Great artists, just a little expensive. My boyfriend and I had went in on St. Patrick's Day for some spur of the moment tattoos. He got a green shamrock, and I received a Japanese character. For both tattoos it was $210 before tip. Excellent work, but wish is was a little less. Both of ours didn't exceed 3 by 3. Good location compared to the surrounding cities, and Fort Hood. Read Less

I've visited here twice and both experiences were amazing. I received my tongue piercing here in December and recently visited to add on to a new tattoo that I wanted to fit my personality more. As soon as I entered I was helped very easily and I was able to explain exactly what I wanted and left with that and then some. The environment, the artists, and the personalities at La Familia are more than inviting! Duke made me fall in love with a tattoo that I had from another artist previously that did not fit my personality, and he managed to take it to the next level. I never had anything bad to say about this shop until recently. I went in to get my tongue repierced and a little lady did it. She seemed very upset and doesn't open all her tools in front of you like the old piercer Amanda did. It was very painful and crooked. My tongue became numb due to her splitting the muscle in the wrong spot. I had scar tissue coming out the top and bottom. Everyone else was wonderful and full of smiles. My experience here was 5 star all the way. I came in with a difficult image of a Doberman that looked like a seahorse. Trae took on this challenge without any hesitation and gave me a tribute my my breed of choice with great artistry. We spent quite a long time tweaking the design until we're both satisfied. Went to the shop about 3 weeks ago with a vague idea of my tattoo. Talked to one of he artists who recommended I talk to Alex so I waited a few days went back to see him. He took my idea and made it come to life and it turned out better than I could have imagined. He was also able to squeeze my wife in the next day for an amazing coverup. I have already had him do the other half of my sleeve and my wife has her appointment with Alex for her half sleeve. Great shop with amazing artists. I went in for some piercings by Olika, she was very professional. When it came time to get the piercings, she made it a very comfortable atmosphere. I also had a cover up tattoo done by Alex.
