As a business owner, i understand and respect, the need for good customer service. i bend over backwards to help people, EXCEPT when safety is a concern. i even give each and every client my personal phone number, and tell them "i dont care if its 4am. if you need help, call your piercer NOT YOUR FRIENDS!" i do a two week follow up, simply because i care about my profession, and my clients. if you lose a bead, i replace it free of charge. in fact the only thing i do charge for, is new piercings or jewelry.as a human being, i understand and respect the need for common courtesy. be polite. treat people with respect. please and thank you. all that. my parents raised me right.as a grown adult, i understand that there is a plate of poop, that nobody should be forced to eat.as theres no way to comment on a review here, i felt a moral imperative to post in response to a review posted below. ill be adressing each point individually."i was never one told about the risks" on the release form that you filled out, you checked the box that says "i acknowledge that infections are always a possibility when obtaining a tattoo/piercing, particularly in the event that i do not take proper care of my tattoo/piercing."in addition, you were given an APP (association of professional piercers) aftercare sheet, which outlines what to, and what not to do.i also gave you verbal instruction on aftercare. section IV of that speech says ver batim " whatever you do, dont touch it, turn it, twist it, spin it, rotate it, flip it, smack it, or rub it down. the less you do to irritate it, is the less it does to irritate you! noses in particular are VERY problematic piercings. im sure youve seen people with a little bump under their piercing. the less you piss it off, the less likely that is to happen" i give this speech word for word 10 times a day, as nostrils are the most common piercing people get. in fact when you just read that, ill bet you even heard it in my voice. its the exact words. that type of scar tissue happens on nose piercings. approximately 1 in 3 people has an issue with it at least once, over the life of their piercing. it happens with studs. it happens with rings. it DEFINITELY happens when people put rounded jewelry (a hoop) in a hole that is healed straight, as in from a stud. even google will tell you that its a pretty common problem with any nostril piercing. the piercer, the shop, or the type of jewelry (as long as the material is safe) has zero effect on that."the process was fine, until about a week or two in...then i noticed a keloid starting to come up on my nose."did you come in for you two week follow up? would make sense since you were having an issue."i called him and he condescendingly told me to keep doing what i was doing"i cant imagine why i would go through the trouble of giving you my personal phone number, if i was just gunna be crappy to you over the phone, but lets just say i was for the sake of this post. YES...i told you to keep doing what youre doing. you need to heal the piercing BEFORE you treat the scarring, as the remedy for keloidal scarring is not conducive to the healing of the piercing itself.as far as the next few paragraphs, there was a recurring theme. every time you touched it, there was a problem. touching a healing piercing IS the cause of the problem generally. a vast majority of the people who contact me about this issue, can usually even remember an instance that started the keloid in the first place. of COURSE people contacted you that said they had the same issues healing a nostril piercing. its quite very common. in a nutshell, you said in your own words, that every problem started with you touching it. then bash ME for something you did repeatedly. even after written and verbal aftercare instructions SPECIFICALLY STATED dont touch it at all. if you truly "followed EVERY step he told me to take" you would not have been touching it. you would have been concerned enough to come in for your follow up, instead of slamming me on the internet. please dont read this as disrespectful. if you are, then reread it, as i said nothing ill of you personally. if you check your messages on here, i even reached out to you personally to try and rectify the situation when i saw the review. i dont hate or dislike you. in fact i encourage you to talk to me directly so we can square this away. i stand by my work. always have, always will. thanks for you time.dave mesasan marcos tattoo emporium512.392.3979 Read Less
