I came to Renee with microbladed eyebrows done by an inexperienced technician. They were uneven and far too dark in color. I was terrified that the damage could not be undone. Renee assured me that she could remove them with no scarring. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. I trusted her immediately. After two removal sessions, almost every last bit of the pigment has been erased. I feel much more confident now that those misshapen caterpillar eyebrows are gone. Renee truly gave me my face back! I’ve recommended her to everyone I know who is looking to get permanent makeup or removal done. If I had found her before the last technician I used, I never would have needed removal. Her work is absolutely stunning. Renee has also done laser treatments on me to remove moles, milia, and hyperpigmented spots from acne I had when I was younger. I’m extremely happy with the results of those treatments as well and plan to go back for more. It’s a shame that Yelp has filtered out her years worth of positive reviews after she refused to pay their monthly fee. They have a track record of bullying small businesses into submission. Renee- can't say enough about her- she is a beautiful lady, extremely professional and knows her stuff. Her husband Felix is warm and helpful. They are both amazing. Before Renee, I went to some lady who was I'm convinced tried to ruin my face. She did permanent make up on my lips in Barney purple inside my lip line. My lips were almost black from being bruised and were swollen to about 10 times their size. She also royally messed up my eyebrows. About 5 days later I was desperate and started googling for someone to fix what had been done. I came across Renee and noted the hundreds of pictures of her work on her website. Many of the photos were of corrective work so I called her right away. She got me in immediately and knew exactly what color to combine with the Barney purple to make my lips a natural shade of pink/red. She also made sure to line my lips on the actual lip line and not inside so my lips look full again. We had to remove the eyebrows and start over. One other thing I must mention is that Renee has a very light touch. My swelling the second time around I expected to be worse because my lips were so traumatized. In fact, I had no bruising and very little swelling. I recovered seriously in about 3 days! Amazing. My advice- there are many people who claim to know what they are doing. Renee really does. Don't try to save money and go to someone who charges what seems like a cheap price. Believe me it will be much more expensive and painful in the long run. Renee is an artist and you should really think twice before picking just anyone to do permanent makeup on your face! She is fixing my bitched lip liner, which was supposed to be a full/ solid lip color. She fixes other's mistakes, constantly! There was a botched client right before me. I'm a nurse and I trust her judgment and knowledge. She has a passion for this work and I have nothing but respect for that! Her husband, Felix was very helpful and welcoming. He even reminded me to sleep elevated tonight to reduce swelling, along with some more after care instructions. After doing a lot of research I decided to go to Renee while visiting family in the area, almost 6 six years ago. I already had permanent eye liner and it wasn't bad I just wasn't in love with it. Renee looked at what I had and shared the options she thought would make me happy. She was so amazing. I travel every summer from Alaska to visit family and Renee has been on my musty see list ever since my first visit. I cannot even express how thankful I am I found Renee before I had any work done anywhere else. I searched for over 2 years on who might the best tattoo makeup artist be in this area and I couldn’t find any one better with samples of work than the work Renee had available on her website. Renee is truly an artist and knows how to draw and she knows make-up. This is important because you want someone who actually KNOWS how to do what they are putting on your face PERMANENTLY. I had read so many horror stories on the internet with tattooed make-up and I just couldn’t trust my face to anyone. I was honestly very scared. From the very beginning, with all of my questions, Renee was very responsive and even sent me samples of her work which continued to assure me. I made the appointment and after meeting her and talking with her and seeing all of her work, and after drawing on my eyebrows perfectly (which I could never even do despite how good I was at make-up). I knew she was going to take care of my face and I knew I could trust her. She had a very light touch and I didn’t feel any pain. My eyebrows were perfect and when I looked in the mirror, it made me tear up because I have not had eyebrows in over 10 years (due to celiac and hypothyroidism). I was so self-conscious about this before I walked into her studio and walking out, I felt like a new person! I can say I am definitely more confident because of her work! I am a natural strawberry-blonde, so my eyebrows have always been a problem for me. When I lost much of my eyebrows due to a hypo-thyroid issue, I decided to start looking into permanent tattoos to help. It was seeing my unevenly drawn eyebrows in a picture (I lovingly called it my Cruella Devill look), that finally caused me to seek out a permanent makeup artist. After researching the Internet, I found Timeless Beauty by Renee and made an appointment. I knew from reading two of the reviews that she was possibly more expensive, but I truly believe that you get what you pay for, and you don't go cheap when it comes to permanent makeup on your face! After getting my brows tattooed by Renee with the hairline strokes, I loved the shape, but I was concerned about them being too dark (remember, redheads are not used to seeing dark eyebrows). Renee told me to trust her and that the color would calm down in a few weeks. Well, she was right! I get compliments on my brows all the time. The shape and color are amazing, and people are impressed when I tell them they are tattooed because they look so natural. Yes, she is more expensive than the other places I could go, but I want quality and I got it. Because of the amazing outcome of my eyebrows, I went today to get eyeliner. Took my daughter here for a microderm.  While I am very happy with her 'usual' esthetician, she is a time consuming drive from our home, meaning she's really only available on weekends.  Although Renee does not seem to have a good Yelp rating, I also know from a doctor friend who mentioned she began receiving negative reviews after declining services from a "consumer rating" internet service that that happens to good practioners, so I took her 1 star with a grain of salt. Also, how can someone botch up a microderm?  Even if they did, it wouldn't be the end of the world.Anyway, Renee could not have been better!  She only uses organic material for her microderm machine, instead of the less expensive  aluminum crystals, explaining it was to protect her health, and her clients.  