Went to get a cover up and let me tell you it was a wonderful expirance! Jo informed me very well of what will and what will not comply with my skin color since I was going to add color to my tattoo! He made it very easy and painless as I was getting my cover up done! Definitely going back to get more work done by him! His also very understanding when it comes to pricing doesn’t take advantage of the situation! Thank you Jo!

Great quality tattoos and reasonable pricing. I strongly suggest calling to make an appointment to get a tattoo rather than just walking in. If there are any cautions to a design you want, he does not hesitate to tell you the risks about it (unlike other shops where they will tattoo anyrhing just to get your money).
He is the only artist working there and does tattoos only (no piercings).
I was referred to by a friend who was referred by a friend who was referred by a friend and each one of us have gotten at least one tattoo from Smokin Jo! So many people recommend him and I'm so happy with every single one I've gotten from him

I never posted my review of my wrist tattoo from January 2011. I went in with a picture of what I wanted, he drew it quickly, showed it to me and did the tat quickly and calmed me down - I was freaking out. I am now planning on getting my other wrist done soon after so many yrs but have no doubt who I’ll be going to, highly recommend him. I didn’t think he was rude like the other reviews said, I thought he was straight and to the point, he knows his work.

Okay so I went in to inquire about having a tattoo designed. I have the money to spend and I want a big tattoo. The guy that owns this place was completely rude and obnoxious. He acted like he was God's gift to tattoo artistry. Absolutely no salesmanship, uncouth, looked like he hadn't bathed in a week, and would not stop talking. Dude absolutely talked himself out of a job. I will be telling all of my friends and family not to even waste their time with this narcissistic jerk.

He's been at this for over 20 years so he knows what he is doing and it shows. I've never seen a cleaner shop either. Jo actually takes his time in helping you perfect what you want. I went in with a picture of what I wanted, he drew it quickly, showed it to me and did the tat quickly and calmed me down - I was freaking out. I am now planning on getting my other wrist done soon after so many yrs but have no doubt who I’ll be going to, highly recommend him.
