Our first time here and our artist did an amazing job. We originally walked in and was seeing how much it would cost and he was available and jumped right on it. Sat and tattooed for 3.5 hours. They have a waiting room with seating and a huge tv so people can watch tv if they didn’t want to sit in a chair and wait. My husband gave a photo and rough details and the artist made it happen, my husband was very satisfied. This will be his place to go next time he wants his other work done.( these guys are. I went in about a month ago to get a portrait done and Daniel Aguero helped me out. I had a rough idea of what kind of portrait, but was unsure. The reason you get 1 star . Is because I call first to see if you take walk ins . I come all the way to your shop. Then the artist I talked to on the phone puts me on another artist. That artist says he is throwing some clothes on and will be right there. I wait almost two hours. They call the artist . He says 15 more min . I wait another 30 still no show. Sorry but my mother and I ran a tattoo parlor in South Alabama for 30 years . We know how to run a business and that's bad business. That's why you get 1 star . Read Less

This shop is full of talented artists well versed in various tattoo styles. The atmosphere is fun, family oriented and very comfortable to be around. They mostly work by appointments, however if you go by on a weekday you might be able to catch an artist with some open availability. I'd definitely recommend this shop for any Tattoo you may be considering, from realistic color/black and gray to neo-traditional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I went to get a tattoo here thinking I'd try a new place out but wish I hadn't. At first I called the shop and spoke with Sylo and he seemed really quick about getting me in. I went and started my tattoo but he wanted to stop and said he'd finish it once it healed. This was in June and I've been texting for months now and it seems as though he's ALWAYS busy and then eventually just stopped texting me back. These guys are very unprofessional and I honestly wish I hadn't of wasted my money on an unfinished tattoo. Great shop its clean and very welcoming!! Everyone who works here is chill and super friendly! From what i can tell by seeing other peoples tattoo they know what they are doing and take alot of pride into their work! Im very impressed, my artist is Angel he is super chill and hes doing great work!! My tattoo is in my ribs and abdomen... So its been a process and what not but pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the work he is doing. The shop is kinda far for me tho cause i live in Boerne. But like i said i really dont have anything negative to say about this shop. Ive met a few of the other artist and i really am considering coming back and getting my other work done here! This is my second tattoo and i feel more welcomed and comfortable here then i did at platinum. They play music and they change it to what you ask if you dont like what they are playing. And the most important thing to me that i like is they are not just trying to get your money and be done with you. They care and they wanna do it right and to the beat of their abilities!! I really wanted to get a tattoo done by Sylo at Firme Copias; unfortunately, my entire experience with this shop has been underwhelming at best. I have wanted to get my second tattoo for years but have been hesitant because it's a full shoulder to shoulder back piece, but finally decided to commit... which I would have hoped would have been matched with equal commitment from Firme.I visited the shop about 2 months ago for the first time to find an artist and get an initial design layout started. I went back the next day to meet with the artist they best thought could fullfill my vision. I waited for weeks to hear back from the artist or get a sketch. When I didn't hear from the shop I went back in to check on the progress, none had been made. Six weeks ago I contacted the artist to see if he had anything and to notify him that I had a last minute trip to South America and I would be going out of the country; he called me and said he would text me when he had something before I left. I returned from South America a week ago and went back into the shop, still no sketch. I was then told he needed a day or two to make a layout we could start from. Two days later when I contacted him again he told me he had given my piece to Mike to work on. I still haven't heard from Mike.....To be fair, I don't have a consistent work schedule; however, I had vacation days coming up  that I had hoped to use for my first session after all the details had been hammered out over the past 8-10 weeks.... I still don't even have a rough sketch. I am thinking of trying Dandyland, but I hear they have a long waiting period.The scariest part of all this is that this tattoo shop is opening up a second location in town but they don't even seem to have time for their current prospective clients, clients that were prepaired to spend $1000.00 + dollars on an intricate piece of artwork.
