I've read positive reviews about this place as a tattoo parlor so I thought that the piercing aspect would be good as well, and I needed some high grade jewelry. As someone who has had several piercings, I know my way around a fantastic piercing parlor to a poor one. This fell into the latter category. First, the piercer argued with my about the gauge of my piercing. Look, I've had this thing for two years--I know what the gauge is! Second, he condescendingly tried talk me out of purchasing titanium jewelry. This is ironic because their site states, "The piercers only use implant grade titanium with internal threading (what is one of the highest grades in jewelry)." Third, he was about to put in an order without even measuring me. I had to insist that he take a look because any decent piercer would. The reason I stayed so long was because I like to support local businesses, but I should have walked after the first point. I don't like being treated like I'm an annoyance rather than a customer so I left the store. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the young lady at the front desk was very courteous and professional. I'm sure the tattoo artists are great and all, but stay away if you want a decent piercing or someone who treats you with respect. Read Less

Best tattoo shop I have ever been to! I went in with an idea for my cover up and the owner explained in detail why my idea would not work. He was very honest and straight forward in helping me understand what would work. He could have easily taken my idea and done the tattoo just for the money. Got my nose pierced here recently. Pete did my piercing. He was very friendly & the studio was clean. My only suggestion is that I wish there was more than just a corkscrew style piercing available my nose piercing, which I am not keen on. Excellent place to get a tattoo. I have been all around the places to get tattoos and it has been a long time since I last had one. I heard about the $30 tattoos on Thursday so I decided to go and give them a try. There is a book with some $30 tattoos and they are really good deals for $30. Just had the best experience here. Loved the shop, nice, airy, open and clean. Pete was extremely knowledgeable and understood exactly what I wanted. His apprentice is named Maddi and she was the one who did my tat. She did a fantastic job and I'm getting my next 2 with her. The amazing thing, I was her first tattoo! She rocked it for her first. Went in Pistol Petes Wednesday to make appt. had sent him and email of what I wanted a few months ago  So today was my appt and I got one black rose. I said something and he started drawing on me with a sharpie. It's just a black rose bud. I contacted this place because of the reviews on here. First off I called and talked to the owner and was told to come in at 4:30 PM. I called to let him know I was in my way and he changed the time to five because he wanted to go to lunch in which was fair because I know good art can take time. I arrived ten minutes before five and waited until 5:15 and the door was still locked. I called him and he began to try and correct me and say he told me fivish, which I thought still is closer to five. Well, he didn't show until 5:37. Me and my wife walked in to get our matching tatts after 15 years of marriage and he sat and there was no apology, no welcome to my shop. It felt odd like he was having a bad day. I know you are saying that I should of left but I'm pretty patient and wanted to see what he would come up with after showing him the simple words we wanted. He began to say how it wouldn't work after showing him the picture of the tattoo because it would bleed so I wanted to still see what he would come up with. Let me tell you my wife was Pissed already. After about an hour of waiting for him to draw the tattoo, he came with a totally different design and we felt like he just didn't want to deal with us anyways. I didn't have a problem with the price but the customer service was horrible. I have tatts myself but that doesn't make me an ass or a douche bag. I also own two businesses but I would always make the customer feel comfortable no matter what. If the wife is not happy then I'm not and ink is permanent. Glad I chose to give my money to someone else. P. S. He really made us both upset saying that we probably would not be together later and the art he came up with would be safe just in case.
