This place is a rip-off!  She is WAY overpriced and only pretends to care about you when you are there and in follow up appointments.  If you have a real issue or concern, she shuts you down and sends you away.  It happened to another woman during my appointment, and I should have known then there would be a problem.  She assured me the woman was the issue.  She also assured me she knows the best techniques, uses the highest quality ink, and will correct anything I don't like until I am happy.  I paid over $800 - some by card and some by cash.  She was grateful for the cash, so she didn't have to report it to the government.  She also gives you oil in an unmarked bottle, which I believe actually removes the ink from your skin, so you have to get touchups frequently (I have had many professionals since tell me to never use any type of oil because it removes the pigments from your skin).  She assured me the type of application she did for me would last 10 years, and I would maybe have to get a touch-up in five years.  It lasted 8 months after a redo!  My mother was with me during the consultation and procedure, and she heard the same information.  In fact, she even questioned it extensively.  Buyer beware.  At first, the brows look great and you feel good, but it's short-lived, and she wants to charge you $250 for touchups.  I am convinced people write great reviews on this place and forget to update them with the bad results.  I am disgusted with how much money I spent.  My eyebrows are nearly back to the way they were when I went to see her.  So disgusted. I was beyond excited to get my brows microbladed, ended up totally disappointed with them. Crying a whole day because of how bad they looked. Not only was one brow higher than the other one, thanks to her poor measurement of the brows, (btw who measures with a ruler? If your business is doing well, I’m sure you can buy an eyebrow metric ruler I see almost every professional use) maybe the brows would’ve been more even if you used it, but the color didn’t even last. & do not put the blame on me, because I followed every rule you have written on your paper. Never sweated, kept cool & kept them super clean. In the end she doesn’t guarantee that the color will last, which I wish I knew beforehand. Realized that I got ripped off, wasting $700 is ridiculous, & BTW THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE A TOUCH UP LOL WHAT A JOKE. I feel scammed because she used another tool on me, it was as if she knew the color wouldn’t last so obviously I’m going to come back for a retouch. Which means more money for her. Unbelievable. I couldn’t be happier with my new brows! Seung has permanent makeup down to a science. She takes her time and studies your features and facial symmetry, giving you the perfect brows for your unique face. I’ve wanted permanent brows for years but was afraid to commit. I just finished up my 4th visit to Tashi Brow Studio for my annual eyebrow touch up.   If you are looking for cheap eyebrows, this is not the place for you.  What you will get with Seung is a top notch experience with a true eyebrow artist.  She takes her time with every customer to give you the absolute best results possible.  It will likely take you a few months to get an appointment with her, she is in high demand for a reason and well worth the wait.  It was really hard for me to wait the 3 months for my first appointment with Seung (I am one of those instant gratification people) but I also realized I couldn't trust my face with anyone else.  Getting a tattoo on your face is a very scary thing but knowing that I was going to the best eyebrow artist in town calmed my nerves.  In addition to her amazing skills, Seung is a beautiful person and I always enjoy chatting with her during my appointments.  I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. Attention to detail!!!!I did a lot of research before booking my microblading session at Tashi Brow Studio. I wasn't expecting to wait so long to get in but soon realized demand simply outweighed supply and that in itself is a testimonial. Good things come to those who wait. Seung doesn't treat her clientele in an assembly line manner and depending on what you're having done, your appointment might last around three hours.My appointment began by filling out a screening form to give Seung a clear picture of my skin history to help her advice me accordingly. After determining I was a candidate for microblading we discussed the type of look I wanted. I was very open to getting Seung's input considering she's the expert. We ended up going with the ombre powder technique since I already have plenty of brow hair. Next Seung took the time to fully explain the process and answered all of my questions. She went so far as to diagram some of what she was explaining and the science behind the technique. I can easily say after this I felt more than comfortable turning my brows over to her.The time she takes to measure and adjust is pretty intense. She'll ask you to stand, lay back down, takes photos and basically fine tunes everything before ever starting the tattoo process. The process itself is simple and never uncomfortable or painful. Numbing cream is applied where needed and for me, the hardest thing was keeping still. My touchup session was very similar except we skipped the initial consultation. Seung will determine when to come in for a touchup based on skin type and healing time and she was so flexible about fitting me in. Healing was similar after both sessions. My brows were very dark for the first three to four days then started to scab and lighten. You really don't get to see the final results until the third or fourth week.  