Please do not get pierced here. This is not a clean shop at all, at least when it comes to piercings. I do not know about the tattoo side of it, as I have never gotten a tattoo here. The quality of the jewelry is very bad. They use cheap jewelry which contains nickel, but when you ask them they say it is a high quality stainless steel. My piercing sight got infected right after the piercing. My piercing ended up rejecting due to bad quality jewelry. I am now left with a very visible scar. The piercing was also crooked, even though I got pierced by the owner. Apparently he has been piercing for a very long time, so there should be no excuse for this kind of work at this shop. Avoid at all costs - there are so many other shops in San Antonio that are affordable and actually know what they are doing. Read Less

Had a great experience. Took my daughter on her birthday to get her belly and nose pierced. John took time to explain everything to her and helped her to select the jewelry she wanted. Worst experience ever tonight! We had gone before and been pleased but tonight was horrible. John was rude, and gave zero customer service. Didn't have a care sheet-"oh I ran out".  We asked for a ring for her daith piercing but he never gave a choice. 'We're doing a bar'. And then he caused her immense pain! My other daughter had her daith done at Platinum Tattoo and there was no pain at all!! On top of that the pricing was double that of my other daughters piercing. We will not be going back. Read Less

I called to ask a question and the man was rude.I repeated a question to get clarification about my daughter being a minor and he said " that's what I said right, so what does that tell you." Avoid...I repeat, AVOID this place at all costs.  Can't speak for piercing but this place is the Dollar Tree of tattoo shops (with apologies to Dollar Tree).This isn't a true tattoo parlor.  It's a t-shirt shop with a shady space in the back.  Back rooms are unfinished and still under construction.  Artist's space was dirty and unkempt.  A hanging black rag is the "door" to the room.  Unprofessional and very substandard.  The Health Department would shut the place down.I sensed that the pricing system unfairly screws over the artists, forcing them to overcharge.  I can't rate the artist, since I chose to not get a tattoo because of all the red flags.  Don't be fooled by the $100 for $150 deal.  Unless it's a simple tattoo, pay a little more at a reputable shop and get your money's worth with less risk. David did 2 small tattoos for my husband and I today. He worked quickly, isn't heavy-handed and was very personable. Mason also pierced my cartilage. Like David, he was very friendly and good at what he does. I have 9 piercings and 9 tattoos, and these were the least painful of them all. I've been inked and pierced at 5 or more shops and would recommend Xtreme if you're at Ingram Park and in the mood for new ink or a piercing.Read Less

Friendly, professional staff. Fair pricing, open early!Got a nostril peircing here today. Very easy to find. Right next to sears in the ingram mall. Im not sure if they used better placement/tools or if im desensitized because ive gotten this peircing before but there was significantly less pain during and after when getting the peircing here. Very quick and relatively painless! Highly recommend! Also they seem to be open the earliest as compared to most tattoo/peircing parlors. Read Less
