be lacking proper experience and they have some very young/ possibly under aged kids working there. I didn't even get my nose pierced here and Max helped me fix it. It was too small so he stretched it for me and was super helpful! He also changed my friends nipple rings and gave her a new stud for her cartilage for free. Super nice guy super nice shop. Read Less

My friends and I wanted to get a tattoo in honor of our awesome weekend in San Marcos. We went to the twisted rabbit tattoo for small and simple tattoos. The lady who drew out the tattoos did an amazing job, we were so excited and felt so welcomed by the staff. Unfortunately the artist who actually did our tattoos wasn't on the same level as the artist that drew them out for us. The artist who did our tattoos didn't take his time. It felt like he rushed through the 4 of us. He spent no more than 5 minutes on each of us. While I get that the designs we chose were not very detailed he should have taken more time so the end result wasn't so sloppy. The lines are bleeding out and crooked. Now 48 hours after getting them we are looking for artists to cover them. I would like to add that the owner, Emily is incredibly unprofessional when it comes to unsatisfied customers. I stopped by yesterday in hopes of getting a tattoo done and they were able to fit me in! We ended up wanting a while but it was definitely well worth the wait . Emily came in and i showed her what i wanted and she took the design and made it 10 times better. She took her time and paid attention to the tiny details. I usually go to a different shop in San Marcos but this shop is so much better ! Everyone was super friendly and none of the people working there came off rude or acted like they didn't want to help you.