You'll leave with after care instructions and Seung will answer any questions. I followed her instructions closely and had no discomfort during the healing process. I would describe the most intense feeling as a very mild occasional itch that only lasted a couple of days.Seung takes pride in her work and is honest and upfront about the entire process. If she doesn't think you have the right skin type for what you're requesting or you want an end-result that isn't reasonable, she'll tell you, even if it's not what you want to hear. She's open to providing options and suggestions. I feel like this is one of those, "you get what you pay for" type of procedures. Everyone seems to be offering it and you can get it much cheaper but I feel like half of those people end up coming to Tashi for corrective work that may or may not be able to be fixed. Really unhappy with my eyebrows the shape is terrible and they are gigantic. I think I'm going to have to get laser treatments they aren't going away. Wish I never did this. Now I hate how I look without makeup and this cost like $600. I know they have faded some but they look so awful especially my left one (the one that didn't peel off during healing) , doing my makeup is really hard because it's so messy and uneven. The entire time she bragged about her training (10 years) and all her accomplishments. So this is the product with 10 years of training? It was supposed to be $500, but she kept pressuring me for different things otherwise "my brows wouldn't looks as good." My Mom paid $750 and left with awful sharpie brows. I guess it's just a big money scheme. I think most of these reviews are fake, so sad I fell for it. My brows did NOT match the pics on all her social media. This is a long overdue review for one of the best (if not the best) cosmetic procedures I've decided to go through. I had my eyebrows microbladed with Seung approximately 6 months ago.My story is, I've always had fair/short eyebrows that didn't frame my face. Once I started plucking the strays to give them more of a shape, they just looked thin and overplucked. I can't remember how I discovered microblading, but I was intrigued and did my fair share of research to find the best esthetician in the DFW area that could provide a natural look. I didn't want to end up with purple/tattooed eyebrows, you know?I'm so happy I found Seung. Her work is phenomenal. Booking: She's usually booked 3-4 months out, but it was worth the wait for me. You can waitlist for cancellations, I believe, if you email or call. She may be busy to pick up, but you can leave a voicemail. Cost: It was $50 deposit, and the procedure I received was $500 for the first visit. There is a required follow-up 6 weeks afterward that is an additional $75. I would check her website for the up-to-date pricing as prices may have increased.First Visit: Her previous client ran over by 15-20 minutes but I didn't mind. I think you have to understand that she is the only one working there and can't just drop what she's doing in the middle of the session. I was first given a consultation where Seung explained the colors that would work for my skin tone. She took time to understand the shape I wanted and drew an outline. The first 15 min or so did hurt because numbing cream was not used. It helps the color last longer. I wasn't in excruciating pain, but maybe it's akin to a cat scratching you. After the initial coloring, numbing cream is applied, and more "blading" is performed, and this part didn't hurt much. In total, the process took about 3 hours. My eyebrows looked great right after although they were sore for about a day. Then it became really dark for the next 2 days until it started scabbing and peeling (this is normal). It took about 2-3 weeks for the brows to heal and color to settle. She will explain aftercare instructions to you.Second visit: After the first visit, I was already content, but once my eyebrows healed, there were a few patches where the colors did not latch on as well. During the second visit, she spends time filling in these parts, and alter the shape, if you would like. Aftercare instructions are same as the first visit. The color is semi-permanent so it lasts about 12-18 months.Location: She has an office inside of the Imagique hair & spa building (second floor). I am over the moon happy with my eyebrows! I am 53 years old with blonde hair and have over plucked for years! I researched and followed microbladding technicians all over DFW. I have been following Seungeun for several months and knew she was the right choice before I ever entered her studio. Seungeun is a perfectionist and takes her profession very seriously. She spent quite a long time taking pictures, measuring, talking with me and analyzing the best way to proceed with microbladding my eyebrows. I was never nervous. Actually I fell asleep during the procedure under the warm blanket she gave me. I was excited about getting my eyebrows done by Tashi but ended up being completely dissapointed. One ended up being higher than the other. It was awful. I was self conscious about it for several months and I was terrified about going back to her, fearing that she would mess them up even more. I ended up going back to her but was not Happy with her explanation of why my eyebrows ended up being uneven. In addition, I was going to pay another $350 on top of the $750 that I had initially paid. I didn't trust her so I went to someone else. I'm glad I did. They corrected my eyebrows and now I'm absolutely in love with them. And I paid less than the $350 that she wanted to charge me to correct them. I have my 3rd appointment today. I wouldn't keep coming back if I didn't love their work. Seung treats her clients as family. My first microblade appointment was in April. We talked about everything under the sun. My touch up was 6 weeks and she remembered everything we talked about and was asking updates on things. I've been to Seung two times now for my eyebrows, and had an awesome experience each time! The first time I did microblading and this time I decided to go with ombre per Seung's recommendation. She's always super friendly and very professional. First she starts off by taking measurements of your face and drawing an outline of your ideal brows with a pencil. Then she takes a picture  to make sure the outline looks perfect before she starts the process. My only reason for the 4 stars is due to the wait after you have booked an apt. After booking an apt ( that took months to get in the first place.. which is fine since she is so good!) I sat in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes PAST my apt. I'm not really sure where to begin... My sister and I lack in the eyebrow department for whatever reason. We have dark hair, but extremely light, non-existent eyebrows. My sister found Tashi after doing extensive research approx. 