I officially love this place! Not only is the decor super artsy, it all has a whimsical element. I wanted all of the art, btw. Holy cow, do they have some talented artists. You can purchase prints and originals, jewelry, handbags and a few bath items. My niece and I had very simple tattoos done with Maddi and she found a way to make simple script and a heart look special. We left extremely happy. The art is very pigmented and the line work is amazing! We truly could not be more pleased. It has been 3 days and they are both healing perfectly. If you're looking for new ink, definitely look into these artists! Give their Instagram a look (and a sub) and you'll see all the talent this small parlor boasts. You won't be sorry!

I was expecting much more of a painful experience but it wasn't.. maybe bc my piercer was da bomb! Little pressure but over all it was great! Got the usual bull ring lol but will upgrade later. Thanks again and please please make sure to come see this gal when you're ready for a little body piercing she's so worth it. You'll love the way she works! I had an awesome experience getting pierced by Aedras here. She had an answer for every question I had and explained what she was doing the whole time. She's a perfectionist which is a great trait to have in a piercer! She's also super friendly which helped calm my nerves. I couldn't be happier with how my piercings turned out. The shop is very clean and there's tons of gorgeous artwork everywhere. I'll definitely be back.

Never had my ear pierced because my left ear had a birth defect and I was afraid it would make me look unbalanced. I looked at many places for piercings from San Marcos to Austin and One & Only Tattoo was the only place I felt comfortable going. So happy I decided to get my piercings done here! Aedras explained everything very well, was patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this shop clean professional and very upfront and honest. Best part of the whole experience is I LOVE my piercings!

I've been to quite a few parlors, some of them world famous. This is the coolest looking, cleanest one I've ever visited and with the nicest staff. I called in asking for a walk-in, the lady in the phone was agreeable and didn't sound annoyed, then I got there and they were all cool as cucumbers, no one acting like they're annoyed by doing what they love and getting payed top dollar as I have experienced so many times. Plus the shop is also a gallery and a jewelry store filled with stuff for you to look at while you're waiting. I got an awesome tattoo by Jacob Ladd and Callie pierced my nose with hands like a feather. I'll be back on my next trip to San Marcos!

Had a great experience here. was able to book an appointment right away. staff was friendly and helpful. I had a fun time chatting with them while getting work done. The shop is clean and the art inside is amazing. The location is nice. If you can't find parking on the square there is plenty down San Antonio Street and the walk isn't bad at all. They have farmers market on the square during the weekend so plan to park far away on Saturdays. I made the stupid choice of sitting five hours straight on one piece and when my endorphins wore off Jacob was really kind and talked me through the pain while he finished the last parts of the tattoo.

I love the tattoo I got from Daniel. I was super nervous because it is a forearm sleeve and there were a lot of things I wanted out of it. He was very patient and actually wouldn’t do the tattoo because he hadn’t received what I had written up and only had an outline kind of. He wanted to make sure I was getting the tattoo I had pictured so we rescheduled and he had just started a special that saved me a ton of money. A week and six hours later and I have a beautiful tattoo that he put a lot of time and detail into. It is really cool when you take a look at the stencil vs what it turned into because he did so much from what he sketched in his mind I guess. I don’t know if I can put pictures on here.

The coolest shop! Very indie and not at all intimidating for those that feel out of place in average, edgier tattoo shops. Callie was incredibly nice, changed her gloves at LEAST four times, and made sure it was right where I wanted my helix flat piercing. She explained the jewelry type (internally threaded) well and talked to me about gauge size options. Quixk, easy, and sterile. Price is $20 for piercing and $20 for the jewelry, so $40 all together. She also changed the jewelry for my other cartilage piercing. If I get another, I'll be going here and am definitely recommending to everyone!

He's very versatile in his artwork so he can draw up anything and portray his broad range of work to fit your needs. He's pretty fast too. And he's super nice and personable too. I came in with an illustration and he was able to translate the image into a beautiful tattoo that captured what I loved about the art work. I can't say enough great things about Daniel and his staff. From the moment I stepped in the door I was impressed, as this isn't your typical tattoo shop. It's more like an art gallery that also specializes in tattoos and piercings. Daniel is a true professional in every sense of the word. He took my ideas and turned them into an amazing cover up tattoo that I'm proud to wear forever. I can't wait to schedule my next appointment with him. The coolest shop! Very indie and not at all intimidating for those that feel out of place in average, edgier tattoo shops. Callie was incredibly nice, changed her gloves at LEAST four times, and made sure it was right where I wanted my helix flat piercing. She explained the jewelry type (internally threaded) well and talked to me about gauge size options. Quixk, easy, and sterile. Price is $20 for piercing and $20 for the jewelry, so $40 all together. She also changed the jewelry for my other cartilage piercing. If I get another, I'll be going here and am definitely recommending to everyone!

He says he will want to sell other things too. All one of a kind and by local artists. Daniel, the owner and tattooist, is a great artist. He's very versatile in his artwork so he can draw up anything and portray his broad range of work to fit your needs. He's pretty fast too. And he's super nice and personable too. Go check out the shop in the heart of SM!