Nice.My daughter got a great service, and as I was the last customer of the day, Renee took extra time to talk to me about permanent makeup, and even showed me what it could look like on my face.I'm not sure who these people are that are complaining about her service, because I viewed hundreds of before and after pictures in her client books (including a severely burned patient), and everything looked beautiful.Her prices are a little high, but she offers bundling discounts on everything.  I will def be going back to visit. I came to Renee after my face was botched by a technician who claimed she was an instructor. I had eyeliners put on that made me look like a raccoon and lips that looked ragged. I was very unhappy with the results but after many years of searching for the right person to correct the botched work and many false promises, I was lucky enough to run into someone who was also botched and with her referral, I came to see Renee. But little do you know she has done shoty work and wont admit to any wrong doing. a long time ago a friend of mine went to her to get some facial work done and her work looked crapy I said is this work done by a grown up or a kid? After I had done some ?shopping? around I found Renee but made the choice to go to someone else that was less expensive HUGE MISTAKE!! The ?micro pigmentation extraordinaire? I chose was located in a Dallas spa so I felt it had to be on the up and up and I was getting a bargain. I could not have been more wrong. My procedure ended up being terrible, the technician was the most unprofessional person who was talking on her phone while tattooing my eyeliner, her room was filthy, I knew I should leave but didn?t know what to do? when I was able to see the end result she had given me wings on the eyeliner that were very long, uneven and not shaped at all. When I made complaints to the TX board of health I discovered neither her or the spa were licensed, also they had been reprimanded about sanitation procedures along with a list of other things they were not in compliance with. This technician had been illegally doing permanent cosmetics on others for 5 months. As a health professional I was shocked & should have known better. It could have ended up a lot worse. I would warn others to do your research!!! & if it?s cheap there is a reason why. Don?t risk your health going to someone less expensive!! I came to Renee for her to correct my problem. Dear mcjenjen, I would appreciate the courtesy of contacting our office regarding any questions that you may have with our services before posting untrue remarks and unfair rating. Before a client leaves, we always go over all the charges as well as care instructions. If you are not clear as to the charges then why pay for it and also tip me $100? When you contacted our office and spoke to the front desk person, you were quoted a starting price. As he stated on the phone, permanent makeup starts at $250 per procedure and depending on the type of procedures the prices will vary. You signed a consent form which has all the prices and check boxes with the procedure that you are requesting prior to me putting any anesthetic on. How can you not know what the prices are when it is on the first page of the consent form immediately after your address? Since you came in without a consult, I offered you the chance to add permanent lash enhancements to your procedure. The typical client usually comes in for a consult first, but you opted out. Since it was your first time, I went through some options with you. You actually got $300 off by adding the lash enhancements with your procedure. This was explained to you prior to the work and you chose to add it. The extra charge of $35 was for the removal of the lash extensions which were so badly glued on that it took me longer to remove than the actual permanent makeup that I did. The other $35 dollars was for the optional purchase of the pads to clean your eyes. This person, a competitor, who falsely fed you the info that you have been ""ripped off"" should be aware that by feeding you false information to defame another could lead her to a lot of trouble leading to serious law suits. Your permanent makeup was done only 4 weeks ago by me and you found someone else that is ""better"" to work on you without allowing my work to heal is another reason to be cautioned. As happy as you were with my work the day you left and tipping me $100 and turning around with this kind of rating tells me my competitor is behind this. You were scheduled for a 4 week follow up and didn?t care to come in. I have done over 28,000 procedures with an A+ rating in this industry, therefore, my work and testimonials will speak for itself. The permanent makeup industry is bombarded with self proclaimed technicians who have done shame to our profession. Some of these techs are doing procedures on people and charging fees that are less than a hair cut and color and wrecking people?s faces and have the nerve to feed false information to their clients such as yourself to bring down someone like me who is successful with high standards is beyond me. If you go to Jose Eber Salon and get a cut and color from his salon, you are looking at least $500. If you go to Supercuts, you will be paying around $50. Hair will grow back but your face won?t so please don?t compare my prices to the bargain nail shops that may not even be licensed or have the experience and expertise to do the work that we offer at our medical facility. You get what you pay for and not to mention you are putting your health at risk. My mother came to Renee a couple of years back and had her lips and brows corrected. I came to this place because I had botched permanent brows. After going to several permanent makeup technicians to fix a botch up work, I wasted a lot of money and I also got scars. Luckily, I found Renee. She was able to fix my brows and made it look gorgeous. I finally got what I paid for. It would have been a lot cheaper if I had found her and did it right the first time. Renee does have a lot of options for eyeliners. She does lash enhancements which is the cheapest and as you want french eyeliner, smudged or shadow, it would cost more since it is a lot more work and most other places don't have the skill to do it. I believe this is fair and she does have all the prices on the consent form so there is no surprises as to the charges. She also informed me upfront about any additional costs during my consult since my brows were corrective. Up front she said it would cost me an additional $150 to do color correction and that was also stated on my consent form. I was quoted a price over the phone for permanent eyeliner. Once I was there and had numbing creme on my eyes with them shut and covered, I was informed that if I would like to have the lines filled in, it would be another $200.00 bucks. Quite a compromising position to be in for discussing price. Once I went to pay, there was an additional amount added to my bill, for what I don't know. I just wanted out of there and will never, ever recommend this person to anyone. I since have found someone who is really good and she tells me that noone would ever piece out eyeliner and filling in between the brows. I was totally ripped off. Read Less
