When it comes to piercings at Special D Ink, I really trust their piercer Jesus! He is sweet, nice, very sterile and has experience. He did both of my tragus piercings and they healed perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I recently got my septum done here, by someone who wasn't jesus, and I was definitely not pleased about it. He had a really stale attitude and wasn't too friendly, but the worst part was that he pierced my septum in the wrong place. Now, this was my second time getting this piercing, and even the first time it was in the wrong place. I was really hoping to have it done correctly this second time, but I was let down. 3rd times the charm I guess, but I definitely will be going to a different piercing parlor. Read Less

He answered all my questions without seeming annoyed by any of them and was great about telling me what to expect in terms of pain and after care. I went here on Monday with a friend to get piercings and let me first start off by saying I was really really nervous because I have never had a professional piercing done before. At a glance, the place is really sterile and clean and small but home-y. My friend and I were greeted almost right away and when we told them what we wanted the guy got the piercer right away. We then filled out consent forms each and waited for the guy (never got a name) to get everything ready. My friend ended up going first and I went second. The guy opened everything, i.e needles, clamps, jewelry, so everything was sterile and he changed his gloves often as well. Each piercing I got went pretty painlessly and efficiently. The guy was nice and made casual conversation. Definitely felt comfortable and more relaxed after awhile. Would definitely come back here if I ever wanted another piercing! Read Less

The guys there are amazing, my dog was dying and I rushed him to the vet next door to special -D-Ink but it was after hours I was waiting outside when my dog stopped breathing they saw me holding my dog crying and the guys all came out an did CPR on my dog and got his heart beating again. Sadly my dog did not make it thru the night,but the care and compassion these guys showed was amazing! I have also gotten 2 tattoo's here my husband has as well. we will always be loyal customers. Went last night at 11:30p for a piercing and the place was locked up and dark even though hours are posted open until midnight. Called this morning to find out when piercer would be there and was told 4:00p. Showed up at 4:30p and was then told he wouldn't be there until 6:00p. Left and went back at 9:30p tonight and again the place was dark and locked up with no one there. Tired of wasting my gas and time. Will definitely find somewhere more professional to go. Read Less