2 years ago. After seeing her work, this has been on our wish list (seriously for two+years!) For years I did not like my eyebrows. Sure, they were semi-full, but what always bothered me was that no matter how much I tried, they were never symmetrical and there always seemed to be gaps in all the places where I wanted hair. So I made an appointment with Seung and I was so nervous a few days before, thinking to myself, “will I like it”? So I drove 2 hours to go see Seung. What I appreciated most was the interview process, which entailed what I wanted my eyebrow to look like and what color. Once we got that figured out, Seung made detailed measurements on what my perfect eyebrow should be based on my face (which is asymmetrical- I might add). Once she drew the shape, she asked me what I thought of it and I just knew I had gone to the right place and made the right decision. AND THEN once I was finished, I was just amazed. Seung is absolutely amazing. I was with her for nearly 3 hours and the entire experience was fantastic. Background: I over-plucked my brows in High School and they never really grew back. Fast-forward 20 years and my eyebrows have only become lighter and thinner with age. I was terrified at the thought of permanent makeup, but after some research I decided it would be worth it to not have to draw my brows on every day and found Seung online via all these other great Yelp revi...ews. Seung took a lot of time with me during the consultation, going over the different options, pricing, aftercare instructions, what to expect during the procedure and in the weeks of healing. She happily answered any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with everything. When we were ready to get started, she drew her proposed shape on me and I'll be honest- it was bigger and bolder than the thin eyebrows I'd been penciling on each morning. However, she measured my face symmetry and bone structure and asked me to trust her. I am SO GLAD I DID because I am beyond happy with the end result. She far exceeded my expectations. The procedure itself was slightly uncomfortable. If you've ever had a tattoo, it's not quite as bad. It feels like little scrapes with some light stinging. I just kicked back and did some deep breathing while she got into her zone. She is a true artist and you can tell she is a perfectionist and takes great pride in her work. The procedure took about 2 hours, and when I was able to look in the mirror at the end result, I nearly cried. I know that sounds a little dramatic but it's true. Amazing!  You may want to go ahead and book your appointment before reading the rest of this review... it took me more than 4 months to get in!  Absolutely worth the wait.Seung is a true talent.  You won't find a better experience.  She is very detailed and takes her time to create the perfect shape for your face and to choose the right coloring.  She considers the depth of the tattoo needle, your skin type and your own coloring to get the color spot-on, so that you're not one of those people who needs to be color-corrected later when your brows have turned an unnatural shade of green, blue or purple.  Her understanding of her craft is very reassuring.I was initially a little freaked out when she suggested I go with a darker color, and upon leaving the studio my brows were definitely dark.  Once the color settled, though, I was amazed at how perfect Seung's eye really is.  The hair strokes blended in with my natural hairs perfectly.All that to say, getting a tattoo on your face is scary to say the least, but trust her!  She knows what she's doing.  I am thrilled with my result, as I now have very natural-looking, full brows.  I used to spend so much time on my brows, trying to get them filled-in every day, and I was never happy with the result (I like a very natural look, nothing filled-in).  Now I wake up and am ready to go.  My family and friends can't believe it, and I have have several friends who are booking their own appointments at Tashi Brow & Skin after very close inspection of my eye-brows in person.I chose the microblading option the first time around, and then at my touch-up she used the hair stroke technique.  The microblading was a bit uncomfortable, but not bad.  The hair-stroke technique is what fully gave me the look I was after, and was not a bit painful.  Seung will help you to decide the right option for you, based on all your own personal variables.  You won't be disappointed!Just FYI, in total I spent $550 + tip.  Best money I ever spent!  And this is the first review I've ever bothered to write. I got my eyebrows done today and Seung was absolutely amazing! The entire process took approximately 2 1/2 hours (consultation and procedure). During the first part Seung really educated me on everything from the medical aspect of the procedure to exactly what she was going to do with my eyebrows, her technique, what blade was best for me, and even color mixing to find the perfect color for my skin tone. If for whatever reason you don't have eyebrows, or the ones you have require augmentation...RUN don't walk to Tashi!  