Bad customer service. At first they tell you the good stuff and then when your work is done it's not good. Then to fix something that they didn't do right they want you to pay more. Really. Like if you didn't do it right in the first place you need to fix it and not charge the customer. Its not the customers fault they didn't do their job right. I don't recommend this place. Greetings,My mom and I came to this place to do our eyebrows and eyeliner and it turned out horrible.  It looked like a pre-schooler had done the job.  My both eyes looked completely different and the eyebrows well you can already imagine.  The sad part that when I came back to show her the lady at the reception said she was booked and that I should be fine with some concealer.  Are you kidding me, so I have been using a tons of eyebrow make up and concealer something that I didn't want to do.  The same thing for my mom, plus since she did her eyeliner she has been having eye issues pain and a lot of itching and this was done back in January.  Not to mention they charge to fix the mess they have created, at this point I am just putting a packet together to send up so there can be some correction and to make sure they have the certifications they say they have, they need to do something about this place, they rip people off and the job is horrible.  Now I have to pay another place to correct what they did, my question to them should be where is my refund for this mess they have created, plus some to correct what they did, I will not even come back to them for corrections because I DO NOT TRUST THEM to fix it.  I have attached two pictures so you can see for yourself.  I have a lot more in the packet that I am putting together, to be quite honest I should contact the health department. I had my eyeliner and brows done several years ago. The brows have faded over time but we're done very light at my request. My eyeliner is still awesome and I can say unequivocally , Jeanette is the best artist period. She is patient and her work is exceptional.Read Less

I went in about 2 years ago. The service is awesome. I am very scared of needles, but wanted the eyeliner because mine would alway smudge within hours. Went years ago when she was in the alamo heights location, and am going back for a touch up to her new location. Took me a few years to find her new place. Jeanette is so nice and professional, completely unlike the comments in a previous review. I've seen really bad permanent cosmetic jobs, so I will only trust Jeanette. My grandmother, 2 aunts, and 3 cousins have also gone to her and they are happy and look beautiful. This place is the best, and the only one you should trust! Read Less

I'm very surprised by some of the reviews on here. Jeanette is absolutely amazing. I got my eyeliner & lips done and I am beyond happy with them. Her prices are very reasonable unlike some other places I checked. Yes, Jeanette did run a little late for my appointments (about 30-45min), but once I got back there I realized why. She takes her time to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. I would rather wait a little longer and get results that I'm happy with, than to get it done on time and feel rushed and end up being unsatisfied with my makeup. I have no complaints! Those that choose to complain about the minimal waiting time may have been happier at a place where you are rushed in & out to ensure that they are "on time" for their next scheduled time slot...or would they have been??? I went to Jeanette for the first time and had previously read all reviews I could find. I was a bit skeptical about the procedure, but was put at complete ease once I got there. The major complaint that I kept reading on her reviews was her tardiness... this is true however, once I went back there I completely understood why. Like the previous remarks, she takes her time with you! She saw that I was nervous and did not rush me into any decisions, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire procedure. In addition, she was courteous enough to even come to the waiting area and let me know she was almost through and would be right with me. This business was very highly recommended by customers and coworkers but i am not pleased and regret giving this office my business. I had my eye brows, eyeliner, and my lips done. The operator ran 1 and a half hours late on my first visit. I was inconvenienced. Not to mention annoyed by the rude receptionist who hassled me for being 3 minutes late. I told her I was not given good directions then she questioned how it was even possible to get lost. I figured I'd schedule my next visit at earliest possible to avoid being inconvenienced once again. NOPE!!! Jeanette was very sweet and took time to talk to me about what I wanted. I have lips, eyebrows, and eyeliner from her. (I'm a makeup fanatic so I'm pretty picky) She did my makeup 4 years ago and I'm finally going in for a touch-up next week. I didn't need one until now! I get so many compliments. When I get eyebrow waxing or facials, they always try to remove my makeup and are shocked that it's a tattoo because it looks real. They always ask where I went and want her card. First of all she ran over an hour late into my appointment. Then she was so rushed that she didn't ask my opinion about how MY makeup should look. I noticed when she was finished that my brows and eyeliner looked very uneven. She said it was due to swelling and that it would be fine once I was healed. It has been over a month and I have a severly uneven brow (one looks fine but the other goes far above my natural eyebrow).
