Drinks are wack and no alcohol are in them. It stinks the plumbing was leaking all over the floor there was standing water coming from the the lady’s bathroom . It smelled like sewage. The bar tenders were very disrespectful I asked for water in a glass they told me glasses are on for what they are used for. Then I asked for water in a Togo cup they brought me a cup the whole I was drinking the waitress came and she took it from me and said we can’t let you have this anymore after the bar tender just filled the cup up with ice and water. Came here for Wednesday Steak night and enjoyed a decent steak while watching NBA playoffs. The waitstaff is usually nice, but it can take a while to get waited on because they seem short staffed. This place is hard to review as I have always enjoyed every time I've taken it upon myself to stop by, but at the same time the pricey food is what keeps me away most of the time and I live a block away from Woodrow's. Aside from that, it is a super cool bar. It's a non-smoking place and you must be 21 to enter. (They always card) great place to watch sports and hang out with your group of friends. Draft beer is NOT cold. Extreme foamy draft beers, the bartenders had buckets pouring the foam into..which took them a good while to get just beer to us. I ended up switching to bottle beer which was 100x colder. Great selection of beer but if it's not cold...that ruins it all. Read Less

My brother got kicked out because he saw the bartender pouring KD in his royal f*ck when you make it with crown. He called it out because he's paying 10$ per drink and they got mad and kicked him out. This is my local hangout spot but recently their beers have been hot and they are expensive! Also, they run out of a lot of beers and their service can be slow at times. With that being said most of the time I have my favorite waitresses who I know will take care of me in a timely manner. It's best if you know someone there. Ordered a single drink with a friend, took 30 minutes after I finished drinking it to get a receipt and pay $10 for one drink. The music is extremely loud you can't easily have a conversation forget about talking in groups. The wait staff is all female really good looking, other than that this place has nothing. Read Less

The place is really nice especially the outside patio concept. The major downside though is the extended wait during peak times. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to get a drink due to the minimal waiting staff working these times. Each time I've gone, the atomsphere gets worse and worse. Took forever to get my drink, despite there being like six bartenders. At closing, an employee came to our table, and told us, "We're closed. Go home now." There's a small mom and pop type place called The Blue Door in Midland. That place is better. Go there instead. Decided to give this a try for a quick lunch. Upon entering, we were finally told it was open seating which we found an open table (so many to choose from!). It took a good five minutes before someone came over with menus and to take our drink order. I ordered a drink without ice, guess what arrived- a drink full with ice. Tip is going down fast here, people. I get that it is a bar, but I don't want blaring music this early in the day (lucky for me, I had earplugs handy!) We... we finally were able to order, our food was cold. Our waitress didn't really seem to get the concept of being a waitress. Husband's tea was wretched and he ran out of it half way through lunch (oh, but we got a refill as we were finishing). Each time i have gone they are out of nealry every drink i ask for. Went in with a group and the bartender only took the mens order and left us ladies to find our own bartender even though we were sitting right next to the men.  The second star is for the nice lady who was willing to serve us. When we arrived for lunch we found that the music was incredibly loud. My husband has bad tinnitus and this usually makes it worse. We decided to sit outside where it was quieter. Service was decent. Fried pickles were very greasy but good. Sweet potato fries were the best I've had. Patty melt was pretty decent too. Wasn't a fan of the sauce but the meat was very tasty. The service was good, but I got the chicken quesadilla, and omg!!! It had a few big chunks of chicken, in a few of the pieces, and the yellow greasy cheese slopped all over it was disgusting. Well my husband and I were told we could not enter this establishment because my husband was wearing a white shirt! Keep in mind we are in our 50's and we are new to midland, in fact we told the wait staff the same thing, we had to wait at the door, while they checked with the manager and was told he said no! We walked in and asked if we were to just sit anywhere. A waitress told us yes. Since we were not in her section though she didn't help us. Instead cleaned off a table next to us. We waited a good 5-7 minuets before anyone acknowledged us at our table and even then it wasn't the waitress who was supposed to be taking care of us. She took our drink order and told us she was going to go find our waitress. Finally our waitress came and took our order. A busboy brought us our food, when I asked for some mayonnaise it was 10 minutes before he came back to our table to bring it. Our waitress refilled our drinks one time and we had to search out someone to refill our drinks a second time because our waitress was MIA. The only other time we saw our waitress was to give us our check. The least they could have done was comped our drinks, we had soda and tea, but no we paid for it all. While we were sitting there we even saw another party that came in and sat waiting to be served. No one ever came to the table to they walked out. I've been here a few times already and I've never been too impressed with the wait staff. Only a couple of girls really know how to treat a customer. It's super loud I can barely hold a conversation without yelling across the table, I have always had to wait longer than usual for my beverage, last night I asked for an Abida (to which I didn't realize had been taken off the menu) and the waitress looked at me like I was crazy and asked "well idk what that is like a liquor or what?" Our waitress was horrible. I asked for an unsweetened tea and you could tell by the taste it was very old. She acted like it was beneath her to bring me a coke. She only came by our table once the entire time and I had to inquire about the other half of my order. My boneless wings were severely overcooked and dry (the bbq sauce was amazing 😊) and when I finally received my French Fries they were soggy and flavorless. Worst customer Service ever, I went there with my buddy Sunday evening at 6:00 PM and all the  waitresses ignore us no one bothers to take our orders then we start asking the witresses to take our order and the answer was ( I'm not your waitress) then I asked to speak to the manager and guess what the manager didn't even bother to come to our table and ask us what happened, we waited for 2 hours and no one including the manager care to take our order.. worst service, worst management,  racist place.... don't go there if you're not White. I was excited to check this place out. Went in on a Thursday after work and sat at the bar. Bar was half full with 4 bartenders I counted.  Would wasn't greeted or acknowledged when I first sat down.  I waited eleven minutes and no greeting or beer. The bartenders were cleaning the bar. Talking to each other and putting glasses away.  I slowly got up and was hoping to be stopped but it didn't happen. I've been here several times in the last few weeks and really want to like this place because it reminds me of a few bars back home. However, the service is awful! The servers do not know the food or drink menu so be sure to study what's on tap on your way out the back door. Order 2 drinks at a time, it will save you some frustration. Try the fried mac n cheese, the jalapeño ranch that comes with it is a tad runny, but has the perfect amount of heat!  I often take clients out and refuse to take them here until service improves.
