Went with my best friend to get her first big piece from artist Benny, who when we first arrived, had personally prepared her a super bad ass drawing of a new tattoo which she fell in love with! We also live in San Marcos, and this place seems to be the best in the area. The line work was awesome, and the colors he chose really brought it to life. While there, we met the whole crew, including the owner who was extremely kind! The place was brand new (new location), and extremely clean and everybody was beyond professional and friendly!!! All questions were answered with an understanding tone, I know some places can come off a little condescending, but NOT here. Got my halfsleeve finished by Juan at Alliance. It was an angel wing from my shoulder blade to above the elbow and I get compliments on it everyday. I spent years, literally years, thinking about getting a tat, deciding what design I wanted and then where to put it. I went to Alex and gave him the basic concept of what I finally decided to get. Together we spent an hour creating, changing and rechanging the design until I was absolutely happy with it. Then he inked me. The process wasn't painful and went relatively quick.
