I originally wanted to go to Precisely Veiled Tattoo to have a cover up done by Amy since my daughter's best friend's mom has been going to her for years and she does beautiful work. Unfortunately her new client waiting list is up to 2 years. Under normal circumstances she would be worth the wait but I had this awful tattoo that needed to be covered up before a wedding I'm in, in October 2019. I went for my consultation with Amy and she advised that I see her guest artist, Sam Castro, and that she had an opening in less than 2 weeks. She showed me her portfolio and I was sold. I met with Sam the Thursday before my appointment to talk about what we could do to cover up my horrendous mistake. On the day of my appointment, she showed me what she drew up and I loved it!! She is an amazing artist and now has a client for life. I can't wait for her to cover up some and revamp other pieces I have. If you choose this shop you will be in great hands!! There are so many things to love about PVT. The shop is always spotless, the staff are all super friendly and professional. They are SUPER talented and do awesome work. The process from consult to completed work isn’t the typical walk in and sit down but it honestly results in a much better tattoo. And Consult Day is a good time, there’s food and they have no problem with bringing kids in. The waiting room is spacious and there’s toys to keep them occupied. I had a tattoo on my neck that I wanted to cover-up. I honestly didn't think i could get it covered with a dainty tattoo- without having to still see the original... but AMY made it happen. :) Her touch is extremely gentle. Which to me was VERY IMPORTANT. Because I was getting a tattoo on my neck. (OMG!)... But she made the experience well worth the wait! I just had another session with owner Amy. I have been a client of hers for a few years now and absolutely love her as an artist, business owner, and as a human in general! I have also been tattooed by a few other guests artists and I've had a few procedures completed by the guest piercer and body modification artist that comes to visit. Everyone I've worked with in this business has been so wonderful! That's one of the reasons why I always come back for more! Ty'esha Reels is hands down AMAZING! She has a way of taking what little ideas I give her and coming up with a flawless design with eye popping color. I went and saw guest piercer Ian Bell for some new jewelry and ended up coming back a couple days later for a new piercing! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. It was a very clean and welcoming environment! I also got a follow-up from Amy about how my piercing was healing. NEVER had another shop take such care of their customers. I can't wait to go on consult day to get some ideas started for tattoos! ETA: I went to consult day last year and got started an amazing arm piece with a guest artist! 3 years ago I began a journey with the talented members of this local shop. I've had 2 full sleeves completed now a full back piece that is progressing. The shop is always clean and a friendly atmosphere with entertainment for others if they choose to visit with you while getting work done.I highly recommend them for first timers to veterans of ink therapy. I cannot say enough good things about PVT. I went in to the shop on consultation day with literally an "idea" of what I wanted.. (this "idea" was in my head, not on paper, mind you).. Amy met with me, listened intently to my ideas, and told me "this is the perfect job for Ms. Moon" (the guest artist) and booked me for that weekend (which surprised me that it worked out to be so soon!). I met with Ms. Moon before our session to tell her what I envisioned, which went something ...like this: "I want a powerful, but classy piece, that has to do with empowering women.. I want a breastfeeding woman as the main focus, and then I want something to do with my 2 kids, a boy and a girl, incorporated into it, and I want a Sunflower, and a dragon fly.. oh, and I want it to be colorful!" I was so nervous when I came back on Saturday because I hadn't seen a drawing yet of my colorful, complicated, dream of a tattoo... but when I walked into her room, I was FLOORED by the gorgeous piece she had come up with. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I went to get a memoriam tattoo and a redo on a really old tat . Jesse was the guest artist that day and he was super cool. I'm very happy with his work. I also have been to get pierced by Ian and he made great recommendations. (He obviously knows his stuff). I've messaged him with questions and he is so patient and helpful. I won't go anywhere else! Went in for a consultation for both my husband and I on 5 Jul and was referred to Painless Al who was a guest artist. We were scheduled for 2 days of work as both my husband and I got 2 tattoos a piece. From the moment we first walked in the shop it was amazing. The cleanliness of the shop was good to the tempature. I went in on the July 5th consultation day with an idea of what I wanted but not exactly who I wanted it from. I was referred to painless_Al by Amy and that was the best desicion by far. He did an incredible job on a piece that took 4 1/2 hours and I couldn't be more happy with the outcome. The shop it self it's super clean and a great temperature inside if, like me, you get hot while your getting work done. I met with Amy the owner of the shop at a consultation to go over a sleeve I am working on. She was extremely nice and patient as I also had a 3 year old with us. She was able to get me in an expo to start working on my tattoo. She checks up on you after which is very nice and explains how to take care of your tattoo. I was initially impressed by the business model of this organization.  