Seung (pronounced "Song") is a true artist, perfectionist, and professional.  Based on Yelp reviews and photos, I booked my July appointment with her in March.  But she was able to work me in in May.  For the end result I would have gladly waited.My brows and her tip wound up costing a little more than I'd budgeted, but the result was well worth it!  Never again will I use eyebrow powders or pencils every morning.  Sorry Bobbi Brown!  The before and after photos tell the story! The next process began by Seung measuring my face, and she recommended the ideal eyebrows for my facial shape. Thank goodness I was the last client because the whole process took a lot longer than expected (due to me asking so many question & tweaking the eyebrows a bit), but it was totally worth it! Like many others here, I am so grateful to have found Seung!  I was not an over-tweezer but I could just never get the eyebrow shape that seemed to work well for my face.  I booked my appointment far in advance (but let me tell you, she is absolutely worth the wait!) and even though I arrived 15 minutes early, Seung was ready and waiting for me.  Her assistant went over all of the after-care instructions with me and both asked several times if I had any questions.  Her office space is clean, inviting, and very professional.  When we began the treatment, Seung asked me what I wanted out of the appointment.  This gave us the chance to talk about the different procedures and options.  But let's be realistic - I was there because I am a mess when it comes to my eyebrows.  I told her that I wasn't sure what this would look like but that I wanted her to do whatever she needed to do to give me an eyebrow shape that best fits my face.  She explained that this may mean losing a lot of my own eyebrows.  But after seeing her work online and reading all of the amazing reviews, I 100% trusted her to create my new eyebrows.And that she did!  I am just stunned at the amazing result.  I wasn't even trying to look younger, yet that's one of the great effects from this!  Most importantly, I feel so much more confident now.  I didn't really realize just how much the correct eyebrow shape can transform your face and overall confidence.  So a huge thank you to Seung for giving me the most amazing eyebrows and a huge boost in my confidence! Seung s AMAZING! I am in the beauty industry as well, I own a hair salon in Plano, and have extremely high expectations.  The times I go to other service appointments with the expectation of being disappointed by the level of customer service at so many people offered now a days. However, all my expectations were met by Seung! I was there for my initial appointment for a couple of hours because she allowed me to ask every single question I could think of with patience and for explanation. I read the 2 star review below by Tara and are completely SHOCKED that she would ever have this type of experience with Seung.  As she mentioned in her review Seung opted to not do the micro blading on her, even after booking a three hour slot for her.  To me, it sounds like she was not a good candidate. In my opinion I would 100% want someone to do that rather than do the service to just just get my money! As you can see by her many many reviews this just doesn't happen! Being in the industry I know having patience with someone's appearance and meeting their needs can be tricky.  However, as I mentioned she waa extremely patient and thoroughwith my initial appointment and my follow up appointment! I am in love with my brows and send all my clients her way! I wish I could give more stars! Seung is a brow genius! Seriously, I don't know that I've ever had someone so knowledgeable touch my brows. I read all the Yelp reviews before booking and I wondered (as I usually do) if it was as good as it was hyped up to be. It absolutely is!  Seung really has a craft. If you don't consider brow design a craft- it may just be that you haven't seen the difference between Seung and everyone else. She takes into account so many other things others don't- your face structure, proportions, and your natural brow shape.I have never heard someone take into consideration the surrounding muscles and measure to make sure the final result was great for my face- and believe me, I've had A LOT of people look do my brows. I put myself in her capable hands and the result was fixing my "surprise" brows into a beautiful, more natural shape. My brows look thicker, and I can definitely tell the difference in the compliment to my face shape.  I love her approach, and after trying out the waxing, I plan to do a full permanent eyebrow appointment. Book early because she is BUSY! I will tell you it is well worth the wait. She lives up to every wonderful thing you will read on Yelp, and then some. You will not be disappointed.Update: I had my brows done using the ombré technique and they are amazing. I have had so many compliments and people tell me all the time how natural it looks. Seung is the best esthetician I have found in the state of Texas. I initially went in for an upper lip waxing and ended up consulting her on my eyebrow design as well. As someone with incredibly sensitive skin, I usually leave the salon with embarrassing red stripes across my face. This didn't happen with Seung. She's both gentle and thorough. Whereas other estheticians perform routine waxing services without regard to how the brow shape will suit you, Seung takes the time to analyze your facial structure and design your eyebrows to suit your face shape. And she does all of this in a remarkably short period of time. In sum, if you live within driving distance of Plano, it is worth the commute to book an appointment with Seung.