It is designed to optimize both time and services by hosting a 1 day a month consultation and then the appointment time is for the tattoo, perhaps finalizing the design followed by the tattoo. However the consultation actually starts with their Facebook "Event" where the owner initially vets the desired tattoos, inviting the prospective customer to view recommended artists work. The artists aren't only her and her Killeen based crew, but guests artists from all over the U.S.!  This gives EVERYONE from the local artists, guest artists, herself and most importantly the client constant variety, inspiration and endless opportunities to create art and receive art.  BRILLIANT!  As I followed the owner I found that she is a strong proponent of continued training, attendance of conferences, etc... TRULY BRILLIANT. The artist she recommended for me, Travis Johns was indeed a good match.  After our very detailed consultation, I emailed him with changes and new ideas.  He was extremely gracious and most importantly open and receptive.  The day of my tattoo, I had two tattoos completed, I wholeheartedly agreed with one design and very unsure of the second.  He was professional and open without compromise to the art of the tattoo.  He never made me feel as if it was a burden for me to change my mind, instead allowing me the process to discover that his original design indeed would be the best choice.  Travis Johns is not only a true artist but a true professional.  I received follow up phone calls to check on my healing and my texts and phone calls with questions regarding the healing process were always answered promptly, professionally, and accurately.  I truly haven't any reason that would warrant me to recommend any other tattoo service other than Precisely Veiled Tattoo.  Doesn't matter the design, technique, subject matter, PVT will be able to provide a well trained, well crafted, professional artist with a support service that no other tattoo shop can provide.  See for yourself - check out the pinned post on their Facebook page, tell Amy want you want, follow her advice and go to a consultation day the first Wednesday of the month.  You're welcome! Awesome shop. Super family friendly. Got a tattoo done for my son on my leg and they had tv in every room so you could chill out while you were getting work done. Also had a great lounge area. Very clean very friendly. My wife was really nervous about getting her first tattoo done because of the pain and the shops she had been in before she didn't feel comfortable in but this place made her feel at ease and the artist totally calmed her down. I went in for my consultation at the beginning of May and everyone I spoke to there was incredibly friendly. I was there specifically to meet with Adam Antunano and discuss a cover up I wanted after first seeing his work on PVT's facebook. He was so enthusiastic and I loved his ideas, so when I went in on Monday for my appointment I was thrilled with what he'd actually come up with. Everything from beginning to end was fantastic. I cannot stop staring at this lovely new piece of art on my arm and I'm so glad I waited to get this done until I'd found both the right artist and the right shop. I am so incredibly impressed by the professionalism and kindness conveyed by everyone here. I met guest artist Pepe Carire on Consultation Day a couple months ago, and from that very first conversation, I could tell he was genuinely enthusiastic about what I wanted to do. I was completely blown away by his sketch! It was exactly how I had pictured it. My first session for my half sleeve was today, and we had planned for me to sit for five hours. I felt fine throughout, but of... course, I felt more and more discomfort towards the end. Pepe never made me feel like I should be ashamed of feeling pain. He was completely wonderful throughout. Then it was time for me to stand up... and I immediately felt lightheaded. Both Pepe and the owner, Amy, came to my rescue with honey packets to help get my blood sugar up and both waited to make sure I was 100% okay. I love this place! I have almost finished my sleeve with Amy's and Ty'Esha's art work. Before coming to this shop I hunted and searched for Amy for almost a year before finally finding her, all because of a tattoo my husband saw of Amy's in AIT. Color me excited when I found out she was in the same city that I lived in but I honestly would have traveled just to get work done by her. Her business practices are amazing and love how much variety she has in her shop with all the award winning artist that guest spot. She now has Ian Bell as a guest piercer and I am tickled pink about it. He is an amazing body modifier and piercer. I have several piercings and the one done by Ian was the best one. Honestly one of if not the best shops I have ever been tattooed in. I was in this past weekend for a spot with one of their guest artists Sam Castro who is honestly the most friendly artist I have ever been tattooed by. She is also super talented as are all the artists there. The staff are very professional and I have always felt very welcomed. The owner Amy cares deeply for all of her artists as made obvious when she reminded Sam to make sure she ate before her next appointment.
